Even though the earbud sound is good, I don't like wearing earbuds, and certainly not while driving. The sound volume & quality from the external speakers is very poor, actually worthless. And I was testing them in my quiet kitchen, not in the car with road noise. I had hoped for a lot more from a set valued at more than $100.
