Great inexpensive drive

Had several of these over the years, and they're still as reliable as ever. You can find them cheaper in online warehouses, but for an immediate need, they're great.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It had a lightscribe photo on webpage and still to this day almost A YEAR later, it still does AFTER I brought it to BB attention. I thought I would be getting that feature, replacing my existing LS DVD drive, but I didn't. THIS IS NOT A LIGHTSCRIBE FEATURED DVD player ignore that logo on the photo. There, now YOU know. So, I am back to sharpies to mark and label my supply of perfectly good LightScribe media, but at least it burns well, quickly, and consistently. It is also considerably quieter than my old Lite-On DVD burner drive. 4 Stars only, because of the lack of truth, in their website advertising. FIX the photo folks.

Cheap optical drive, easy install.

Easy install.

Didn't have to load a driver for it it was plug and play. As soon as it was installed I was able to use it. I t functions well and is reseanobly quite. I do not know how durable it will be but LG is a good brand so I am hopeful.

Desktop burner DVD drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.CD and DVD burning is a little dated, I know, but you still need these drives sometimes. Like when your machine crashes and you have to reinstall Windows, and/or install older programs that came on CDs or DVDs. Lots of programs are going to online/subscriptions, but we still need these pieces of hardware. This one is solid, good price and quiet when burning. Highly recommended.
