The monitor is stunning.
A little bit of effort needed to be put in to get the colors and brightness level just right, but after that, the image is gorgeous now. The speakers themselves aren’t too bad for monitor speakers, but I use a pair of Bose companion speakers with them which sound great. Only real complaint is that the headphone jack to connect the speakers is in an odd location (bottom of the monitor), so I can’t really hide the cord as well as I would hope.
Fan noise is either negligible or non existent at all times. Haven’t gotten the chance to try the 1080/480hz mode yet, but the 4K/240hz is great.

Picture quality, color, size, build quality is phenomenal. I bought a 360 hz QDOLED before this monitor, but the shininess of the screen and the sub-pixel layout provided a much worse picture to my eyes than the WOLED of this monitor. Returned the 360hz MSI for this model, and couldn't be happier. That said, I do have a sticky menu button, and the menu looks dated and is a bit dumb to navigate.
1080p 480 hz mode at full screen is surprisingly great for older titles like OW, CSGO, valorant, etc. The finals, apex, and others really dont look good at 480hz 1080p. That said, 240hz at 4k is still not limiting me lol. It is nice to have the option, and to optimize game by game... not necessarily for the performance, but honestly to limit how hot my room gets because of these stupid high end graphics cards.
In summary: love the option to change the resolution with a single click, but its the ability to limit the heat output from my graphics card that I like the most. Additionally, I'm a much much bigger fan of WOLED over QDOLED after owning and using both quite a lot.

This monitor is next-level. The OLED panel looks stunning with deep blacks and insane clarity, especially in 4K at 240Hz. Dual mode is a game-changer—switching to 480Hz in 1080p for competitive play is super smooth. Great for both gaming and creative work. Easily one of the best displays I’ve used.

Most of the negative reviews are from basement dwellers that only like glossy screens. I love this thing. Super nice to have that 1080/4k toggle button. I was also surprised how good the speakers are. Picture quality is top notch. The only critique I have is that the price just feels a bit too high.

Great Monitor! Offers great performance in either 4k 240hz mode or 1080p in 480hz mode. I often find myself sticking with the 4k 240hz mode due to the amazing immersion and surreal lighting and fluidity of games I play. I have played on the 480hz mode but not every game supports that so be sure to check what games are compatible beforehand before you buy this with full intention of using all 480hz often. Do a quick check of your games and then make the decision to lock this monitor in.

Handles reflections and brighter room conditions well, unlike QD-oled alternatives. Matte finish on the screen may bother some people. Color vibrancy is comparable to OLED phone screens and tablets, which is great, but can fall behind QD-OLED options. 1080p full 480 Hz is achievable on a few games like overwatch and rainbow six siege with reasonable hardware, otherwise, gamers may find it hard reach that target even at 1080p. Unless gamers have top of the line specs, may find it hard to fully leverage 4K high framerate gameplay potential of this monitor in single player titles without upscaling. I imagine the ability to fully leverage the monitor will improve over time as GPU/CPUs improve. HDR experience is excellent, although some might complain about HDR accuracy. Overall, would recommend over other options if one plays competitive FPS games and wishes to leverage above 240 hz refresh rates.

Excellent picture quality, although you may have to adjust the color profile to fit your preferences. I found the colors to be very natural by default, but some prefer more vibrant/saturated colors.
The built quality is excellent; the frame is made out of a metal and does not creak or bend. The back and stand are made out of a sturdy plastic.
High refresh rates/variable is game changing in combination with oled and fast response times. These new 4k oleds are such a huge step up from anything that came before it, even apple’s own xdr monitor that is several times more expensive than this.
Downside: lacks usb-c port. I am using an Lg usb hub to connect to usb-c which is fine but it’s an additional cost. Also for some reason the monitor turns itself on looking for a signal when I leave the hub connected to monitor, and usb-c charging passthrough.
Another downside is I heard gray uniformity might be bad on some panels, and that was the case for me, but after an image refresh after 4 hours most if not all the bad uniformity is gone.

I went to the Best Buy outlet near me and they had one of these monitors on a great open box deal. The employee let me open the box and inspect the monitor and it was a brand new with not a single piece of plastic taken off. The monitor has zero hours of on screen time as for the monitor itself. I think it is fantastic. The old lead looks great and with a little bit of tinkering, you can get the colors to be pretty good and it works both for gaming and watching movies, especially 4K and HDR ones. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a downside as it isn’t really taking anything away but the worst part of the monitor is the 1080 P4 180 Hertz mode. It’s really not that useful for competitive gaming because you do lose a little bit of input speed when you’re running at a non-native resolution even though this technology is impressive, I still prefer to just run the native resolution.

Excellent picture, the quality you could expect from an OLED monitor with the added benefits of relatively newer WOLED tech. This was an excellent deal on top of the sale ($999) and buying an Open Box Excellent which put this at $799, adding Best Buys Burn In Protection assures this for 4 years at the same price as a new monitor! Very satisfied with my purchase.

This is my first ever oled monitor, and coming from using a tv its a game changer. Crisp colors, contrast, and the dual mode is great for switching to competitive games. I purchased open box to save some money, but it had severe burn in, but upon bringing it back to the store to show them; they gave me a brand new one for no extra cost. Great customer service, and a phenomenal product.

In the midst of the new generation of 4K OLEDs, this monitor is the best for addressing the combination of support for high-end single player gaming and competitive shooters. The ability to go from 4K 240Hz to 1080p 480Hz at the push of a button is perfect for switching between two completely different gaming needs. OLED provides the best color spectrum around, and the response times are second to none. The price tag is steep, but if you're like me and want to play AAA single player games and competitive shooters without having to switch monitors, this monitor effectively acts as two separate products built into one. If that doesn't describe your situation, there are alternative 4K OLEDs or high refresh rate 1080p monitors for FAR cheaper that I would recommend. It's a premium product, so I would invest in having a premium rig to get the most out of it.

Great monitor. Much prefer the WOLED brightness over QD OLED. This monitor is built really well. Be sure to update the firmware right away as the new firmware makes big improvements on the HDR performance.

Loving the colors, refresh rates, and performance of this monitor. Only downside is you need a pretty beefy graphics card to push pixels @ 4k for gaming. There's a noticeable, but tolerable, performance difference compared to 1440p gaming using an RTX 5070 TI. Now that this is side by side with an IPS monitor the old IPS looks all washed out.

Found it hard to justify the price, especially because it was missing a few features to make it feel worth it, such as; USBC, Glossy display (Not a deal breaker, but why not?) An extra DisplayPort wouldn't hurt either. All in all, the monitor image is great, but just left me wondering that I can get better or same quality with an LG C3 or newer, except I would get more for my money. Its a shame, because if LG had included those extra features, people would find it easier to justify the price, but as it is it feels more like a $1000 monitor. The monitor itself is great, but the price not so much.

Bought 3 of these for a work from home setup and are really good. I do architectural work and is perfect for having multiple applications on each monitor and still being visible. I don’t use the stand they come with but quality is really good on both monitor and stand. Does really well on a double monitor arm as well since they are not too heavy of monitors. Highly recommend once you get passed the price point but are worth it if you use it everyday.

New monitor is incredible! Honestly like going from a CRT to a flat screen. Had no idea 4k oled would look this good. If you’re in the market for a new 4k monitor and you’re gaming pc can handle it I would jump on this in a heartbeat. I bought one for my wife and I, no regrets. High refresh rate for 4k and amazing image.

I bought this monitor for my first gaming PC build. I was hesitant about going 4K OLED, mainly for the price, but this monitor is INCREDIBLE. After seeing it on display next to a standard IPS panel, OLED color takes the win and its not even close. All the calibration has been easy and HDR makes it look even better. The Dual Mode 4K/1080 function is cool, however I barely use it due to 4K looking amazing. I am more than satisfied with my purchase and 100% recommend this monitor for anyone in the market for 4K gaming!

The monitor looks great. I wasn't sure what to expect from a matte screen OLED, but it looks great. It actually helps with glare. The high refresh rate is great for gaming, which I've come to expect from LG. It's not as bright as a TV but if the room it is in has blinds, it'll be just fine. The biggest surprise to me was how good the sound quality is.

Great picture and brightness. Can't get rid of the blue overtone despite lots of changes to settings. Firmware updates fixed most other problems. SDR is great, HDR is mostly good but color accuracy is a bit meh for the price of the monitor. Customizing the color values is said to cause an increase in postprocessing
