Beautiful finish
Sleek design
Was able to install without hiring someone
Looks great matched with our other LG black stainless kitchen appliances
Delivered with a high quality protective covering to keep it damage free during transit

Took 4 months to be delivered
Instruction manual is Absolute garbage
Had to wire my own power cord
Protective covering is very time consuming and difficult to take off. Make sure you completely remove it before you install the hood. Don’t make the same mistake I did!
Learning how to anchor screws through tile into drywall (no studs) was the biggest challenge.
Had to purchase additional screws and anchors to hang.
I would recommend this to a friend

Love the look, but hate the support that comes with this LG piece. Hired a qualified installer, but it was still an absolute nightmare to install. Instructions were noticeably incorrect (outdated information, wrong pictures and specs). Calling support was painful. Pertinent components were missing and the best they could do was ship the pieces 10 days later and to the wrong address. As for value, the product is simply too pricey for the headache you'll endure at installation. Again, I didn't even do the installation myself and I needed therapy after this one. LG, you're lucky you're pretty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Really good his. Nice look and controls function. Would prefer hard buttons instead of capacitive touch buttons. First one we got was dented but best buy replaced without any argument and got a new one pretty quick.

Pros- Nice contemporary look, Light is bright enough, Fan works well over stove top, Wireless control, Nice dim light for sleeping hours
Cons - Wrapping was difficult to remove completely, Tends to need straightening along front edge, Controls on front can be frustrating to use as sometimes they don't recognize a press

This purchase has been a NIGHTMARE! LG has left us with a dead unit for several months now and this after I spent several thousands of dollars on their Studio line of Kitchen appliances for our home. An oven. A dishwasher. A refrigerator and this piece of garbage Range Hood.
The hood has not worked in MONTHS and LG does nothing but give us the runaround. I have jumped through their hoops like a trained dog at a circus! Their customer service is TERRIBLE. There are supposedly 120 of the Range Hoods in LG's warehouse and yet they cannot get one to me?
Now they want me to remove the Serial Number/Model Number sticker from the hood and cut it in half and take a picture of it and send it to them. I have sent them photos of said sticker. I have sent the photos of the receipt that I actually bought this from Best Buy (several times I have sent this!) and they do NOTHING!
Their customer service center is useless as NOTHING is done by them. I have asked for help from "management" and it is promised and then...NOTHING is done by them.
They keep ignoring me across the board and one supposes it is their hope that I will give up. I am NOT giving up!
LG treats their customers as if they are lying. We have had multiple LG Technicians out to fix this thing and after the 4th time failing to do so, the Techs were told "No RA is authorized!" They are treating me like crap. LG's customer service is non-existent.

I purchased all LG appliances for my new home and now have to redo my kitchen cabinets because they only have range hoods that fit 9.5' ceilings. Seems ridiculous to me that all of their competitors offer extensions and LG can only sell to customers with 9.5' ceilings. That eliminates their wealthiest demographic. Very upset and dissatisfied.
