I bought this monitor so that I could get into the whole 144hz game and have a good near-4k resolution to boot. Price v.s. what else was out there seemed good, and I'm glad I bought it. Came flawless, easy to set up (I bought a display port 1.4 cord from amazon, BTW) and I had no problem getting my AMD card (580) to detect the freesync. Even tried it on my xbox series x and it looked GREAT. Real test will be when I get my Nvidia 3080, but until then, I'm satisfied with what I've seen so far. For a $350 monitor, this baby is pretty remarkable. No sense putting out a grand for a 4K IPS when this costs a fraction of that.

Great monitor for the price (bought 2), they do have Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync capability (they did autodetected my GPU) and fitted well in my 2 monitor stand, if you want a great monitor but you have limited budget, this one is the best option.

Started off using it with a usb c to hdmi cable coming from my laptop definitely do not recommend that. Switched to hdmi and order a Display Port cable. HDMI worked great but in hdr the image was to dark and a very noticeable yellow tint to the whole screen. Finally got the DisplayPort cable and everything worked way better. HDR was better, imagine was a lot better. Still have a yellow tint but not as noticeable. Definitely need a display port cable for its full potential especially if your buying it for g sync. It has a couple picture modes my go to was vivid. You can adjust black levels and response time or just cycle through game modes. Definitely happy with this monitor HDR to me is a lot better then other monitors. Almost TV quality. The only thing I don’t like is the anti glare layer having that yellow tint but once the game is playing I hardly notice it. I played in both light and dark settings and had no issues

A great monitor to run anything. I recently bought a laptop and constantly find myself splitting screens with my laptop to do homework. I will have Netflix running on my laptop and use this monitor to do my homework. It is a really nice display to use. My only complaint would be the one button that controls everything. I constantly fight trying to use it and to get what I want as it seems to follow no direction. Other than that I love using my PlayStation as it has amazing frames and display to use it for competitive play. It is a very good monitor for this price you can’t beat it fulfills everything you would need if you are a casual or competitive gamer on a smaller budget. There is not much to ask for more than what is already given.

Looks great! The refresh rate and visuals look as good as I think a monitor can look. There are probably higher refresh rates out there but this one is incredible for the price and I don't even know if I could tell a higher refresh rate and this one apart. Could use buttons or a remote to control display brightness and other features.

The monitor was advertised as 1440p, but when I received it, I found out it can go up to 4k. Finding a Monitor that can do both 144hz and 4k is rare even if they cant be done at the same time. Having the option that I thought wasnt available id awsome would highly recommend yhe colors are amazing and the refreshrate feels so smooth.

Love this monitor. It’s very heavy so it feels really premium. It has decent HDR for gaming (probably best without it though as most games are not actually made for HDR). 144 hertz feels great while gaming. Idk what to say but I definitely recommend for the price an if it’s your first 1440p monitor! Thanks LG.

I bought this as a third monitor for my desktop; it is great quality! I have used it for gaming and work, and it does not disappoint!

crisp UHD monitor with high refresh rate. any game i played felt amazing (granted my pc could hit those fps limits). but all in all amazing monitor will buy again

Monitor performs as it is expected too. Good color, good quality, had no issues setting it up and was ready to use as soon as I plugged it in to my device.

This has been a great monitor with a wide viewing angle, and great colors. The non-HDR/hi refresh rate modes are nice for when I'm not gaming, and just browsing/shopping etc. I do professional art/color work as well as coach esports and casual game, so all around its been easy to use, and looks great.

This monitor has excellent picture quality and refresh rate. The fact that it supports G-Sync is another feature that helped my choice in this monitor.

Was working really well. Until I noticed it developed a stuck pixel after less than 9 hours of use. Right in the middle of the screen too where once you notice it, you can’t stop noticing it. It definitely wasn’t there from the beginning because I was checked for dead/stuck pixels and was watching/playing games on it for hours. Kinda sucks but at least I got it when it was $100 off

Wanted something to pair with my new 4K monitor, but didn't want to drop a lot of money, so I went with this. It is a fantastic value. Super smooth with really high refresh rate. I am not a huge computer person, so I am just finally getting out of 1080P 60Hz monitors this year. A pair of these would be great for PC gamers at a relatively low price.

The LG UltraGear QHD IPS Gaming Monitor is a welcomed addition to my home setup. I purchased this monitor with gaming and work from home in mind. With my rising usage I figured now is a better time than any to purchase a new display. I was not disappointed with my decision. I replaced an aging LCD FHD (1080p) monitor with the LG UltraGear. The quality in construction is top notch compared to what is on my desk now. The monitor comes with a fixed stand, power adapter, and a DisplayPort 1.4 cable. The monitor has the capability to be mounted. The display is a matte finish and has wonderful color contrast and brightness. The monitor is also cable of HDR which makes movies and games look spectacular. The display really shines when G-Sync is enabled. The display is a 144Hz panel that is able to match the frame rate of the game you are playing if you have a compatible graphics card. G-Sync can only be enabled via the provided DisplayPort cable and by changing some of the settings within your operating system. I have had this monitor as my main display for about a month now and I only have a few complaints. One being that the mount didn't feel super stable. This may just be user error, but I felt like the monitor was not completely attached to the stand. I have since mounted the monitor. The other qualm I have is the built-in headphone jack. Once again, this could just be a user derived problem. I have disabled my computer from using the monitor as an audio source. It is driving me nuts. I have my PC set up to use my audio card by default now, but it still remains an option. On my monitor HDR doesn't play nicely with the Smart Energy Saving feature. The feature adjusts the brightness of the display to conserve energy. While HDR is on the lighting of my monitor was constantly in flux. There would be times late at night where the monitor would be at full brightness for no reason and then go completely dark. I no longer have HDR enabled as I would rather not suffer too much eye fatigue from the constantly changing brightness. My last issue is with G-Sync. When the monitor wakes up from sleep it take a few moments to enable G-Sync. The monitor will wake up, flicker on and off which takes 2-4 seconds, and then G-Sync will be enabled. It is a minor inconvenience, but one that should be noted. Overall I really like this monitor. It does have its hiccups, but I am considering buying a second one to have a matching pair on my desk. Don't sleep on this monitor if you are considering this monitor or the 850-B.

I've purchased 3 of these for other systems and perform great. LG makes quality panels for all gamer needs. The refresh rate is fast, color and clarity is crisp and clean for it's price range.

I already have one of the same monitor and it is amazing the graphic really does come through clear and when gaming it can detect the game and switch to a more friendly setting for your eyes if wanted, everything is fully customizable and overall it is just a great monitor. I really recommend this to anyone trying to have a good gaming monitor. Plus it’s always has some kind of deal saving you hundreds of dollars.
