What can I say? It does it's job. It cost more that I wanted to pay, but I had no choice since it was the only drive Best Buy had in store and I needed my drive immediately. Simple installation, simple use. Overall good product.

This is my go-to burner and it's also the standard burner for the shop my company buys our pc's from. They work really well, last long and read any disc I throw in it. The only issue is that the packages sometimes don't have any decoding software included.

I needed to replace my terrible HP DVD drive that I bought only 14 months ago and which had taken me on a ride with its elongated death-spiral that lasted from the week I bought it. This LG drive works right from the start and feels solid to me.

Bought this to replace an internal CD-RW drive, and have used it as a cd and dvd burner with good results. I am not a techie, but this was easy to install (good, clear instructions). Nice value and function.

I really like the LG DVD drives. They operate reliably for many years and the cost is very reasonable. I also like purchasing my electronic equipment as Best Buy, as they have always treated me fairly when I have had problems.

Excellent DVD drive. Wished it played Blue Ray also but honestly it is a great drive. The only bad thing is (not even the drives fault) Windows Media Player doesn't support playback from it. I even paid for it and it still doesn't play. Downloaded a free player off the App Store and it works fine. So very happy with the drive.

Bought two so no one will be trying to use mine! Easy to attach!

This LG DVD R/W unit replaced another brand that failed during operation. My research indicated that the LG had a good record of performance. Thus far it has lived up to that reputation.

Had to return first one, tray would not open with disc in using eject or the button. Second one works better but spin up is loud. It is also loud when changing sections on disc during game play. But it is playing smoothly and with no skipping.

Just what I needed to make homemade disc of the grandkids. They love watching themselves and the fin times we had.

very good optical drive .. plug and play with XP .. use included disc only with Win 10 , 8 , 7 . .... quiet and fast .. pictured wrong -- no light scribe ....

Although I don't often need a DVD drive anymore, when I do I want one that is fast and quiet. This one fits the bill. It has good write speed as well but it is dependent on the disc you use. Overall very good drive.

It's not often you can get a really good product for a very affordable price. This burner has been so reliable that I installed a second to be able to do an extra step in home production instead of having to job out to a vendor.

So far so good. Easy to install. Only issue I have is when I start up my computer I always get a pop up asking if i want to allow the updater for the dvd drive to make changes to my computer.

Very good bang for the buck. Just replaced my LG Blueray player in my computer for this because I never watched Bluerays on my computer anyway. very fast drive works fine and is pretty quite while spinning up. No complaints.

Happy with this optical drive. Just added this to a new PC build which was needed for reading some of the driver disk installs. Product installation was straight forward and simple.

I purchased two of these on sale for a computer I was building . They are solid dependable drives for I have used them in previous builds and have never had a drive fail.

Used this drive to replace a defective one. This unit was the same form fit and function of the old one and worked perfectly in the machine.would definitely purchase again.
