I love my dishwasher. It was a big step up from what came with the house when I bought it. It looks fantastic, it's super quiet, ridiculously easy to use, and gets my dishes really clean. My only gripe is the overhead rack. It could use some improvements and wish it had a little more room. But other than that, it's a great dishwasher and I'd definitely recommend it.

I updated my kitchen .All my appliances were over 40 years old! Really. This was my last purchase and now my kitchen is beautiful and everything matches. This dishwasher is so quiet and cleans very good even on the shortest cycle.

Extremely quiet - Potential handle interference

An extremely quiet dishwasher. Nice style and overall design. As others have mentioned, it does take some thought with respect to loading. While our plates do work fine, it has been somewhat of a challenge for our bowls on the upper rack. The tine spacing could have been a little larger perhaps to help. So far not experiencing the problems with tines falling over that others have mentioned, but our dishes (at least the normal ones) aren't very heavy. BUT, something to watch out for - I remember seeing a posting regarding someone having a problem with handle clearance on the door. Didn't quite understand the issue until enountering it myself. If your dishwaster is on the end near a 90 degree angle for additional cabinetry (L-shape) and you have a drawer on the cabinet that is on the other side of the "L", then there is a good chance that the dishwasher handle will interfere with trying to open the cabinet drawer. Not happy about that. So if you have that configuration, you might want to get a style without a front handle on it. We have swapped the contents of that drawer - used to be our heaviest used drawer. You can still open the drawer if you open the dishwaster first, but not something you normally would do. The cycle times are much longer than our previous Bosch ones - even the quick and dry setting runs much longer than some competitors. So far cleaning has been very good and as mentioned quiet. As mentioned, there is not a heated dry cycle, so you may have some differing experience due to that, but we rarely used on our former dishwasher. I would recommend this product - but watch out for handle clearance if you have an L-shape length of cabinets right next to dishwasher.

Decent, but not fantastic cleaning. Items placed in 3rd rack don’t get that clean. Steam feature doesn’t really do much, from what we have noticed.....save yourself a few hundred dollars & buy the version that doesn’t have the steam feature. Loading has been confusing, even with the manual, though we seem to be figuring it out now after almost 2 months. Using jet dry on a regular basis does aid in drying, however that is with the extended drying cycle which causes the full cycle to take just under 4 (yes, FOUR) hours. Bottom line, we miss our old dishwasher.....they just don’t make them like they used to! Pros: super quiet, holds a lot, cleans fairly well Cons: doesn’t really dry things well, extremely long cycle

My wife wanted Black Stainless so that limited the choices of dishwashers we could choose from. Everyone I talked to said the LG was better than Samsung so we bought this model. It is extremely quiet and does a good job cleaning the dishes. The downside is that the controls are on the upper part of the door so when you close it the display is no longer visible under the counter top. You have 4 little leds on the front to tell you what the dishwasher cycle is but that's it. My biggest gripe is the quality of the racks and spacing. The upper rack has two wider rows around three smaller rows. Bottom line is that unless you have small glasses these rows become somewhat useless. The bottom rack has tons of adjustability but the because of the way the base is made the plates automatically roll into the valleys of the rack. Because the valleys are too close it doesn't matter how you adjust the fingers the plates hit each other on the side. These are Standard size plates nothing special. Bottom line is my old Whirlpool dishwasher held more dishes but it was four times as noisy and didn't clean the dishes as well. So if you don't mind running the dishwasher a little more often due to the capacity this is a great dishwasher.

We purchased this dishwasher after hours and hours of research and wanting the black stainless look combined with great quality and energy efficiency. We compared this and the Samsung and it was hands down the LG. If Bosch made black stainless finish it would have won by a landslide, but the LG has not disappointed one bit. I just use the "auto" feature on every full load and it does the rest. We have yet to use heated drying and a few plastics need to go on the drying rack or be wiped, but otherwise everything has been clean and spotless and dry without extra heat. The quiet level of our previous GE was remarkable but this is just spooky quiet and plays a happy song at the end of the cycle. Too bad doing dishes is still a lame job no matter what! This is a great purchase and will improve your kitchen style. No more stainless steel drones for us!

This was my first LG appliance. This dishwasher has been perfect. It does a great job cleaning the dishes, is easy to use, and is nice and quiet. I ended up buying all new LG appliances for the kitchen since. As I’m filling this out, I realize I have had this for 2 years now, and it has worked great!

Love this dishwasher. This thing is very quiet so you can run it at night and you won't here it. Cleans very well, but can leave some dishes a little wet sometimes, but not always. I have hard water so always use the heavy setting. Never leaves streaks or water spots.

This dishwasher does a great job. The adjustable racks are handy and it is so easy to load. The one drawback is the length of time it takes for a cycle, but it is so quiet that one doesn't know it's on.

A+ appliance. Quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes without spots. Love the adjustable and third top rack for knives and oversize utencils. Black stainless is beautiful and easy to clean, does not show fingerprints like regular stainless.

The dishwasher is easy to use and is huge for its size. Compared to the GE that this one replaced, we can fit more dishes in the LG. (I know because we had to run it early due to running out of plates, bowls, etc). This model LG gets everything dryer and is super quiet. It has lights that flash during the wash cycle so you can see the progress (which has been about 2-3 hours from what I've seen). The third rack is extremely handy, as well as the adjustable rack. My wife and I love this dishwasher.

WE UPGRADED OUR DISHWASHER FROM AN OLDER GE. SO FAR WE LOVE THIS NEW ONE. IT IS VERY QUIET AND CLEANS VERY WELL. I WONDERED IF IT WAS ACTUALLY BLACK STAINLESS STEEL SO I TRIED STICKING A MAGNET TO IT. THE MAGNET DID STICK, WHICH IT SHOULDN'T TO STAINLESS STEEL. NOT A BIG DEAL. THE TUB IS STAINLESS WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT.

Things you will like about this dishwasher: 1. It is very, very quiet. The first time we used it, I opened it several times to see if it was running! 2. The third rack, which is at the very top, is very convenient. It is quite shallow, but nice for spatulas, extra silverware, Tupperware lids, etc. 3. It is so versatile. There are tines that can be raised or lowered to accommodate differently shaped/sized dishes and cookware. 4. It is so much deeper and larger capacity than our 18 year old dishwasher we replaced, so we don't have to run it as often. Maybe they are all made like this these days, so I'm not sure if this is a perk for this specific dishwasher. I have just one very minor complaint about the dishwasher. When pulling out the bottom rack, sometimes it comes off of the track. It has what might be considered guide rails that the rack wheels rest on, but is held on to the rails by gravity, really. I'm sure there was a reason why they designed it this way, whether it was to make it convenient to lift the rack out (why?) or save an extra 1/2 inch or so on the sides for larger capacity. For whatever reason, getting the rack back in place takes 5-10 seconds, so it's not awful, but just a bit annoying. It is definitely something that wouldn't have deterred us from buying this dishwasher, as it works so well and has so many great features.
