Totally worth it, as soon as I plugged in my xbox, it recognized that the monitor has 4K capabilities and it's been amazing, can't go back on 1080p resolution. Using my Mac on it has also been amazing, Resolution looks amazing and Im able to have more pages open and its just amazing. Highly recommend.

It makes any game I have played on it look great. My only complaint is that it shows up in the Windows setting that the monitor has a sound source but no speakers. I imagine you select that if you have a headset plugged into the 3.5mm jack but it would be cool for them to have speakers.

It is clear and sharp and colors are great with ips panel. It is also gsync compatible which is good. Cons - The contrast of the panel is ok but could be better.

Crisp colors, gsync, and user friendly control interface. Knocking a star off due to the garbage stand, its really bad. If you are not planning on using a vesa mount in the future this is something to take into consideration, maybe even a deal breaker. I would take two stars off but the display itself is perfect

However, the panel was not actually made by LG in-house, but was outsourced to a different manufacturer. This means that your mileage may vary with the 27gn800 model specifically. That being said, I have been enjoying my monitor on a VESA mount until I see a small white glowing spot in the corner of my screen. This white spot was caused by an error on the manufacturing floor. Since there is so much variety in the quality of these models, I will be returning this monitor in favor of a 27gn850, just because the panel is actually manufactured by LG themselves. I would rather spend the extra money on something that will last much, much longer.

You can find better prices for the specs but if you want a trust worthy brand with decent specs and at an affordable price this is the one.
