Avoid "Ultragear" and their horrible stands.

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG Ultra gear monitors have decent displays, however, positioning this monitor and other ultragear monitors are a nightmare. The stand is absolutely huge, and the only way this monitor moves is up and down. No landscape mode, and if your monitor is like mine, it always feels like it's slightly tilted. If you are OCD about your monitors positioning, this isn't for you. It does take getting used to. I recommend looking at other similar panels, as moving this one around is an absolute nightmare.

First impressions are supposed to be good.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.No internal speakers, and audio would not come from display port anyway, and since I don't have external speakers (because I don't live in 1986) if I have to go back to bestbuy anyway, it'll be to return this. Picture quality isn't any better than a 19" 1080p display from 10 years ago (was my previous display and apparently going back to, plus it has internal speakers so already better than this) There's absolutely nothing about this monitor that warrants the $300 price tag even before going on sale, quite a waste of money honestly. I'll buy speakers just to give it a good shot, but like I said the picture quality isn't any better than my previous display from 10+ years ago, the pixel density is definitely higher, and on my previous display I could see the spacing between the pixels and I can't on this one w/o getting close enough to hurt my eyes. But for first impressions, having it plugged in less than 2 hours, I've never been more disappointed with a display.

The monitor is alright at best.

It comes out as a more dark greyish tone than anything which makes it hard to see when im gaming.

Unreliable Monitor

The screen would automatically jump out of its recommended resolution and mess up every task that I was performing at the time and I had to manually reset the monitor every time that happened. The screen also started flickering after about a day of use, I thought it was a cable problem, but I used three different cables (HDMI and Display Port) and the unreliability continued. When the screen was on and working correctly, it was great; the problem is, it rarely worked right

Matte Finish is Very Aggressive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really looking forward to using this monitor as I've never had a display better than 1080p before, but upon opening I've noticed the matte finish/anti-glare display makes the screen appear as if it's very greasy/grainy. It is incredibly distracting and aggressive. It's very disappointing, will be returning this and looking for a different 1440p monitor.

No HDR for you

This is ridiculous. I dont blame LG or any other monitor thats going through this. I blame Windows.

Terrible Stand, SCREWS MISSING

I would recommend avoiding, however because of how poorly designed the stand is. It is 1 size with limited adjustability and my model in particular came without 2 essential screws.

Defective after 3 days of use

Never had a monitor fail this fast, returned and bought a Samsung monitor with much better results

Looks good but junk

I got the first around early December and it died mid February by only showing red lines across the display with no inputs plugged in, replaced with a new one and now one month later this one does the same. Normally one bad one would be fine but 2 in a row, something must be wrong with this model. look to other brands/models before buying this one.

No Screws, Cant attach stand

Not durable

It had the a similar issue where the screen got wonky but turned it off and on and fixed the issue. However not very durable. Mine broke today when it tipped over and hit my desk. Never fell on the floor. But a small fall cracked the whole screen.
