So far it’s cleaning very well. I’ve had to adjust the feet twice to get/keep it level and balanced. I don’t know if it ever reaches 1300 rpm, but it does spin clothes dryer than my old washer. I love the turbo wash feature and the backlit display—two features lacking in the 3700 model. I feel it was worth the price difference to have those features. I bought this over the nearly identical LG-built Kenmore model primarily because of the 15 minute quickwash cycle. Time will tell if it’s worth the price difference between those machines. This machine has easy access to the drain filter, which was on my list of “must haves.” My machine was made in Vietnam. I think this might be one that LG plans to build in SC.

I did so much research and I'm so happy with my new washer and matching dryer purchase. The turbowash ensures all clothes are wet. Our clothes seem to be cleaner than they ever have.

The washer arrived on time, well-packaged, and is a beautiful design with appealing digital display. Since I live far from Anchorage, I had to pay for shipping and did not get the free installation. Despite following the directions closely and removing the shipping bolts on the back and leveling it perfectly, the spin cycle shakes, rattles, and rolls so much that the levels vibrated off the top of the machine during the test run and it was so loud!!!! The whole room vibrated and I didn't even run it on the top spin speed. I had a front loading commercial Amana washer for 24 years and this never happened and I grew beautiful plants on top of my washer! I called LG and they helped me troubleshoot and I will try to make the front feet a few quarter turns higher so that the nuts (bottom and top locking nuts) are separated and then elevate the back to compensate for the change and still be level. If that fails to change the situation I am told I have to order rubber cups to fit on the feet. Really? My floor is solid wood construction with a commercial vinyl and is level. Because I am far from Anchorage there is no service person to respond, so am not sure what will happen. I did purchase the Best Buy 5 year extension to the warranty so hopefully I can get this machine to behave. I ran a 22 minute turbo wash and it was ok, tho the soil and grass stains on jeans and armpit body odor was still there on the shirts even though I used an HE detergent to the appropriate level. I previously used to put some baking soda into the wash but it seems that the directions prefer liquids, so maybe I have to do more pre-treating. When it turns on there is an ascending scale of notes and when it finishes there is a descending scale of notes. I wish I could program a different song in this age of technology. I also wish I could reverse the door swing. I had to buy the stainless water hoses and they are so long that they keep trying to curl up in the tightly wound bundle they were packaged in. I was told that the warranty would be void if I didn't buy these water hoses, but my previous hoses were shorter and had built in mesh filters. So I will try to update this review when this vibration issue is resolved. But until such time, I would not be able to recommend this machine, even though it ticked all my boxes upon extensive research online and a 5 hour trip to Anchorage to look at all the top end large front loading washers available at Best Buy, Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, Allen & Pederson, and Pennies. Bottom line: when you drop a grand on a washer, it should work properly without having to spend this much time. But I am not giving up and I will update.

LG has a sound dampening technology that no one seems to talk about, except the Best Buy Pacific Kitchen guys! I put this washer in a contemporary condominium and is exposed (not in a closet or basement). The residents using this washer are amazed at just how quiet it is. Add that to its price and reliability and you end up with a simply summary - Buy it!!

Owned less than one month. Like the options, capacity, quiet. Does what it is suppose to do wash the cloths. I purchased from Best Buy because of pricing, availability, and fast delivery. I also purchased the Geek Squad extended warranty, not too expensive, but may save headache in future. I purchased this brand based on a review from WireCutter.com

I did a lot of research before buying a washer; LG came out on top based on what I was looking for and *this* washer has met or exceeded all of my expectations. Having the pre-set cycles makes it easy to use the washer, but even better is the ability to modify the pre-sets if you want cooler/hotter water, less/more spin, etc. I have had NO issues with musty smells (follow the directions: wipe out the rubber ring after your last load and leave the door open for a while.) I had my old washer for 28+ years, so this is a huge change. Didn't think I'd like the long cycles and was also worried that it would "beat up" my clothes. NOPE - the cycles are manageable; our clothes have come out of this washer SUPER CLEAN and just fine. I am quite impressed with the performance of this washer.

THIS UNIT HAS LOTS OF CYCLES TO CHOOSE FROM AS WELL AS YOU CAN ADJUST EACH OF THEM TO YOUR LIKING. THIS ONE PURRS WHEN IT SPINS AND IS ONE OF THE QUIETEST WASHING MACHINES I HAVE EVER HAD! THE CLOTHES HAVE COME OUT CLEANER AND SMELL GREAT!!

It’s funny as you get older and things like buying appliances are actually exciting. I did some research and this LG front loading Turbo Washer was one of the best available. I’ve had it for a few years now and it really is a wonderful product. The TurboWash option can really speed things up if you need to wash multiple loads in a single day. And you can also turn that feature off if you want it to go slower or you can include additional rinse cycles to make sure everything is thoroughly cleaned. I also like that it has so many options, like for allergies or different types of clothing. It’s one of the best appliance purchases I’ve ever made. I love this Washer unit!

After reading multiple reviews and asking family and friends, I decided to purchase this washer. It is quiet and washes clothes quickly. Stains from the baseball field and odors from fishing are no match for the power of steam.

It's only been a couple of weeks, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase. The machine is very quiet and does a good job at washing. I like that you can keep the door slightly open for air to enter and prevent mildew build up.

I've been enjoying this new washer for awhile now and it's been absolutely perfect. Very easy to use and does an amazing job washing the clothes. Lots of flexibility. Absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone.

Have had the washer for a couple of months now and we love it. You can be done with one load, washed and dried in our new dryer as well in an hour. Clothes are clean and fresh and just makes doing laundry much easier.

So far it is doing a great job getting my clothes clean. It is quiet. I have tried several of the settings and they have all worked well. I have washed small loads as well as large ones with no issues.

I love this washer! It has a large capacity, special towel cycle, washes well, and is easy to use. The door must be left propped open after use however in order to dry. Otherwise, mildew can form inside.

This is replacing a whirlpool top load washer. This washer is nice, it washes clothes a lot better than my old one. There is a lot of room inside this washer. It also makes noice to let you know when the load is finished

We bought this washer in 2018 and it still works and looks as new with using it every day for couple of times. Great performance, easy to use and maintain. Do recommend.

This has been a great investment so far. It is easy to use and cut the wash time down significantly from the LG Tromm it replaced. It looks very sharp and does an outstanding job cleaning the clothes. I would highly recommend at least for what our experience has been in the 2 months we have had it.

Very easy to choose modes from. Highly customizable in terms of spin speed, temperature and time. Great looking washer and large volume which fits huge loads. Very happy with the cleaning and the product quality

I bought this based on Consumer Reports. It did not disappoint. Its super quiet, gets the clothes clean and has several different options for all the different loads of laundry. I love it.

We have been very pleased with the performance of this LG washer. It is very quiet and the controls are easy to understand. I did a lot of research online before deciding on this unit. Glad I did - love it so far!
