I researched buying a 4K monitor for a long time. I finally decided to purchase this model as it seemed to meet all of my criteria to fit on my hutch. My assessment of this monitor is impressive in that when playing MSFS 2020 (my main purpose in all of this this) the scenery is breathtaking. Frame rate and resolution is great, and the experience is fulfilling. There is a myriad of adjustments and tweaks to get the perfect settings for your tastes. Overall, a fine choice. However, for the MSRP, this unit lacks features such as True HDR, mini LED, and local dimming (which LG plans to release in 2024 for $1000). But at the current BBY price, this is a very good monitor (as long as you don't really care about the above). Now for the downside. The first unit I picked up was disappointing. Not that it had stuck or dead pixels, but the panel was brighter on the right side than the left and had kind of a 'hot spot' which all adjustments would not resolve (see photos attached). I'm not sure how this one got through LG's QC, unless it was damaged through shipping. Anyway, it was annoying. Kudos goes to the BBY staff, online and in store, for making the exchange easy and painless. The second unit is working as expected and a keeper. Good job Best Buy!

Had the monitor for 6 months and is one of the best monitors I've personally used. It's really bright and games run smoothly whether you're on console or pc. Another cool feature are the lights on the back of the monitor which give it a cool asthetic and great ambient lighting at night.

I love this monitor but the reason I have to rate it 3 stars is because after only having it a year and a couple months, it started having visual glitches. And since there is only a year warranty on it there isn’t much I can do. If I run it at too high of a refresh rate then it glitches out and I’m very sad.

Great work/gaming monitor. If the space is available go for 32” otherwise 27” is a good alternative. I wish it was bit more bright but had no issues in well lit room.

I got this to use as both a gaming monitor and office work. The 4K makes text very crisp and the 144hz refresh rate makes the windows move around really smooth. For gaming I use my PS5 and it looks amazing. If gaming is the sole purpose then I'd recomend the 32" for only $100 more.

For your everyday gamer this is a MUST have and it’s a perfect gift. The graphics are phenomenal as well as the frame rates. The contrast ratio isn’t anything crazy but the wide color gamut combined with HDR definitely makes up for that! only problem is when it arrived there was a deep scratch on the top left of the screen so I ordered a new one. Overall a great purchase.

This is a really great monitor. There is almost no IPS glow or backlight bleed to be seen, and the colors are crisp and vibrant. Excellent product and highly recommend. I'm using it for PC games now and its been incredible. Only very minor cons I would mention: The out of the box color settings are a little unusual. It is very green / yellow tinted. In addition, some of the variable refresh rate ranges towards the mid-low scale seem just a touch off. These are minor though, and I would not let these steer you away from a product that is this good. Overall its definitely a great display.

Item is as described. 4K IPS@144hz. No dead pixels on arrival. Settings are pretty standard for any monitor. Has a cool back glow that you can change to any solid color, or a rainbow effect. Comes with all the cables you need and a small plastic mouse cord clip that connects to the bottom. HDR is average for a monitor.

This is a great simple monitor in a good way no problem great pictures quality lg is by for the best i have 2 lg monitors that are newer and better cause i wanted to upgrade and lg is best for gamins monitors one of the lg is the 45 curved monitor (2024) and that one is amazing

Bought an initial monitor to finally crank the computer to 4K with a monitor to show that resolution. My second monitor though was only 1080p and scaling issues rose so I finally decided to buy the second monitor and I do not regret it, they both work and look amazing!

One of the best monitor out there for a ps5, shows the fps counter, does vrr and can customize picture to suit the best colors, had it since October 2024 and still doing great!

Excellent visuals the monitor is really bright and really fluid. I love the customization with the RGB lights in the back of the monitor and it is compatible with my ps5 which the specs is 4k and 120hz and my computer is 4k and 144hz which is awesome and exactly what I need.

Ibresd reviews about this monitor and was second guessing my purchase but after having thus monitor it shiws a great picture especially with the ps5

The title says it all. I'm not going to trash the brand or the model with a 1-star review because of a defect. The unit I received was defective and had to be returned, AND because of the timing of it all, I ended up going with a different monitor as a replacement because it was on sale (normally the other one was considerably more expensive, which is why I didn't get it initially. That said, its defect was in regards to switching inputs. I play on an Xbox and stream from a PC using a capture card. So, I've got my streaming PC connected to this monitor through the Display Port, and the Xbox Series X (by way of the capture card) connected to HDMI 1. After a couple of weeks, the monitor had issues detecting input signals and switching inputs. It worked perfectly for a while, but a week or so ago, it wouldn't recognize the Xbox signal on HDMI 1 when I was manually switching it over. After a frustrating few days thinking it was my capture card, or my cables, or my broadcasting software, I was able to isolate the problem to the monitor when I connected the Xbox directly to HDMI 1 (instead of through the capture card) and realizing it still wouldn't switch. After plugging in my old monitor, the problem went away. Best Buy's return policy is great, and while I could've had it repaired, I can't afford that kind of downtime as a streamer. Hopefully this issue is a runoff and limited to my unit, but you may want to check other reviews to see if this is a widespread problem.

An excellent monitor! It was a tough decision between the Gigabyte M27U and this one. This became the winner the second it went on sale. If it’s not on sale, then I’d recommend the other one. I’m very pleased with its performance as I use it for both gaming, work, and productivity.

Solid monitor for something that won’t break the bank for 4k. I did have issues immediately out of the box with some display issues but powering off the monitor and back on has fixed it every time.

Looked fantastic when I used it for 10 minutes. I returned it because I have an OLED TV and this just didn't live up. Great monitor... not OLED quality.
