    Monitor not t.v.

This is a great monitor. I bought the monitor because I didn't want another Smart tv for my kids to have access to. With the all connections (USB, HDMI, and USB-C) I can control what is being connected (DVD, game system, phone). It is large enough for any living room. With the main focus of this being a monitor now I can connect multiple computer media and display each one without flipping back and forth. Great purchase!

    WAY better than 4 screens!

You really should think of this 43" display as buying four 21.5" displays in one. Started looking at larger displays for my MacBook Pro when I noticed I could only run two external displays. My previous setup (with an iMac) had three displays side by side and I didn't want to lose one display! I was fixated on getting my 3 displays back! Boy oh boy, this is so much better than having 3 or even 4 external displays. It's got all the benefits of having four displays, with a bonus that you can use the entire screen for extremely immersive videos and games. Even better, I could run TWO of these at 4k off my MacBook and functionally have 8 displays. Simply crazy. This display is a productivity superstar. Now for the few weird things I ran into. I don't think any of this warrants losing a star, but would have been good to know ahead of time: 1. When using the display with a standard HDMI cable running to an HDMI device, I couldn't get full 4k resolution without using one of the two provided HDMI cables in the box. The TV even prompted me with an onscreen message saying something to the effect of "please use included HDMI cables". 2. On my MacBook Pro, I ran two USB C to HDMI cables to this screen, expecting to use it like two ultra wide displays stacked on top. This did not work, the only resolutions I could set were 16:9 ratio, so I never got two widescreen displays even when the TV display mode was set for two widescreen displays. Not a big deal, I've been using it as a single 4k display and that's been fine. Just know if you plan to hook this screen up to a Mac you're only getting 16:9 ratio screens, regardless of where you put it in the display layout. It's also possible the cables I was using were causing the problem.

This monitor is huge and takes up a lot of desk real estate. It is bright and text is clear ( it give you the option to adjust the text to the screen based on your preference) but you have to search for operating/use instructions, they are not in the paperwork (they may on included disk, have not gotten to it yet and many computers no longer have cd disk drives, LG might want to upgrade to USB flash drives to store owners manual and any software installations). Love that it is 4K and IPS, good deal for features, size and price. Looking to see how it performs after color calibration, colors are good out of box.

Absolutely stunning. I was using three monitors and I replaced them with this one. PERFECT. I DID have to spend a LOT of money to get a nice arm for it (basically $375 all-in) but totally worth it. I realized without spending about $6k, there were ALWAYS going to be trade-offs when buying a 4k monitor. This is GREAT for what I'm doing, which is mostly video editing and some basic office work. NOTE: Some people say the letters are "jagged" but I don't think they're setting their screen resolution properly. Make sure you're changing the resolution to 4k !!

I am pleasantly surprised with this LG monitor and especially with the Dual control which allows me to view multiple PCs all on one screen. The remote makes is easy to navigate the settings menu. The price point was great as Best Buy matched Walmart's price and delivery was outstanding. I would recommend this monitor especially for someone working from home and needs big screen area.

As a monitor for coding (not gaming) this is an excellent monitor and size. Since at 4k you can run it full resolution without any magnification and have a lot of screen real estate to work with for dev tools. Small text on IPS panel is clear and solid at 60 hz.

This monitor is amazing. The fact that it can split up 4 displays from the same or multiple machine is incredible. On windows or Linux systems, you can even enlarge a window from one display to take up the entire monitor without having to full screen one portion of the display. This thing has been incredible for my work productivity, highly recommended!

I have enjoyed the Lg-43 4K monitor for over 8 months now. At this stage in the game using a large monitor for computer work has become essential for me and this monitor fits the bill. Looking at stock market graphs and other financial graphics has become much easier. Great product and good value.

Outstanding clarity. I love this monitor! The multiple inputs are very nice but the KVM software "dual controller" is pretty cool too. It can be very bright and sitting more than 30 inches back helps.

Great monitor but is extremely big. I knew that going in but unless you sit 3-4 feet away from the monitor, you’ll be straining your neck looking at all around.

Returning this today…. The monitor is large and that’s good, but that’s where the goodness stops. Since the minute I hooked this up to my computer it hasn’t done anything great. The picture is meh, it’s very slow response when changing inputs, the display has just shut off on me more than 10 times while switching PIP configuration. It’s just not good. The biggest reason I am returning is that it is not recognized by my HP Thunderbolt (3 display version). The whole purpose of this monitor for me was to have 4 useable screens on one monitor using one computer and adding the fire stick to the 4th HDMI input. It is not compatible to do this. If that’s what you want to do, don’t buy this. I’ll replace this with 3 27’ Benq monitors and that will be 1,000,000 times better. Maybe a bit more cost but if you use your computer for long hours at work, it’s a better decision. If you want a glare free 43’ monitor/TV, this may be for you, but that’s it. Nothing more or amazing.

Great UHD monitor for using a MacBook Pro and a PC. Love the multiple input options and the headphone Jack so I can connect my speakers and have the inputs switch automatically. Did take some getting used to as it is a huge screen but now it is hard to live without it haha.

Great Monitor for small conference rooms. I tested one in my office, while the performance and readability is great it’s really just too big. It became a little overwhelming. It is nice and bright, the speakers are really nice for conference calls to overall a really nice monitor, I would just go down a size.
