very good product ,also the sales person i talked to was very helpful in finding what i needed and where it was at ..LG recorder was an excellent choice for me

a little bulky for me but it does what its intended to do .....it cold be me but this product doesnt auto play...

Instead of buying a brand new computer because my CD/DVD player went out, decided to get one of these. Works great.

This unit does make a noise while loading but nothing too obtrusive. It does what it is supposed to do and haven't had any problems so far.

Worked right out of the box. No issues noted and no complaints. Picked it up on sale, so it was a very good value.

I have had no problems and it has been tested :) for over 2 years. wish I would have picked the one that did blu-ray as well since blu-ray media is more cost effective.

It doesnt record everything. There are certain CDs and DVRs that it does not record due to licences. That may not be helpful to others.

This product does exactly what it is supposed to, allowed me to not have to use the very un-good cd-rom drive that came w/ my computer.

Hated to go this route, but had to as they are taking the disk drives out of computers. Used this to transfer and backup media to my new laptop that has no disk drive.

My Laptop did not have a DVD drive. Could not find my external drive. So I had to buy another one. It is a good drive for the money.

Sometimes the open/close/on/off button does not respond. Though the machine is clearly on and read by computer, the drive will not open.

This dvd burner was bad fail to power up I had to return it back to best buy

Worked great for what was needed. Burn DVD and CD's from Mac Book Air which has no drive to burn.

this is a pretty good dvd drive. i thought i would use it a lot more than i actually do. but whenever i do use it it performs excellently.

I think this is for someone who just wants to get started. I needed this product to do so much more. I had to return the first one because it was not working properly. The things I was burning was skipping and jumping at the end. After exchanging it this one is doing to same thing too. Not going with something like this again. I guess I'll have to pay the big bucks if I was something that wont disappoint.

I can not give a complete review because the unit came with no connecting cables. Such as: Audie/Video Cable and a HDMI. What a disapointment.

Fast CD burner for loading digital music on to CD.

My laptop doesn't have cd capabilities, this fit the bill.

I originally tried to purchase an Apple optical drive, and did so without the clerk telling me that if my machine had installed already a no-functioning optical drive, that it would never work. So I bought another one. That worked for a week. Now it recognizes maybe 25% of the audio or video discs I load. Those not recognized are essentially frisbees. Try it, you'll not like it at all.

I brought this unit so that I can upload DVD / CD content and burn CDs.
