    Don't waste your money

    You will not just pay for the dryer and any of the basic parts you need for installation, but also for any delicate piece of clothes, especially the ones that you like... We bought it in May of 2018. It dries fine, but you will notice after a while that the lint filter will stop fitting flushed in its slot. The lint will slowly build up at the bottom of the slot and push the filter up, making the edges of the filter to stick out. I've lost 2 tops with thin straps to the dryer. The design team at LG really hit this one out of the park. And on top of it, LG won't do anything about it.... because lets face it, what can they do. One solution that I found on the LG website under the filter replacement page, is to file the filter at the bottom so that it fits lower, especially because even after removing the lint from the vent, it seem the filter has changed shape due to the heat. Save yourself some money. Don't buy this one, and do your research on any other dryer you plan to buy, especially on the filter.... P.S. The pic of the filter sitting in the slot is after I took the lint out, It was worse. And the picture of the lint is the build up of about 6 or 7 month....

    Not working after 13 days and only 3 loads - POOR

    The most frustrating part is the lack of customer service. Talked to 3 people at BB before being transferred to LG at 44 minutes. That rep didn't stay on the line and I had to call back only to be told they didn't have an authorized service rep in our area so they would call back in 3 days to schedule a time. To be honest, I could not believe the LG rep. I told them the dryer would not turn on and we had checked the breaker as well as checking there was power to the power cord. He then asked to have us reset the breaker. My husband did and it still didn't work. He then said, "Would you please unplug it and plug another small appliance in there and see if it works." Honest, I'm not kidding. I asked him if he was kidding as it it 240 service and there are no "small appliances" that could be plugged into it. Then he said he schedule a repair - which he ended up telling me he could;t do. NOT impressed at all so far.

    Very disappointing dryer

    I have several LG products and thought the dryer would live up to the washing machine, refrigerator and tv performance sadly it doesn’t. It constantly stops after just a few minutes drying I called custom service a couple of times and frankly their response was totally unprofessional and basically said I’m not using it correctly. i e too small a load or should not be mixing towels with other types of materials. I having been using a dryer for over 40 years and never had a problem. My next move is to try and speak with LG management to let them know how disappointed I am with the product and their customer service.

    Do not buy!

    I bought the matching pair for this product.. The first washing machine went dark right after I started it the first time and did not start again. It took a week for them to bring me a replacement.. The installers arrived 40 minutes after their 4 hour time slot... The second machine did the exact same thing... Now I have to wait two weeks before they will pick the pair up so I can get a refund for the whole affair... It took all told a month and half for this to take place and now I have to wait two more weeks for the refund.. And do not try to call the store when the machine does not work, no one will answer and you will have to go back to the store again..

    I would not recommend this dryer at all. Dryer is only 3 years old and needs a new control panel. Cost for repair is OVER $400!! Do not buy. Quality is NOT worth it. If I didn't have to have them stacked, I would have cut my losses bought a different brand dryer. LG was not helpful at all in resolving the issue. Any local repair companies they gave do not service my area. Do not buy LG if you want a lasting product and reasonable customer service.

    Avoid this dryer

    After having this dryer for a year the lint catcher filter chipped. I called for service and had to wait 3 weeks before someone came out. Long story short: I had to replace a lot of clothing due to being torn. Works fine now but I asked for an extra filter to have on standby. I also have to run it at least two times to completely dry the clothes. No, I do not overload the dryer and it's not bulky items.

    Had to return this dryer because the drum was loose and vibrated. Got a replacement dryer (same model) since we liked all the features. The second dryer didn’t get hotter than low and the timer was defective. We ended up exchanging it for a Whirpool dryer with less features but it’s been great.

    When buying, I asked specifically also if this dryer twists & tangles up clothes. It does & will come out all wrinkled because of tangling.
