This washing machine is beyond this earthly realm. It is so advanced that at any moment a time portal will open up in our laundry room and the civilization that created it will come to get it back. I would not recommend this washer for the old fashioned washboard loving fan club. No no no this thing is foolproof, so simple, even Sara Palin could figure this thing out. Another plus is that it gives you so much extra time you will be spending it at the pool sipping piña coladas! It uses so little water these should be mandatory in every drought stricken state. LG you have me thinking that it stands for Laundry God or Loosens Grime!!! Thanks Laundry Genuis!

This is an awesome washer that works so much better than anything we bought with the brand Kenmore. Almost got the Samsung, but this model edged it out. We have been totally satisfied with its performance and appearance. Even a blast to watch through the top glass when its operating.

Would recommend this washer to everyone. Can handle huge loads and cleans wonderful

This is my first time purchasing an LG product. I had to purchase a new washer after my old front loader quit on me. The excellent saleswoman who assisted me with details and answered all my questions sealed the deal with this machine. I was lucky enough to get a floor model with all the bells and whistles. I've not been disappointed at all. It is a super quiet machine, big enough to wash a huge load but yet if you have a small load it manages that load just as well. Even to my delight a cute little melody plays when the cycle is complete! Just the right touch! LG has an amazing product here!

Does a great job of cleaning with very little water. Can do bedding and that is awesome

So far I am very happy with the product. I love that it measures the amount of laundry and then dispenses the amount of water necessary. The clothes come out wonderfully clean and the different cycle options are perfect. The only thing that I would change is having to remember to hit the fabric conditioner button every time.

I purchased this machine as it was the one the wife wanted as well as a replacement for a 20+ year old machine. This thing is a monster for capacity. I can put 6 or 7 pairs jeans in it as well as all my other light colored clothes for a week and still not fill it up.

Works well with a variety of items and has easy to use settings for different needs. Cleans clothes well, stays balanced, and saves water. Does not have the mildew under the gasket problem that front loading HE washers have in our humid climate! Does make some noise on high speed spin settings which is surprising at first, but not a problem once you know it is a normal noise.

This washer is the new model to replace my old LG which, after several repair attempts, finally discovered had been recalled. Overall, I have been happy with the performance of both of my LG washers. I do, however, strongly recommend the extended warranty as "they don't make 'em like they used to"...

I've never had an LG appliance before. So far I have been quite impressed by the quality of this washer....and the ease of using all the options. I especially like the fact that it controls the water level....it saves on any guess work. I bought the one with the extra large tub so I can wash bedding easily.

I have had this washer for a little over 4 years. I runs great. It has recently gotten a little squeaky. Otherwise I love that it can detect the load size and auto balance. Clothes always come out clean. Can handle fairly large loads.

I had an LG front loader before and we had to get a new one when we moved. I went for this machine. Its a massive improvement and we liked our last washer!! Our clothes come out clean, we use less detergent, they are fresh and the spin is top notch, clothes dry very fast! its versatile, if you need to open it during the wash you can. its HUGE and takes a king size comforter easily. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this machine. We love the little tune it gives you when its done :)

Being a major purchase for our family, I read reviews upon reviews on top load washers with a tub capacity greater than 5.0 cu ft. This was the best item to purchase at the price. It happened to be on sale the day of my purchase. Bought it. BB delivered it and installed it for us. The product, itself, deserves 5 stars; however, the installation experience was not very great. It is not BB that performs the installation, but a 3rd party vendor BB is contracted with. The water was leaking from the hose. But BB immediately had the 3rd party installation company return and fix it. Which they did. BB I am satisfied with. The product, I am satisfied with. It is WONDERFUL! The installation company, I am not satisfied with.

I recently purchased this washer and love everything about it, it's quiet and effective along with saves me money every month on my water bill! I actually look forward to washing clothes now.

Washer and dryer del about a month ago. Old units removed and new ones placed. Looked at the Samsung 9000 but glad that we did not purchase due to its size. This washer is quiet with min. vibrations. It is on the second floor

I am very pleased with this washing machine. It has many settings and you can also customize your machine for a setting you use frequently. It takes a little getting use to like anything thats new. The size is very large so you don't need to do washings as often.

much louder than we thought..during the wash cycle it really kicks in to the point that we now close the laundry room door. Other than that, great. big loads come clean...does have plastic wheel at base of stainless tub, but that does not yet seem to be a problem. Overall, happy.

This is an excellent washer. Extremely quiet and functional. Much better than the HE 3 year old front loader. Clothes come out cleaner and smells fresh. Oh..and Best Buy was great. They delivered within 2 days of the order, Lowe's quoted 5 weeks!

This machine has done small loads and extra large loads without any issues. If you are used to seeing large amounts of water being used for you laundry then you will be disappointed. This machine cleans extremely well and uses very little water.
