    I have had an firewire DVD burner for about 5 years. It is starting fail and was looking at replacing it. The LG meet my requirements and I am happy with my purchase.

    Does what I purchased it for perfectly. My lap top dosen't have a cd reader. I needed to down load some programs. It worked as I needed. Well pleased with results.

    My old dual layer DVD burner stop working so I went looking for a replacement. This LG burner was very reasonably priced and easy to install and use. Seems to be just the solution I was looking for.
