Provides the flexibility we needed

Compatibility

Have not attempted to use other features like Burning CD's, DVD's etc. Problem more likely with my lack of familiarity with new computer and Software than with product.

Easy to use

Bought it because it said the discs would not get ruined easily due to the M Disc writing. All great so far.

Best DVD Player/Recorder I have tried.

I bought this one from Best Buy and wish I had gone there first. It is about the size of a traditional internal drive. It is heavier and slightly bigger than the thin portable drives so it may not be a good fit for you laptop bag but as some new desktops do not include a DVD anymore, it is a perfect addition. The rubber feet grip well and it doesn't slide around. It isn't loud, has a higher speed rating that most. It is just what you would expect for a LG brand.
