If you are still a dinosaur like me and need to have a DVD drive in your system, then this is a good performer at a decent price. In retrospect, go for an external that you can move around. Most new cases do not even have slots for internal DVD drives.

This is a basic DVD multi-disc burner. It is perfect if you are looking to add a drive to any existing system. Simple to install. No need for complicated driver configuration. Just plug it in via the SATA power and data connectors and you are good to go!

Writes fast and is very affordable. Lightweight and tough!

I haven't purchased a DVD drive in forever. This one is very quiet, and mounted quite flush with the computer case.

Product does what it was suppose to do. I mainly used it for watching DVDs and listening to music. I was excited to get it and get started with my Mac computer. Set up was easy and was ready to use shortly after plugging it in.

Simple plug replacement, pulled the drive caddy, removed cables from old drive, inserted new drive into caddy, attached cables. Drive worked first time. Have cut about 100 DVDs successfully with no failures.

I especially like that this drive doesn’t have a separate cover that lifts up prior to the disk tray sliding out. Just one less mechanical part that can go wrong. The drive is also very fast and quiet.

I purchased an external DVD player for my new HP . the first one arrived at my door= wrong thing ( it was an internal drive). But they quickly made the return and assisted me when I realized that they credited it back onto a gift card ( which my husband had cut up!!!) I am very happy with my new external DVD player and with Best Buy, thank you , Sandy ( the manager!!)

This dvd read can read M-Disk dvd but not blue ray. The reader is extremely quite and loads the disks faster then any other dvd drive I ever use.

I custom built my brother a computer and I thought that this dvd drive was the best and it was. I installed it and burn music off it and works great.

I use the disc drive a lot and when my old one died, this one fit great easy to install and works as expected no glitches. Completely satisfied with everything including the price.

This LG, Multi 24x DVD+ Internal DVD+RW/CD-RW Drive, is as good as you can get, for your PC. The previous player/burner was also an LG make, and I wore the heck out of it. This unit is worth every penny you spend, and will give you an honest and a very finished product. Installation was fairly simple, as all you will need is a Phillips and a flat screwdriver and some agile fingers. Remember to clean out the box, as dust does collect pretty quickly inside.

Easy to use, good quality, does what it's supposed to do. For the price it's a good value Only wish I'd gotten the BD version.

Easy install, took me longer to open the box than to get it working. Great price, very happy with the results. So much so that I went and got a Blue Ray burner from LG also.
