I bought this along with my LG Oled 55" TV and LG SJ9 sound bar. There is not too many 4k players out there. I decided to go with this one just to keep it all LG.

This player basically does everything that I expect it to do. My only complaint is that it has no display panel. Seems like that would have been an easy improvement.

Since we purchased an OLED 4k tv we needed a DVD player capable of this quality. This player certainly fits the need! Played our first movie (Star Trek Beyond) and the clarity was phenomenal.

Our old LG DVD player finely bit the dust as something broke in the disc drive. I went to get a replacement and the tossup was between the Sony or the LG. I settled on the LG as we have had very good luck with all the LG products we have purchased.

After reading many positive reviews I decided to purchase the LG - UP970 - 4K Ultra HD 3D Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player. It has many great features and specs along with two HDMI slots. I recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade.

I love this unit! It can play any DVD! I really love that you can shut off the tv and it remembers where you left off, you don't have to scroll thru all the scenes to find where you were!

Didn't work properly with Denon receiver, (audio signal( yet that seems not to be an issue now. This remote has feature for open/ close, which some do.

Bought this player because it claimed that it supported Dolby Vision which currently it does not. Also the only apps which it supports is Netflix and Youtube which is pretty lacking. Definitely gonna be returning this player. The picture quality on this player is pretty average it's nothing special.

No complaints except to say that there is no display of any sort to show how far into the movie the player is (such as which chapter or time-frame).

TheUP970 interfaces real nice with my LG OLED TV. It is clean and straight forward, and plays DVD's well. I usually like more "bells & whistles", but as I used it I realized that it does what it is supposed to do, and quite well.

This Player is fantastic! It is quiet, fast and very responsive. I have zero complaints. I purchased this player when I purchased my LG SJ9 Sound Bar and LG 65C7P OLED TV.

The remote seems to be very much line of sight. Other than that a pretty decent player. Not fantastic. But it gets the job done.

This replaces my old Sony which did not play some of the blu rays that I had bought. I needed a 3D player as most of my collection is 3D and did not wish to depart with them. It has worked flawless since I have bought it.

I have only had it a few day. Tried all formats and they play well. The only issue so far is that I can not get it to play in full screen.

An LG OLED TV with an LG 4K BluRay is a match...if you cannot imagine the comfort afforded by a well-fitting shoe, then you need to reconfigure your brain. These two components make your viewing experience complete. Nuff said.

I purchased it, and unlike the previous review, HDR works. There will be a Dolby vision update when it is ready, but at this point that wont matter because there is no Dolby Vision 4k Blu ray discs yet. The HDR color is great.

This player not only produces fine ultra-high definition video, it has quality audio to match. Throw in network streaming services and you have fine system to work with. Note streaming services require an update to run.

Great player period. Does everything you need plus gives you the option to play 3D movies if you still have a screen that can let you view them. Too bad they stopped making 3D format.
