I always turned away from these type of headsets because I thought they looked a bit silly. But after losing 2 expensive headsets that just hung around your neck, I decided to give these a try. Originally, I purchased a different brand, but it had issues staying connected, so I returned and got these. These have worked great without too many issues. The sound is crisp and clear and the person on the other side can hear me without too much background noise. The only issue is that when I walk too far away from my phone it will disconnect, but when I get back in range it doesn't always re-connect. But that's far and few few between and the overall performance is more than adequate.

Love the fact that it was lightweight and had quality sound. Earbuds get uncomfortable if worn too long. Also can slip off neck if not careful. Slept with them on a lot too!

I use my headset daily, and the battery lasts all day even when listening to music and making frequent phone calls. Sound quality is great, and I have had zero issues with the retractable earbud cables. I tried the external speaker once on a whim, and it would work in a pinch if there were no other BT speakers available. Overall a great product.

Overall they work good, but volume sometimes is low, cannot hear too well, may not be related to the product itself. Somehow pricey but they discontinued the previous version with a lower cost.

Great sound and comfort. Battery lasts all day and beyond.

Great sound, lightweight, fits in ear without slipping

This is my 3rd set of LG Tones. First 2 were Tone Ultra 810's. The first set last almost a year under heavy use. Eventually the left earpiece quit working and battery was holding less charge. I always add the Geek Squad warranty to my headsets as they always resolve my issues at no cost no questions asked straight up swap out for new. The 2nd pair almost 6months and the left earpiece quit working. After that I decided to step up to the new 820S and am glad I did. Even with heavy use I get 2 days charge and clearer voice on calls and much better Stereo sound. More and clearer bass and clearer miss and highs. I hope they hold up for the long haul but if there is a problem I have no worries that Geek Squad will get me back on the road quickly! BESTBUY ROCKS!

Comfortable, great earbuds, retractable ear buds fantastic,battery long lasting, only improvement I can mention is volume is not loud enough.

I stopped using LG Tones for a few generations due to my platinum ones breaking after 6 months but I decided to try again. I'm glad I did. These headphones work wonderfully! They even have a speaker on the side which is pretty cool as well. Battery is superb. Glad I went back.

My go-to blue tooth headset was the LG HBS-820 Tone Ultra. After one of the ear buds quit working, I wanted to simply purchase a new pair. The 820S was the "upgrade", the 820 was no longer available directly. What I liked - the controls were a little more though out in their placement. An external speaker with a simple on-off switch was added. With my older set, I would have to turn it off or change audio source if I wanted to share a song or sound bite with someone. Really, there was only one con, but it's a doozy. With the older H20 (I've had several pair of the years), the battery life was amazing. On one charge, they lasted 2 days of heavy use. The newer H20S will simply not last one day of very light use. Compared to other headsets (non-LG), the battery life is about average. But being the successor to the H20, I would expect at least similar battery life. Not so. The battery was draining so fast, I actually created a repair order through LG, sent them in, only to have them sent back "no defect found". In other words, battery life has suffered (size?) for the placement and addition of new features, which almost, for my purposes, makes them unusable. I'm constantly using my headset, for calls or listening to long lectures and other study material during my long commutes, and having to stop at inconvenient times to charge the set some to continue using is almost a show stopper. Concept is great, but the much degraded battery life has me searching for outlets that still carry the older model.

Amazing sound quality and really like the speaker function vs using the buds - but the range isn't the best. Don't really get a good 30 feet from the source before losing connection to phone/ipad. Other than that - it's great.

Extremely durable and amazing quality bluetooth headphones. Great for construction and would highly recommend.

I tried these in a somewhat loud noise area. They were very comfortable, but they just did not get loud enough.

I use these almost every day at work for music and for conference calls. The battery life is awesome, I only find myself charging them every couple of days with heavy multi hour use. Sound quality is very good for the price.

Overall, these headphones are a good product for the value. The concern is the ultra thin cords that connect the ear buds. I can see that they will likely incur some damage over time. Definitely recommend the protection plan. Would also like an ANC option. Great sound and clarity. May also recommend a better placement of microphones, as it seems the current design can be muffled in frequently placed positions. I like the product, overall, though.

Purchased this Bluetooth for my husband. He was buying cheap ones that would tear up in a month. in the long run he can save money by investing in a well built bluetooth unit. These sound great as well. Good product.

Nice Bluetooth good sound will be getting one for my husband. Wish ear buds went in quicker.

I brought the LG - TONE ULTRA+ HBS-820S Wireless In-Ear Behind-the-Neck Headphones for my wife. She loves the earphones. She said they fit comfortably around her neck and sound crystal clear. Great earphones!!!
