Taking notes, coding, or even just gaming is incredibly better especially with the LG monitor. The colors are can be vibrant or dull depending on your monitor settings.

I am using it strictly for gaming on PC with a 3080TI. No issues so far and the price is just right. The included stand is really nice, though I did use a monitor arm instead.

HDR was a bit lackluster due to its relatively low peak brightness but not terrible. If you go with this monitor, make sure you check the amount of backlight bleed (mine had a borderline bothersome amount in each corner). Some panels will be affected by this more than others, and likewise some people may find it more distracting in darker scenes than others. Personal preference at the end of the day but worth determining before you can’t change your mind!

Upgraded from a 24inch 1080p to this 27inch 1440p. The stand it comes with is not adjustable but I wall mounted the monitor anyways so it doesn't matter to me.

With that being said, I have made this lg my new primary monitor for gaming. It has a beautiful clear quality screen and is easy to use.
