would not interface with my mac properly. tried three times finally worked,freezes up all the time or plays fine for two minutes then slow down and then stalls . tried ccpying five minutes of material, took 35 minutes to create a disk.

I bought a Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A-15ABR Desktop from Best Buy to replace my old eMachines 1331g-03w computer that, although still running, was now close to 9 years old, and quite obsolete, just barely able to run with Windows 10, which I have always liked a lot as an operating system. As I said in my review to Best Buy about this Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A-15ABR Desktop computer I bought, this computer rates five stars. However, like just about all desktop computers being made these days, the DVD/CD drive that comes with the Lenovo computer I bought, is the same type of DVD/CD drive used by most laptops. It is not a tray drive but a tiny drive that uses a spindle on which you snap the DVD or CD in place to run. The first time I used that little drive, which is part of the Lenovo computer I bought, the little door panel popped off. Blessedly nothing was broken; just not snapped into place at the factory. I had already seen that this type of DVD/CD drive is quite flimsy and easy to break. So, I decided to look for an external DVD/CD drive that could be connected to the computer via an USB port. I went to the Best Buy web site to see what DVD/CD external drives are available, and I saw that this LG external DVD/CD drive was the ONLY one Best Buy sells that uses a tray. Best of all, the Best Buy web site said that this LG external DVD/CD drive was available at the Best Buy store from which I had just bought the Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A-15ABR Desktop I spoke of. I had no difficulty hooking up setting up this LG external DVD/CD drive, and everything works fast and flawlessy. DVDs and CDs read, play and are written flawlessly, and the drive acts as if it was made for the Power to Go DVD and CD recording software that came with the computer. I am sold on this LG external DVD/CD drive, and I would give it five stars just because it uses the tray, rather than a spindle for a DVD or a CD. It also looks good sitting on top of that Lenove computer I had just bought.

Bought it to go with 2n1 computer since it doesn't have a dvd/cd player.

Transfer rate to a PC, or another medium, is quick and easy.

As stated it's a fast burning tool. Excellent quality on both CD & DVD.

This worked great as a backup solution till IT could fix the other one.
