These ear buds are awesome. Overall they are the best earbuds I've used. The battery life is great and lasts me most of a work day. The fit is very comfortable and comes with a few extra sized ear pieces but the stock ones fit perfectly. They don't have any pressure points that make my ear sore after hours of use which is nice. The noise cancelling works well and the voice pickup seems to actually help with phone calls. I honestly thought that would be mostly marketing hype but I work in loud environments often and people on the other end of the call say they can hear me more clearly than with any of my other earbuds. The noise cancelling on these does also seem to knock out more of the noise around me than other earbuds also, and my most used other set is now a couple years old but cost noticeably more than these when new. The sound quality of these is great. Phone calls are clear and music is crisp and clean. The bass hits much harder than I expected and the apps ability to adjust equalizer settings is very nice. The atmos and head tracking works pretty well and is a cool feature that gives these an extra option for watching movies and things. The one weakness is the app though. It doesn't always load right and doesn't always track well with battery life and other things. The problem might be on my end though since my phone is older and still running Android 8. It might work fine with newer versions and if it does the options and settings are great. The case is conveniently sized and textured. I like the ability to play wired connections through the case. That's a cool feature and I could see it being handy. The UV cleaning is an interesting addition and I'm not sure if it will make a difference but I probably can't hurt. Overall I would highly recommend these as they are great earbuds at a good price.

These have more features than most other wireless earbuds on the market but the sound quality is simply lacking when it comes to upper midrange and treble detail. I really wanted to love them but just couldnt do it. At this price I would recommend anker liberty 4nc

    A New Way to Listen

Sound allows us to escape. Listening to music or watching a movie/series where the sound amplifies the experience. For me, when I’m running, or on my skateboard, being able to listen to my music is VERY important. I can fully endorse the LG Tone T90Q wireless earbuds. Customize Your Experience: Once you easily unpack and set up your earbuds, you have an abundance of customization at your fingertips via the LG Tone app. You can program how your touch affects pausing or skipping tracks. If you don’t like tapping 3x to skip a track, you can set it so that it changes the volume instead. There’s a lot to mix and match when it comes to your personal preferences. You’re allotted two Custom setting saves. A New Way to Listen: I’m used to having equalizer options when it comes to earbuds such as Treble Boost and Bass Boost. However, LG offers Immersive which gives a sense of expanded space. And there’s Natural which is meant for all types of music. Now, if you’re using these earbuds to enjoy a movie or series then you’re going to want to use the 3D Sound Stage feature. When I break in a new sound device, whether a soundbar or earbuds, I have a couple of movies that I use as a litmus test; The Batman or any of the John Wick films since they utilize Dolby Atmos to their fullest. Using the LG T90Q is the closest you can get to a portable movie theater sound experience. I even watched The Last of Us (the HBO series) and I was impressed at the littlest details I was able to hear. But here’s where these earbuds REALLY kick into gear, the Dolby Head Tracking+ Virtual Sound feature is truly remarkable! The earbuds track your head motion and re-calibrate the sound to give you a natural experience. So, the sound will be ‘in front’ of you when you are looking forward but when you turn your head left or right, the majority of the sound will shift. Turn your head to the left, and the sound will be in your right ear as if you’re in the actual room or area where it’s taking place in. You have to hear it to understand it. Noise Cancelling Options: The LG earbuds offer Ambient Sound which allows you to hear traffic and other alerting sounds that you’ll want to hear if you're outdoors. But there is another option in the Ambient Sound feature which is Conversation mode. Too many times with my previous earbuds, I would have to pull them out to have a conversation that would arise. But with the Conversation mode, I don’t have to pull them out because this mode allows me to hear a voice freely without it being ‘muffled’. Noise Cancelling does what it says, it cancels out those surrounding sounds and allows you to dive into your music or entertainment. Don’t Get Lost: A feature that I didn’t expect to find with these earbuds is the Find My Earbuds. Through the app, you can activate this feature in case you lost one or both earbuds. I test this out and the earbuds chirp loudly, allowing you to locate them. Talk: I tested these LG earbuds with my phone. I could be heard clearly with traffic around me. Keep It Clean: The T90Q cleans your earbuds while charging using UV nano tech to kill bacteria on the speaker mesh. This is a feature that I like knowing is there. Earbuds can get dirty and we can wipe them down but knowing this UV is focused on the tiny mesh is just cool to know. Wireless Charging: Finally, you can charge these earbuds wireless in their case. You are not required to plug them into a USB port, you can simply place them on your wireless charging deck and not worry about it. LG makes some fantastic products like TVs and refrigerators and now I can add earbuds to that list.

Great earphones, better than the competition

After taking a couple flights and using these for a few movies, these LG Tone earphones really do just about everything well. The standout features that bring it home are the Atmos sound and the ability to plug into just about anything and use the charging case as a transceiver. Lastly, the UV cleaning is great. I didn’t take many calls with the earphones, and only used the right one for calls. I don’t like both for calls any time. I watched a couple movies from my iPad and on the plane. The noise cancellation was decent for the flight, but the sound quality changed a little with NC on during the flight compared to in a quiet location. I’m not sure if it’s enough to make it a consideration of how great these are. The wireless charging case is easy to use. I used the base of a charger I have that charges a phone on the magnetic stand and earphone case below via wireless for the competition’s earphones. The case and earphones charged in short order and lasted a few days of on/off charging I think these worked well enough that I may buy more and give them as gifts for people I know that are still using wired buds.

LG tone-free t90q Dolby Atmos with Dolby head tracking is LG's latest buds, and they are great. I've been a fan of LG tone for a while, but they have really up the bar with these earbuds. The Dolby Atmos is clear and game-changing with the head tracking technology. So if you're watching a clip, you can look around, and the audio adjusts to your head position. And the Incorporated Audio Virtualizer immerses you in the audio. They also added Clear Chat that senses your voice, making the levels comfortable on both ends of the conversation using a voice pickup unit or VPU. I have to mention they've also included UV nano Plus, which kills bacteria from the day's usage, a fantastic feature. The case is also compatible with wireless charging, which is very cool. I use the non-stop all day, and I'm out primarily for about 12 hours, and I was good. So that you are good at the gym, on the go traveling, gaming, or whatever you want to do, you have to check these out.

I love love love these headphone! The sound has been really great and they fit extremely comfortably. I did change out the co.fort pads for the smaller ones and they fit perfect. I also really love that you can use these as a Bluetooth receiver. I recently used them on a trip with my kids. We have a portable DVD player. I was able to plug it in to one of the players and listen to the movie while my kid was asleep. It works flawlessly with no lag. The sound was the same with the headphones as it was from the speaker. I love how you just plug it in , flip a switch and you are hooked up. I also like the charging light on the front, this makes it easy to see when you need to plug them in. Connecting the LG headphones to my phone was also a breeze. A simple message popped up, I signed in with my email and they were connected. No crazy buttons to push or hold. I'm interested to see how the UV does in disaffecting the earbuds. It's not something you can see, but definitely something that is needed!

Wireless Earbuds with an interesting feature set

LG has designed an interesting set of wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) and spatial audio provided by Dolby. Dolby Atmos with Dolby Head Tracking, the head tracking feature takes a bit to get used to, although you can turn it off if desired. When moving your head, it changes the sound field to that direction, recentering it after about 5 to 7 seconds. If you use them with Spatial content the experience is a bit surreal, but either way it yields an aural experience that is a bit different. The ANC is also pretty effective, suppressing the usual sources like fans and air filtration equipment, I also wore them on a flight this past weekend and again found them to do a good job.. In general the LG Tone Free T90Q wireless earbuds provide an immersive listening experience, I found them to be excellent when watching movies, listening to music and decent when using them for phone calls, although the microphones seem like they could do a better job. The also sound clear and tend to have a bias on the bass side of the sound spectrum. The hardware is very similar to Apple Airpods Pro, including touch sensitive tips for controlling the earbuds and connected devices. What is unique is the case the earbuds come in, not only do they charge them (along with additional charging capacity) they earbuds also have a built in UV light to disinfect the earbuds when docked, LG claims they will eliminate 99+ percent of bacteria, can’t measure the effectiveness but seems to be something that is somewhat useful. The base is able to be charged wirelessly and adds about twenty additional hours of capacity. Battery life for the earbuds is claimed to be around nine hours with ANC off, I got about 6 hours of battery life with ANC on, your results will vary. The unit also has a USB-C to 3.5 jack, which can be used to pipe in audio from other devices and then be transmitted from the base to the earbuds, a good feature for those situations where you have to “plug in”. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 and can use a few different codecs (SBC, AAC, and aptX) depending on device you are connecting to. I used the iOS version of the LG Tone Free mobile app, which does a number of things to control your earbuds including different Meridian (audio and home theatre equipment manufacturer from the UK) EQ settings, the ability to turn Dolby Head tracking on/off, the ANC modes (off/on and Ambient Sound). You can also turn on/off the UV function in the case as well as updating the firmware. Pros: - Connectivity flexibility - Bass response - Case w/UV earbud disinfection - Dolby Atmos/Dolby Head tracking - Good mobile app to support the features Cons: - Dolby Head tracking is a bit gimmicky, but can be turned off.

So I have been on the hunt lately for a new set of in-ear earbuds over the last couple of months due to dropping my current-aging earbuds on the driveway while getting out the car. Then these LG TONE Free T90Q True Wireless In-Ear Earbuds came along and I just had to give these a try. Now I have been using these earbuds primarily as my daily driver over the last week now, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with LG. They are coming out swinging with a lot of products lately and that includes these amazing earbuds. Upon opening the box you will find: * LG TONE Free T90Q True Wireless In-Ear Earbuds * UVnano Charging Case * Extra EarTips * USB-C to Aux Cable * USB-C Charging/Data Cable * User Manual Something that I almost never do when I get a new product is to fully charge it first. But I did with these, I wanted the first time to be special, LOL!!! So after these bad boys were charged up, they were ready to fire up. But you will need to download the LG TONE Free app from the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android. I fired up Apple Music on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and loaded up my current favorite album and was immediately blown away by the sound quality and the clarity of these earbuds. Everything just sounded perfect. And with using the TONE Free app, I was able to tweak my music to my liking using the LG x MERIDIAN Equalizer Settings. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking + Virtual Sound is simply amazing. You can hear the music move with your head movements. These earbuds also feature Noise Cancelling which can be turned on or off via the app or by using touch on the outside of the earbud. Another great feature within the app is the ability to update the earbuds firmware and you will be notified when a firmware update is available. I love that the earbuds work independent of one another, unlike some other brands that shall remain nameless where you have to have both earbuds in your ears for the music to play. Phone calls were also amazing. People have asked me, what earbuds are you using because, I can hear you so clearly now and everything around you. And I tell them my new earbuds are by LG and that they need to go and get a pair ASAP. Another thing that I love about these earbuds is the fact that you can use the USB-C to Aux Cable to plug into a device that isn't bluetooth compatible and play your music through the earbuds that way via the charging case. I have a feeling these will most definitely give other more expensive brands a run for their money with the amount of features that LG has packed into such a small form factor. One other thing, I almost forgot to mention is that LG also put UVnano in the charging case to help keep them bacteria and germ free with ultraviolet light. The only way to know is to just go ahead pickup a pair of these. I guarantee you will like them as much as I do.
