So far it’s great with sound meaning Bass ect. The volume seems to be on the Low end especially for the size of the speaker.

I've had this speaker for a few weeks and it's been great. Sound wise the bass hits hard and the high end is very crisp and clear. The woofer cone is under the lights in the open section so you can visibly see the speaker working when the lights are on which is a cool feature. My daughter also likes to hold her hand over the woofer and feel the air moving. Connectivity wise it connects to anything bluetooth I've tried very quickly and easily. The range is excellent and will play through all the walls in my house at least 50' so I'm guessing in a large open outdoor area it would go for much longer. It also has a AUX port for plugging in a physical cord or a USB for loading music directly onto a jump drive. The idea of the USB is awesome as you could make a playlist beforehand and the speaker would then be completely independent and play as long as you wanted without any notifications from a phone dinging in or calls interrupting the music. I have not been able to get the USB to work yet though. I'm guessing I'm just not putting the music on the USB in the correct file format but the instructions for that feature in the manual are non-existent so it's a little disappointing. The battery lasts for hours. This speaker will play at a loud volume for an entire night without a problem, or you can plug it into the wall and it will work while plugged in. The lights are a cool feature also. You can cycle through: Off: obviously just no light. Nightlight: just a yellowish white light that is constantly on and lights up the area around the speaker. Cycling colors: This one just changes colors every few seconds in a loop Music light: This one is the party light. It will strobe and change colors to the music. It does a good job keeping up with the beat and makes a fun lightshow. There are controls at the top of the speaker that let you select input, power on/off, volume up, volume down, and play/pause. The only gripe I have is you can skip a track by double tapping the play/pause but you have to have the perfect speed for it to work. Too fast or slow and it just pauses the music, I wish there was more leeway in it recognizing the skip track. Physically the speaker is large. It weighs a good amount but has a nice presence. I have the purple which is a nice color and looks very good just sitting out in a room. The only thing I'm not sure that it is in any way waterproof so if using outside you'd have to be careful with the weather. Overall this speaker is great. I'm guessing I could play music for half my block in the back yard and you could hear it hundreds of feet away at full volume. The sound is great even when cranked up. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good large area wireless speaker.

Great sound. Perfect for get togethers and fun events

With the ability to carry volumes of music on the go, the desire for portable speakers has increased. Many of the portable speakers on the market are good. They check all the boxes necessary. They are portable. They sound relatively good. They make the music louder than just the smartphone can. Of course, the LG- XBoom 360 does all of that, but it does it so much better. The LG – XBoom 360 gives you a truly omnidirectional sound. This is perfect for outdoor parties, a day at the beach, or any other function you might want it to do. The sound is clear. The bass has the boom, but the upper registers are clean as well. The sound from the LG XBoom 360 is better than many other portable speakers I have had. And LG got it right when they called it the XBoom. This speaker can get loud. Set up out of the box is easy. You may have to plug it up to get it charged. Even thought this does have a 10-hour battery life (this may be a bit less than the 10 hours depending on how loud you go and other features you use), I had to charge mine first before I could go portable. If empty, it takes about 5 hours to fully charge. You likely won’t be able to pick this up on the way to the beach and have it work without charging first. Bluetooth pairing is fast and easy. Just push the button on top of the speaker and select the speaker in your Bluetooth settings. That is all it takes. Once you do that, the smartphone will likely have you download the associated app for your speaker. Although it is not necessary for use, it does give you extra features such as lighting effects, equalizer, and other audio features. As mentioned, it does have an LED lighting feature. This is really a nice touch. The LED lighting can flash or change color to the beat of the music. It adds a nice easy visual feel to the sound. Of course, you can turn off the light, but I doubt many will want to. It adds to the overall cool factor of the speaker. The size of the speaker is probably in the middle to upper end of the portable speakers. The overall weight is about 12 pounds, and it is about 20 inches high. But you want that size as it delivers on putting out the sound. So it is easy to take it on the go with you. Overall, I am really impressed with the LG XBoom 360 Portable Bluetooth Omnidirectional Speaker. By itself it is a stylish, well-built work of art, but it really delivers on the functionality. The sound is booming in all directions. I highly recommend the LG – XBoom 360 for anyone wanting a portable Bluetooth speaker.
