Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the TurboWash 4.3 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer's quiet operation, excellent cleaning ability, and ease of use. Many appreciate its large capacity and effective spin cycle, resulting in clothes that are drier after washing. While some users noted issues with the door seal and occasional odor, the positive feedback on cleaning performance and quietness significantly outweighs these concerns. The energy efficiency is also a frequently cited advantage.

Great HE washer, especially for the price. Took a few practice washes to get the best amount of detergent (1 TBSP of my Eco-friendly brand works well), but after that have been happy with the results. Can wash blankets, mixed clothes and delecates thanks to several cycle options and can create custom options as well, including lower spin to reduce wrinkles. Have not had any issues with mold or mildew smell HE machines can develop. I just leave the door open between washes or wipe it out if I want to close it. Runs quiet, plays a happy tune at the end. Almost makes laundry enjoyable. Almost.

Good washer, poor directions, loud water inlet

We got this machine as a replacement for a broken whirlpool that was under Best Buy Warranty. We had to put some money into the cost difference of the machines, but overall I like this one. Pros: ~The load size is comparable to my old washer (4), but this one has a steam function and water filter. ~The towel spin cycle is amazing. The towels are almost dry when they come out, which is really nice. ~The washer plays a cute little song instead of a loud buzzer when the cycle is done. ~I also like the buttons on this machine better than the flat screen that the other brands sported. My experience with those flat buttons is that the film cracks with extended use and looks terrible. ~The tray that pulls to hold the detergent is much sturdier than the trays on the other brands. ~This washer also has a simpler and sturdier hinge for the door than our last washer. The hinge on that washer was very complex and broke, which is why we needed a new washer. ~I have not used the app program yet, but it looks cool. ~I also like the bright white cycle. ~The spinning on our old machine shook like crazy, but this machine spins quietly. What a nice feature! ~It is pretty to look at, which isn't that important to me, but some people might value the aesthetics. Cons: ~There is no plain rinse and spin cycle, which we used a lot on our old washer since all three of my kids are on swim team and need their suits rinsed and spun. ~Also, at the beginning of each load, the water is pumped in spurts, resulting in a significant pounding throughout the house as the water abruptly stops and starts in the pipes. When I asked the installer about it, he claimed it should go away in a week or so, but it hasn't. I guess I should call about that. ~The directions for cleaning the filter are incomplete. They warn you that if you reinstall the filter incorrectly, you will have water leaking out. Oh, that warning was complete, but the directions to install the filter - not so much. Water pours out of the filter if it is not correctly installed! Apparently, the directions should have said to turn the filter until it stops turning (6-10 rotations). But the directions just say turn clockwise. I did turn it clockwise many times. I pulled the filter, and it was stuck in there - if I had turned it two more times, I would have been fine, but the filter was not sealed. BEWARE if you buy this and clean the filter. Turn it until the filter won't turn any more, even if you have to turn it 10 times….

This model is not the top of the line, but I purchased it because it has all of the features we were most likely to use, and with a slightly smaller capacity. I have not been disappointed. The capacity has been more than enough for our family of 4. The turbo wash works great and shortens the cycle time by 20 minutes. In addition, there is a quick cycle that can wash and dry a few items in about 45 minutes, helpful when you have forgotten something you absolutely need. It is quiet and attractive. The only small complaint is that when the water is filling it is a little loud, but overall this is a small thing compared to how many other things it does so well. Very satisfied with my purchase. Best Buy's price match guarantee can't be beat, even bettering Costco. They also threw in the 3 year extended warranty.

LG Frontloader-best washing machine ever made

Do not even consider any other machine than the LG frontloader--or an almost identical type. It is simply amazing. Without going into pages of explanation, just buy it. HOWEVER, do NOT buy the LG TOPloader. While the frontloader is, without question, one of the best washing machines ever made--the toploader is definitely not. I learned the mechanical impossibilities of the toploader--the one with no agitator (they do NOT get clothes clean because they can not-it is impossible due to the physics and the mechanics. Most of these top loaders were recalled). I had two washing machines, simultaneously working, due to lots of family laundry--the LG frontloader and the LG toploader. The frontloader never gave me one ounce of trouble and cleaned everything like magic--the frontloader did all of the work because the toploader was either broken or did not clean the wash properly. I just cannot say enough good things about this LG frontloader--it is the best washing machine I have ever owned. However, ironically, I think that the LG toploader is the worst washing machine ever made. Buy this LG frontloader, and you will have years of wonderfully clean laundry and no maintenance problems.

Very good Washer - My wife and even my kids continually brag on it after 3 weeks of use - Threw our Big King Comforters at it and never missed a beat! Allergen Cycle really works - Fast Load Wash - is really fast and the clothes are perfectly clean - Speed matters- One is a college football player and it conquers anything he brings home! Quite - Real quite - Also is beautiful unit - actually ashamed to have it in my garage - It deserves better!

I love this washer. It is easy to use, is quiet with the cycles I use each week. I have not tried to wash bulky items yet so I cannot comment on that. The clothes are very clean after washing.

we bought this after thorough review of this machine and found it to be the best washer for our needs. It performs like a champ. Washes clothes very well and gentle. Clothes do not get tangled up like our previous washer and spins them out very well so you save on drying time as well.

I researched the different washers and selected the LG TurboWash WM3570HWA based on capacity, price, energy use, and reviews. I took advantage of a Labor Day sale and replaced a 6 year old frontload Kenmore that smelled bad and needed the bearings replaced. Best buy delivered on time and unit has performed perfectly for the last 2 months (2 adults, 3 kids, at least 6 loads a week). No problems, leaks or complaints so far. The washer cleans better than the my Kenmore Elite and it is quieter. Smells better too!

Waited to review until I had the opportunity to use this several time. Gets the clothes so much cleaner than my old top loading Kenmore. Easy to load and to operate. Much more efficient. We use the high efficiency detergent and throw in the premeasured pods, so we don't use the soap dispenser. Very easy to set the controls. I wish we could control the volume for the tone to indicate the load is finished as the laundry is in the basement, but I can't figure out if there is a way to make it any louder. Performance of the washer is wonderful and the amount of water used is a terrific improvement. The machine is quiet in general. We got the sidekick with the washer/dryer combo, but I haven't used it yet. I definitely read reviews before deciding which washer/dryer to purchase and they had a major influence on my decision. Best Buy delivery and service were wonderful with installation and haul away; they arrived on schedule and did an excellent job.

We looked in-depth at all brands before settling on LG as the brand of choice. I'm glad we stretched ourselves and bought the higher-end front loaders with pedestals. Fast, quiet, efficient, looks incredible, and treats the laundry very well.

This LG is very quiet, takes large loads and gets them clean while being gentle on the clothes. At first the choices of 12 cycles seemed a bit daunting, but the controls are really quite user-friendly. (I chose this more expensive model - 12 cycles - largely to have an easy option for rinse or spin only.) When a cycle is chosen, the defaults of temperature, spin speed, extra rinse, etc., light up and can be altered separately, and includes an extra-hot wash option which is useful to me. One can even turn off the incredibly annoying little ditty that plays when a load finishes - thankfully! It is easy to pause a cycle to add items as well. The only negative for me is that all rinses are cold water with no choice, but I can live with that for the other features. Front-loaders can become smelly over time, but this machine has clean-cycle options. I hope it lasts for 18 years like my last front-loader!

I've used a few different brands of front load washers and the LG is by far the quietest and fastest at washing. This model has a lot of different options so I'm never worried about what's going to happen to anything I put in there. It plays a ridiculously long jingle when it's done washing which I find humorous.

This washer is very impressive in both performance and features. The washer is quiet and cleans the clothes very well. The clothes do not come out wrinkled like other HE washers on the market. The Turbo Wash is quick and cleans well. I'm glad we made the purchase.

This is an excellent washer and the different load cycles make it an exception. The best part was Best Buy's price match guarantee. The machine is pretty easy to use despite of the multiple load cycles. No noise and indicates once the cycle gets completed.

I purchased the LG to replace an Amana that died before its time. After a month, I can say the new machine is easy to use and has performed well. The only negative is a few new sounds as the load balances itself at startup. Operations is relatively quiet.

Love the washer, I especially l love the different load cycles, especially the quick cycle. The washer is energy efficient and uses a small amount of water and the clothes come out sparking clean. I also love the spin cycle, it saves much time in the dryer. I'm happy I waited to replace my old machine.
