I loved this product. My computer build left me having to find an external CD ROM drive so I could install the OS, and this drive was so quite and fast that I didn't even have time to get bored!

My partner bought a Gaming Computer from BEST BUY and it didn't come with CD/DVD player. So we went to best buy and found one that would work on his computer. He loves it and enjoys his music and movies.

It was a good price and it works great. It was easy to set up and the quality was excellent.

It serves my families purpose. I liked that even though they didn't have it in stock at the store, it was still shipped to my home for free.

the LG - Super-Multi 24x External USB 2.0 Double-Layer DVD±/CD-RW Drive is real fast compared to my dell DVD original play and record drive .easy to install plug and play is a no brainier .

Easy setup and works ok, but it is quite large and takes up a lot of space

Purchased for a Mac without a drive to rip my CDs to iTunes. The unit was easy to set-up and and I was using it within minutes. It's not as fast as an internal drive but plenty fast for my needs.

So far, the LG Super-Multi 24X External USB 2.0 dvd/cd-rw drive works like a charm. I haven't used it a ton yet, but so far, so good. The price was certainly reasonable.

This was a short notice replacement for the failure of an internal drive, this is well built, easy to use, literally plug and play and seems to work exactly as advertised.

I purchased this because my DVD unit in my CPU don’t work. I have a small unit but I needed something more powerful. This is a great replacement.

I love that it is plug and play, I have riped about 100 CDs these past few weeks, which was the purpose of purchasing it, and it is working wonderfully.

I enjoy using this cd drive for backing up my daily files and watching movies on my laptop. Good buy for the money.

This paired up seamlessly to my 3 month old iMac. Plug and play - No software or downloads needed. My only complaint is that it runs a little loud.

My dvd writer on my pc just quit working. I did not want to attempt to replace an internal writer. This things thing fits the bill for me. Easy hook up. Works.

I had a program that used to copy on the computer but now with the changes to dual layer it did not work anymore. Adding the external copier was great. Very fast, great quality, glad I added it.

Since the gaming computers of today don't have a CD/DVD writer/reader needed it for all the cd's I have in my collection. Easy setup and use right out of the box

MINE WAS BROKEN SO I PURCHASED THIS SO THAT I COULD BURN DVD'S OF PERSONAL VIDEOS. IT'S A GREAT PRODUCT. IT ACTUALLY WORKS BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS DRIVE THAT I USED ON MY UPC.

I bought this because my old external drive went bad. Very happy with this purchase. It reads and burns just about every type of optical disc currently out, except blu-ray of course.
