it is quiet on working and energy saving machine and i am very happy to have it. will recommend this to my friends.

I am remodeling my kitchen and I bought my appliances after a lot of research. I came to the conclusion that Samsung, LG or GE it doesn't matter. GE seemed to have cooler things that there products did but the novelty would fade so I ignored this. The best deal I could find was LG at Costco and Best Buy matched and beat that deal. Now for the problems. I will stick to the dishwasher since that is what this review is for but I will never buy LG again since I had problems with 3 out of 4 of the appliances I purchased. The dishwasher was put in about a month and half after I purchaced it. about half of that month was waiting to get it delivered. I was in know hurry since I had one and was remodeling anyway but it still counted against me. When it was professionally installed it worked the guy ran it and I used it at least twice and was moderately impressed by the quietness but I did still hear it and I guess I wasn't hearing it but the water draining from the machince. So It would get a 5 Stare on quietness. But since I am used to rinsing my dishes clean I hadn't used the steam cycle and I was ready to do that so I left the dishes kinda dirty and set it for heavy duty steam 1/2 load bottom. That was all it could take. Before it was done it was pouring hot water into itself for a day in tell I figured it out that it was doing so. I notice it was doing something and there were blinking lights but it is new and I don't know what its supposed to do or not supposed to do yet and I was headed for work, but I did open it just to see if the steam cycle worked or not and they dishes were not that clean. When I got home from work is when I realized it still seems like its running and water is pouring into it. I read to book found out that the display is displaying a code and that I could use my phone to see what was wrong but that didn't work and the book said to call LG and they can use my phone to see what was wrong. They didn't even try that but instead had me go through some steps to fix it. They came to the conclusion that it must be installed wrong. So I called the plumber he came out and said that the machine is not shutting of the water valve and he isn't responsible but could fix it but that would void my warranty since he is not authorized. So that was wasted money on a service charge, thanks LG. So I went to Best Buy to exchange it or something and they said I was outside the 45 day window and I should of bought there plan (I thought I did but they couldn't find anywhere that I had). The did sell me one at that point and I went home to deal with it I also checked my receipt and guess what I did buy the protection plan but I deal with this later. So I call the geek squad and they basically said don't call us tell the warranty is through. UUUHHHHGGGG. So I call LG again and go through the process of this person reading the symptoms and possible fixes AGAIN. they said they can send someone out. I ask how long and she says well its a holiday in America so it might take a little while. I don't know yet how long because it is still the holiday but its ok because after more than 2 days of my hot water being poured into a dishwasher that doesn't work the plumber did turn the water off to it, so I guess that service fee I thought was wasted money wasn't a total waste. So in short it may be a great dishwasher but all the support that goes with this $1200 (regularly priced) dishwasher sucks and if this thing broke down the first week then I am going to say its a PO S and since support for this from the manufacturer and Best Buy are so bad I would not recommend this or any other LG product. I am trying to someone my strength and patience so I can deal with my oven next.

With all of the fold down tines throughout the dishwasher, I'm still not sure I like it. They seem to fall down whenever they feel like it. We still have not received the mounting brackets from the store either so the unit is not terribly stable when loading or unloading.

All appliances in my home are now LG. I have rated all five stars except for this dishwasher. It has not met my expectations. Professional installation. Double checked, rinse agent filled yet dishes still do not dry properly. Dishes are wet every time.

This dishwasher is good at washing the dishes, but it never dries. We have to hand dry the dishes after each run. We try the "Extra Dry" setting, but I am convinced it is a fake button. For a high-end dishwasher, I am disappointed.

The top loading silverware tray is nice, in theory. the problem is knives don't fit easily. If that was the only issue, I wouldn't have problem. This dishwasher looks nice BUT It doesn't clean anything. After the first six months and several LG service technicians looking at this dishwasher and determining it was functioning properly my glassed still have a film on them and lipstick/blistex/chapstik doesn't come off. Dishes come out as dirty as they went in... I think everyone gets the picture, this is one item from LG I'd never buy again and recommend others stay away.

The first few times we used it it didn't clean worth a darn. Then I noticed why there was soap everywhere. The soap door must have had a burr or something keeping it from latching. I operated it manually a bunch of times until it loosened up and clicked closed. Works great now.

If your looking for a solid and quite built dishwasher then this is the machine for you. Lots of rack storage and different cleaning options as well. If your in need of a dischwasher I would highly recommend this unit

Really washes dishes. Dishes remain wet unless you open the door after clean to let the steam out. Quiet and pretty.

This is a "cleaning machine"! We put dishes with dried eggs and other hard to clean dirty dishes and they came out squeaky clean, love, love love it

Just wish the energy efficient products didn't take away the drying cycle. Dishes come out damp and wet.

It is great to have 3 racks and ability to have top and bottom only use.

Whoever designed this dishwasher, obviously, never used a dishwasher. Very disappointed in LG. All other appliances are LG, including a washer and dryer, range, refrigerator, and microwave, and I like them all. The dishwasher is really bad design, and I hate using it.

This is a great dish washer. I would recommend this one to everyone who can afford it.

I love the extra tray. the inside look is great and love the true steam.
