Easy to use. I like the speaker feature. I love so I can talk and drive safely. I also use when I'm working at my office for hands free talking.

I like my headphones very much. People on the other end of the conversation tell me they can hear me clearly - and without a lot of background noise, unlike all the other wired and bluetooth sets I have used before. My office IT tech recommended this LG product. He has two, so he won't have to go without just in case one breaks.

The best headphones LG made as far as I'm concerned, 1 flaw , the case should have been close to if not military grade, today needs military grade, not flashy ,cheap , plastic, other than that, these should be the standard 4 LG headphones, I'm telling you, I know what I'm saying

The HBS A80 are wayyy better. Better stereo battery. Retractable cord is much better even the neck fitting is better.

I purchased this headset to use at work. Under normal circumstances, I can only use one side at a time and the environment is noisy, so that is definitely a consideration. The sound isolation is pretty respectable when the earpieces are fitted in the ear snugly. The earpieces sometimes slip out, but never fall out completely; it comes with a few sizes of earpieces so I am trying new ones to see if that solves the problem. Even when they are only partway in, I can generally hear them well enough, but because I mostly listen to classical music and soundtracks at work, I have to have the volume near or at maximum. The sound quality is fairly well-balanced and clear. It might not be quite rich enough for the true audiophile, but if you just want to listen to something while you are at work or chilling in the library, or trying to drown out a noisy public place, it is perfectly sufficient. If you need to use it with only one earpiece in like I do, note that, at higher volumes, the music can be heard outside of it, which could be distracting to others if you are in a quiet place. Note that it has a built-in speaker, but the speaker is not very loud and is only located on the right side of the headset. The speaker also drains the battery faster, but even so, the battery life is pretty good and should get most people through their workday (if that is the intention). The headset also has a microphone. I have not listened to the audio coming out on the other side, but I have been able to talk on the phone in noisy environments without the person on the other side complaining about the noise, so it is up to my standards, at least. I can talk fairly quietly and it still picks me up enough for the other end to hear me. As far as comfort is concerned, I barely notice it when wearing it all day. In fact, sometimes I forget to take it off when I get home. If I run or jump, though, it bounces on my collarbones, which leads me to believe it was really not meant to be used during physical activity (luckily, I have another headset that was). I sometimes carry a messenger bag and the strap slides underneath it, which can cause problems with it trying to come off your neck when taking the bag off your shoulder. The wires leading to the earpieces are really thin. I have not had problems with it, but I advise against tugging on them too hard, just in case. They retract easily when tugged gently. The wires are long enough to reach my ears and barely any longer--again, not likely designed for use during physical exercise as this can cause them to get tugged out when the unit bounces around. The unit has several controls, which can be rather useful. It has a separate button for starting/pausing music playback and answering calls (which mercifully triggers voice commands when accidentally pressed instead of calling someone), as well as volume controls, forward/rewind, and physical switches for power and switching between earpieces and speaker (which it does seamlessly). Overall, this is a pretty good headset. I might debate that the standard price point is a touch high, but it was an excellent deal when on sale. When I am not sitting at my computer or out for a run, this is my absolute preferred headset.

Ive been using bluetooth headsets almost since their inception. Both mono and stereo. My favorites in recent years have been the LG Tone series. This headset is very comfortable...so much so that you forget you are wearing it. The sound quality is great. So is the design/egonomics. This pair in particular benefits from having a built-in mono speaker in case you would like to share what you are listening to without taking it off. Having dedicated buttons for both music and calls makes it a breeze to do exactly what you want when you want without confusion or mistakes. The battery life easily gets me through an entire work day and I am listening to whole Youtube podcasts/videos. The retractable attached earbuds guarantee you will NOT lose them and they are NEVER in your way when not in use. Some of the newer versions of this series only has one set of buttons for EVERYTHING which I do NOT like. So if you are looking for a quality comfortable bluetooth headset, then look no further.

I have owed at least 5 different type of BT headsets for my phone. I send a lot of time each day on the phone, so couple things that are important. 1. Noise cancelling. Without noise cancellation, a headset is not worth a dime. this one has great noise cancellation. If you want to test yours, call someone and then shuffle papers, or run water, cook something that sizzles. things that are in the vocal frequency range. if they hear a lot of noise. then the headset doesn't work very good. This headset lets very little and only loudest of the background noise through. 2. battery life. - I have gone a week after a good charge on this headset without recharging. I am sure you could talk 12 hrs in a day on it no problem. 3. Comfort. Who wants a device attached to your ear all day. When I used ear mounted BT devices, they would make my ear hurt. They were always in my ear so i blocked my normal hearing. The behind the neck with retractable earbuds has been the best overall device so far. I had the non retractable LG before, but the wires would eventually get caught in something. Overall, Great headset.

They have great sound quality and the actual buds are a comfortable fit in the ear. The quality of how they are made is strong and durable. I use them at the gym regularly and my boyfriend uses his own pair for his labor intensive job without any issues. Since he owns a business he needs to be answering calls alllll day while working and this makes it easy for him. They are easy to use and it’s his first pair that he hasn’t lost so quickly because of the shape and weight of them. They stay around his neck much better than most others. I would definitely get these again in the future!

I've been using LG bluetooth products for many years and the 800 series has always been my go to. I noticed that this is the updated version with speakers added. Connection is simple but for some reason range is not as good as previous versions. I use more than one type of Bluetooth products and have not experienced the constant disconnecting/reconnecting with anything but this earpiece. I could have both my phones (Android and iOS) connected with no issue and as soon as I put my phones in my bag over my shoulder it disconnects. Only had it a little over two weeks so I will not dismiss it completely. Calls and audio are clear and haven't gotten any complaints about mic from others. Retractable ear buds are great as always. Also for long time use the earpiece is very comfortable with long battery life.

My husband works in a very physically demanding job and he needs to be connected to his phone. For years, he used wired Apple headphones which got in the way, made working unsafe and were just an all-around pain. While I was out shopping at Best Buy one day, he asked me to look at wireless headphones for him. The only request he had was that the earbuds be shaped like Apple earbuds which these are obviously not. After much grumbling and finding the correct earbud size for him, I got him to try them out for a few days to see if he could get used to the feel of the new earbuds. That was 8 months and 3 pairs of headphones ago (he's had me pick up 2 extra sets of the headphones to have on hand so he'll never be without his LG 820Ss) He does commercial AC work which means he can find himself in a lot of unusual places over the course of a day and he's never had a customer or coworker say they could not understand him. He loves the clear, crisp sound they give whether he's using them for phone calls or listening to his heavy metal music. His exact words to me were, "These headphones have changed my life!" It's very nice when what seems to be such a small thing, impacts the quality of your life so much, and LG has certainly done that with these headphones. Recently, our son, who had the same adversion to the earbud shape as his father, was looking for a pair of wireless headphones with a good mic. He was very impressed with the sound quality of the 820S and has now taken over my set of LG's. Looks like I'm off to Best Buy to get another pair again!

These bluetooth headphones are by far the best Ive ever owned and used. I would highly recommend. I absolutely love the retractable ear buds are they are sooo convenient to use especially as I work in the construction industry and they make it east to just take on and off without worrying about losing an earbud. The sound quality is superb and the battery life is quite well long lasting too. Again, I would definitely recommend!

This Bluetooth HBS820S replaced my HBS770 which worked well for a little over a year until the left speaker stopped working. I purchased this particular model based on the cost factor, recommendation from the salesperson who stated the JBL sound was an improvement, and I like the retractable earphones. I'm a little disappointed, although it has a great the sound system, the volume is not as high as my previous Bluetooth. I use the smallest ear pads provided and the noise cancellation feature is about 80% for me. Finally, the retractable feature worked by having to pull on the wire instead of pushing a button and I'm concerned this method will eventually cause too much wear on the ear bud wiring. I'm glad I purchased the two year extended replacement warranty.

Very pleased with headphones....Great battery life. However, not very satisfied with the volume level. I had cheaper headphones of the same style where the volume was much much louder; the sound quality is great so I can accept the volume being not so great.

I bout the Beats and quickly learned they were over priced for the sound quality. They were returned and I bought these LG’s instead. Great sound, great bass and long lasting battery. Only complaint is I would like a little louder volume.

Purchased after owning a cheaper pair of around the neck earbuds. I was wanting something with long battery life, able to connect to 2 devices at once, and great sound quality. I am impressed with the battery life. After the initial charge I used it for a full 4 or 5 days before they completely died. The audio sound is impressive and earbuds that were on the device out the box fit my ears perfectly. Was easy to connect to both my devices. I do not think they are great for phone calls unless you are in a really quiet environment. Others I’m talking to can hear background noises and clarity is not the best.

I was shocked at how much bass there is when you insert the bud properly into your ear. Clear sound. Reliable. Great battery life. I’ve had them over a year now. They are tuff. I’ve put them through heck. I’m impressed. If they ever give up the ghosts, I’ll buy another set. Wow what great product.
