It's a great monitor if you don't mind some minor vertical bandind and you got it for a good price. ($549) I recommend checking out RTINGS full review which just dropped a few days ago. The only major negative they go into is the grayscale / vertical banding.

High quality display. The picture is bright. The image is sharp and I sit about 15 inches away from the monitor. Has built in features to prevent OLED burn in. Just as advertised. I want another one. Happy with this purchase.

Tandem WOLED is definitely a big difference over the previous gen. Color accuracy, HDR PQ tracking, text clarity, etc are all fantastic. If you notice vertical banding it’s the only downside to this panel, and clears up with a pixel clean.

I purchased open box for Black Friday and it was in excellent condition! The OLED panel is phenomenal paired with the HDR 500. This is easily the best monitor I’ve ever owned. LG advertises no burn in, only time will tell.

My first OLED. A huge improvement over the old technology. Highly recommend getting the new generation tandem OLED. Very bright, text looks very sharp. HDR looks amazing as well. Much more durable than previous generations. A huge step in the right direction.

Phenomenal monitor. Upgraded from an IPS to this new tandem OLED and am blown away. Had some color banding when viewing gray screen but went away after a week or so. Very happy with my purchase.

One of the best gaming monjtors I have ever had. Tandem OLED sure looks nice! I'm coming from an IPS LG monitor and OLED is night and day difference. I cant believe the picture looks this good!

There’s a lot of really great things about this monitor. The matte coating works really well while in a might room, and the monitor itself can get super bright while in HDR while still maintaining its color. But i do have some issues with it, the coating while it works well isn’t subtle at all, it looks very oily when doing basically any activity and it can take away from what you’re viewing pretty easily, i never had this problem on my old matte IPS so it seems to be a issue with this monitor in general. Overall i think the monitor is alright but the coating is too much for me

Will never go back after buying this, all my future monitor purchases will be oled. The difference between this and my 2nd one is literally night and day.

Would be better if the hdr wasnt so terrible looking. Entire thing looks washed out in hdr. Sdr picture was pretty great. The matte screen is also not as bad as i thought it'd be coming from glossy qd oled screen. But the hdr is terrible and there is no firmware update for this monitor yet. I def wouldnt pay the full 850 they were asking for originally thatd be insane. Had to use nvidia hdr calibration to get hdr to be usable on the monitor and not look just terrible. Once i made adjustments through nvidia hdr looked better than my 2k qd oled minus the matte screen difference. Point is not everyone can fix it that way so lg should release some firmware to fix their mess. Anyway get it on sale or wait for gigabyte or asus model to drop in a couple more weeks. I will be buying asus when it comes out for sure.
