This is LG's 3rd shot at this... I bought this phone for my daughter. And she seems pretty happy with it, for the most part. It's a welcomed upgrade from her older phone. It runs Andriod 7.0 out of the box, so it doesn't skimp on performance, per se. It comes off as a budget option for that other $1,000 phablet. There are some nice bells and whistles, such as screen writing and the obvious stylus tucked away, in the top of the phone. I think it is a good option for the note taker.( student) that needs a quick pad to jot down references. unfortunately, the fact that you have to download and app tray is kind of a bummer, but fixable( with a download). The camera is possibly the worst feature on the phone. That could be a deal breaker for many. The low light shots are basic at best. the flash does very little to remedy this as well. Call quality is pretty good, for Virgin mobile. All in all, I recommend this to the budget contious person that wants to expirience a phablet for the 1st time. Basically, you get what you pay for. And that's about all.

After having this phone for about a month, I really like this phone. The phone has a huge 5.7 inch screen, takes gorgeous pictures with its 13MP camera . I love the 5MP front facing camera, not that I take many selfies, but when I do they look great. My phone only came with 16g of internal memory, but you can add a SD card to increase memory. I love the double tap feature to wake up the phone, or you can just tap the button on the back. I love the stylus feature. You can set it to automatically pop up a note pad to take notes. I like to use it for Google maps. I don't have to squint to look at the map. This phone is incredibly thin, even when I added the heavy duty case, it is not bulky at all. The battery life is good, 3200 mAh, as with all smartphones, if ur constantly on it, the battery will drain. I would highly recommend it

I read the previous reviews and thought I was going to get a great deal on a great phone, I was mistaken. I owned the phone for 2 1/2 weeks, and the camera started malfunctioning, sometimes taking photos other times not saving them. Then the video function never worked after this. I called to see if I could just exchange the phone, since it was obviously a defective part on the phone, and was told since it was over 14 days, I was out of luck. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY!!!!! LG will fix the phone, but I will be without a phone until it is returned from being fixed. Not how I expected this transaction to turn out. I would attach a photo to this review but ......guess I can't do that with a malfunctioning phone!

My 2nd LG Stylo. Still have the Stylo 2 in good condition after more than 2 years. Very easy to transfer all my data to the new Stylo 3. Phone is lightweight, easy to hold. Very good screen. Like the new fingerprint lock. Sound is very good and loud. Camera has many features. Must wait a few seconds to get the focus just right before saving. Has panoramic setting also. Very low price for all that you get. Can swap battery easily at any time. Charges fast, slow to run down. Who wants an IPhone? This is better.

I had the first Stylo for over two years, and it has served me well. It actually still runs, but is starting to glitch a lot, so time to upgrade. The Stylo 3 has a lot of the same features I've come to love. QuickMemo. Tap twice to wake it up. LG backup. The tray to flip between recent apps. The built-in pen is nicer. It has a cloth tip over a rubber one, which glides better than the first gen's pen. It's also a smaller tip, and makes a finer point when drawing or writing. The fingerprint lock works great. I just have to touch my finger to the sensor, and it unlocks quick--but only for me. It has a backup pin in case the sensor can't catch your print, for those worried about that. The camera is good for a phone camera. I have a real camera for my photography, so the ones in phones disappoint me every time. XD But for taking pics of nights out with my friends and the random selfie, it has a nice camera. I'm neutral so far about Android 7. It runs well, but I miss having all my apps in their own section, instead all of them cluttered on my home pages. Granted, this has nothing to do with the phone itself. It's just an aspect of Android 6 I miss. There are a lot of embedded apps that it won't let you uninstall, only disable. Most are ones people love, like Uber and Amazon, so it's likely not a big deal. Just know there will be Phantom space used up. 16 gigs is a decent amount of internal space, considering the first generation only had 8. After set up and disabling the apps the I didn't want, I have 8 gigs internal left. It does have a slot for an SD, and it claims to handle up to 2TB. I may have to test that at some point. All and all, I like it. It doesn't have huge amount of bells and whistles, but it has enough for the price. The average user ought to be happy with it.

I bought this phone as a quick replacement when my previous one crapped out via the blue screen of death. So far I like it for its large screen size, light weight and hidden stylus pen (don't really need one, but it's cool to show your friends). Set up was easy. All of the basic tools (alarm, calculator, etc.) are presented in a user friendly manner. I'm still getting used to the power button being located on the rear of the phone. I agree with other reviewers about the device lag (even worse outside in cold weather) and photo graininess in spite of the 13 megapixel rear camera. The stereo sound quality seems a bit lacking and the physical hardware of the phone feels a little cheap, but I don't expect much of a non-high end phone. For the sale price of just over $100.00 and if you are looking for a middle of the road device, this phone is a great value.

This is, by far, the best android phone I've ever owned. The phone is called a Phablet, due to its size. But I don't feel that this phone is overly large. For its size, it's incredibly light and thin. The screen resolution is great, the camera is easy to use and takes quick pics. The phone does come with some bloatware, but it's easy to disable the apps you don't use/need. The memory capacity is adequate, but if you like to load up on apps and take a lot of pics/videos you'll need a decent sized micro SD for storage. Now comes the thing I absolutely love about this phone. It has really good battery life, and the battery itself is removable/replaceable. Most phones now have integrated batteries, which make them impossible to replace if by chance you leave it charging too long and cook it and/or don't season it properly during charging cycles. The in-call sound is very clear. The speaker sound is good. The note-taking app and stylus are very useful. Overall, this phone is the best deal for a quality smart phone.

This is a great all around phone. It has a great looking screen, is very fast and takes good pictures. Hard to beat at this price. Only downside is all the bloatwear virgin puts on their phones but i knew this being a long time virgin mobile user. I just installed the max SD card and have plenty of storage. Great phone for the price and I would recommend it.

The LG Stylus 3 is a great phone: Nice clean screen, powerful, easily upgradable external memory. I got it primarily for the size, as my prior phone was too small for me to see everything very well and long texts were a pain to try and track. The size is a problem when looking for a means to hold it when I'm not using it, but that's not the phone's problem. My one issue with the phone is not with the phone itself, but the lack of documentation. Since this phone relies primarily on Google programming (Chrome, gmail, etc.) it would have been nice to know where to look for key programs, or how to set up my screens, or any number of small tweaks I wanted to employ to make the phone a friendlier platform for me to use. Instead I had to search the web to seek out an owners' manual, something that should have at least been included. Fortunately I found one quickly, but then had to figure out how and where to download it to if I didn't want to keep going to the same web site over and over. Still, this is a minor complaint. As I said, this is a great phone that should hopefully last me as many years as my last LG.

I had the Stylo 2 and loved it so I figured I couldn't go wrong with the Stylo 3 and I was right. It's the perfect size with a great display & nice features that won't break the bank. It works just as fine as more expensive phones I've had in the past. It was a great buy and I would definitely recommend it.

Love this phone! Fast, responsive, easy to use, and has lots of features. Charges super fast and the charge lasts a long time! Never had any problems with it until recently- it takes a lot longer to charge, but I think that may be because the metal parts in the charging port got bent or something. Otherwise its an excellent, reliable phone and I recommend it!

Unlike its predecessors the stylo 3 is a pre paid phone that has excellent processing power. Games run smooth. The stylus is a finer tip and works with higher precision. It is also incorporated into the phone in a much better way, to the point that it is hidden. The camera is fantastic.

4th offense buying prices offers a lot for entertainment purposes the screen being as big as it is it's great for you too or Netflix and salsa great for playing Clash of Clans and games like that performance-wise it's pretty good didn't have any issues on I-10 while having multiple apps opened although I will say that the durability of the phone is pretty fragile I ended up buying a second phone because my first one broke within the matter of 3 days of having it so if you're going to get this phone I would recommend getting a case for it as well that way you're not text paying an extra hundred and forty bucks to replace your phone other than that the phone is pretty great and I'm happy with my purchase

I purchased this for my 13 yr old daughter. She wanted a phone with a stylus, but did not want the responsibility of a super expensive phone like the note 8. This works well with the apps she uses for school and recreation. We have had no problems with the phone at all. The screen size and camera are great.

Only had the LG Stylo 3 for a few days before I upgraded and purchased the LG G5 unlocked also from Best Buy. In short, a very mediocre device, but hey, it's under 200 bucks. Pros - Huge 5.7 inch Screen Built in Stylus Android 7.0 out of the box Battery Life Fingerprint Scanner Cons - Screen is only 720p Seems to slow down after a few days of usage Cameras are very average at best Only 16 gigs of onboard storage Plastic build It's ok if your on Virgin Mobile, it's probably one of their top tier phones besides the iPhone offerings. Just an average device with a big screen and fingerprint scanner.
