Easy to set up/use, looks sleek, and very reasonably priced. Plays multiple formats of discs too. Only drawback is no wifi or online features, just a straight forward disc player. Since I have a smart tv and game systems that was no big deal though; I mainly purchased for 4k and HDR. Happy with the player and would highly recommend.

No frills 4K HDR Blu-ray player. I already have multiple streaming devices, so just wanted a basic player to play 4K discs. Not disappointed with picture quality. Better than streaming quality. Discs load up quicker than my other non-4K Blu-ray players. Remote is a bit small.

Purchased to play 4k video. Controls are very easy. Straight forward unit. As most experts say, you'll get the most benefit watching 4k on a tv with HDR. My only wish about this particular unit was that it had Wi-Fi connectivity (vs LAN), otherwise I like it's performance.

This is a great little 4K player. It’s a bit on the cheaper scale, quality wise. Plastic doesn’t seem terribly strong on it, but then again, you’re not exactly throwing it across the room. Upscales nicely, plays all my 4K Blu-ray Discs without a hitch. The only downside is no WiFi, but that’s not a bad thing.

I've had a 4k tv for a while. I was just holding out for a 4k player to come down in price. This one is it. Besides being the same brand as my tv it plays the 4k bds very clear and upscales my other bds. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Wanted basic 4 k player. Wasn’t interested in WiFi or streaming options. Seems to work well. Pleased with price, quality and features.

This 4K disk player has been above & beyond everything it said it would be!!! & I can say with no regrets that I am so very pleased with MY purchase. Due to my knowledge of movie watching experience, I highly recommend this LG product. I currently own almost 4000 movies, soooo...with that said...I think I can say that I'm nearly an expert on the subject of watching movies!!! LOL! ;-) So, with knowing this...I suppose what should follow is the knowledge of what players would be useful to watch these 4000 movies on. So, with ALLLLL this said...I'm going to highly suggest to purchase this AWESOME LG player!!! I PROMISE that you'll enjoy every moment. From the ease of connecting it up, to watching your favorite movies all in less than 15 minutes!!!

Purchased this player because of capabilities in building a home theater system. This goes well with an LG tv and sound system. With its link system it automatically turns on the sound bar and tv when turning on the player. The only drawback as reviewed is its lack of wifi. For the price it was worth it. And the remote is small, user friendly and lacks light up keys to see in the dark.

Well while I was planning on purchasing this during the recent $79 sale they had I end up missing and had to pick it up for $99 instead :( But anyways it has performed as intended. Boots awfully fast, very simple and straight to the point. I just purchased also from BB the new Vizio 2018 65" P series 4k HDR TV. And since I don't want to blow my data caps downloading 4k content I needed something that could put the screen to the test on a needed occasion. So far it has done just that. While I would recommend this I sincerely hope if you do look into this that you buy it during a sale. I don't think its worth the regular price of $130ish.

If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable, and simple 4K player then this is the one for you! Highly reccommended if you aren’t in need of any smart features and just want a player for your 4K discs.

I didn't think 4k and hdr made that much of a difference but when I put on my first uhd Blu Ray I was blown away. This player is very simple to use but doesn't have wifi.

Doesn't have a lot of additional smart options but it gives you what you are looking for the value. It is a good choice in price, quality, and product features.

A budget 4K High Res sound quality Player with no apps or junk to make it easy to just watch your movies. Upscale older movies nicely too worth the money.

This was an impulse purchase in order to spend enough to get 2-year 0% financing on my Best Buy credit card, so didn't do any research beforehand. I was going to go with the Samsung player that has streaming apps, just because I liked the physical appearance more (the LG is just a black rectangular box) but all the Samsung boxes on the shelf were marked as previously sold and returned. That seemed like a bad sign, so I went with the LG. There's not much to say about the LG. It just works. It plays the Ultra HD audio and video formats, including Atmos and HDR10. Blu-Ray and Ultra HD Blu-Ray Discs load very quickly- sometimes so quickly that I don't even see the disc's little loading progress bar animation. My ~5-year-old Panasonic blu-ray player sometimes took 15 seconds or more to load a disc. It pretty much just plays discs- it doesn't have any streaming apps, like Netflix. The more expensive model does, but literally every other device I have connected to my TV, and even the TV itself does, so I didn't need them.

Excellent 4K uhd blu ray player... easy to set up and use... Paired it with my lg Oled tv. The picture from the 4K blu ray is incredible

Great picture quality, I noticed I needed to change the picture settings on the player and you had to do it each time in order to get the best picture. Other than that, it’s one of the better players, I ended up returning it after realizing how rarely I use a 4K player when I can stream movies through other sources like vudu in 4k and Dolby vision which this player didn’t support. Figured if I paid for Dolby vision on my tv I might as well use it so I’ll probably just stream movies until a DV player shows up in this price range in a couple of years. If you don’t have DV I’d definitely recommend this player.

Im using this for my garage TV so I wanted something cost effective without compromising too much on quality. This Blu-ray player fits the bill exactly. Slim design, super low cost (esp with the added student discount), and is a high quality blu ray player. Only concern I had when purchasing is whether it had built in wifi (which it does not). However, I don't think this is a necessary feature for common use. Based on my research, its really only needed to access special features on some DVD's and I never watch those anyway.

We recently added an LG OLED display and matching Dolby Atmos soundbar to our media room and, therefore, needed a way to play UHD movies through them. This LG model offered all the features that we felt we needed, including easy integration into our new A/V system, and was an excellent value. We're very pleased with the performance. btw, we've experienced none of the "motor noise" that some reviewers have commented on so either LG has corrected this problem or we were lucky in getting a very quiet unit.

I read several reviews on this LG 4K player before I purchased it at the beginning of July. I have a 4K smart TV so I didn't need the WiFi option. I wanted a decent player that plays 4K discs and other formats. This LG player fit the bill. Best of all, it was on super sale at Best Buy for $99. How can you go wrong! This 4K player works great with my Smart 4K TV and that's all I wanted. The LG player provides an excellent picture. I is very simple to hook-up and use. I highly recommend!
