Surprised, Great sounds looks good value and price just right.

Flat, Muffled sound from most audio sources and songs due to poor quality speakers and lack of equalizer adjustments. Everything else works fine. It's just pointless to have poor sound. I had a portable boom box from decades ago that sounded way better than this. If you're a mechanic or machinist in a noisy shop, it might work for you. Don't say I didn't warn you. Read other negative reviews. Upgrading to Sony.

Bluetooth is a little bit wonky at times, but other than that it’s great!

I've had this stereo a month now and am happy with its performance. I use a memory stick loaded with songs mostly. I have used the cd player. These features work great. Paired it with my laptop to watch movies and it was almost like being at the theater (almost). Used it to charge my phone and listen to Spotify using Bluetooth. It doesn't want to play using my SanDisk clipsport mp3 player when plugged into the USB..maybe that's not even possible..(who knows because the manual that came with it basically just tells you how to connect the speakers to the main unit. Best Buy offers 3 months free of Apple Music but the link that was sent didn't work. I'm not even sure if Apple music is a thing anymore. ( I'm 49 and never was an Apple fan so I never bothered with iTunes etc) . All in all I'm very satisfied with the performance so far. Great sound and it cranks! Best Buy got it to me 4 days faster than the original delivery date.

Love this mini audio system by LG. It is bass heavy which I love, Bluetooth connectivity so far works great, CD player works great as well. I have not used the USB features yet but I'm sure it will not be problematic. The fact that it doesn't have AM radio is somewhat of a negative but not enough to take away one star. This can be rectified by connecting your favorite AM radio station from the internet via Bluetooth. FM reception is good but can be better using a portable FM antenna readily available. All and all, I Highly recommend this mini-Stereo system from LG and I am glad I purchased this from Best Buy!

Very happy with my purchase. I was in the market for a garage radio and bought this. Sounds pretty good for where it is being used. Easy setup. Bluetooth connectivity works and sounds good. The controls are user friendly. I was worried that the bass would be too overpowering but it isn't, it is just right. The quality seems decent. Very solid purchase.

This is, in my opinion, the perfect system to get you hooked on hi-fi systems. I primarily use this system as the speakers for my TV in our game room. For music it is incredible, especially since it has Bluetooth connectivity. It has a very good range and is very Bass heavy, sometimes too Bass heavy! The sound isn't anywhere near as muddy as I thought it would be considering the price. If you are looking for a sound system to play music loud, and still want it to soundgood then go ahead and purchase this! When it comes to games or movies, I would still recommend this system over any sound bar on the market. It is slightly lacking in the highs and higher mids at low volumes, but that is only if you compare it to something like klipsche reference speakers. My only complaint is, even though it has way more equalizer settings than you will ever use there is no way for you to adjust the equalizer yourself. There are only preset modes you can cycle through. If it had either an adjustable EQ, or a treble boost setting I would give this 5/5 stars all day. At low volumes it can be a little unbalanced, even with Bass boost turned off making it hard to hear dialogue in movies or games. If you have the ability to blare your music/TV then this will not be an issue for you. I highly recommend listening to one of these in your local store if they have it on display before you purchase, as this system gets INCREDIBLY loud when you really crank it up.

I purchased this LG main unit with speakers as a gift, since it has a cd player built it. My mother couldn't be more satisfied with it. Upon easily installing it for her, I cranked it up, and wow. For such a little unit, it packs a huge punch. Also, the bluetooth connectivity it has works like a charm with no dropped connection. It was worth every penny, and definitely super busget friendly compared to other units on the market.

Awesome sound quality and preset sound settings. Easy use remote control. Flawless Bluetooth from cell phone and or TV. Comes with a sub woofer that is loud too. Hard to find any other stereo system with the watts of power and price point this one has. Love it!

This is the greatest boombox ever. I had it for about 14 years and I just bought another one, actually. The old ones still works perfectly, I just found out they're still selling them so I had to buy another one. It's loud, the bass It's super low and it fills my whole house with music. I listen to Punk, Metal, hip-hop, Goth, whatever. It all sounds good on this thing.

First off this stereo was well packaged and neatly wrapped. It took approximately 10 minuets from the time I started to unbox stereo to the time that I started to listening to music. It was very easy to operate this unit. The sound quality was great for the price. This unit is used in a small work shop with a lot of background noise. The xtra bass was a big plus.

This system was packaged very nice a securely. The sound is amazing. Bass holds very well at high volumes no distortion or loss of sound. Well worth the money. Bluetooth connect was simple. Too many features to mention.

This is was fairly inexpensive unit with a lot of great sound to come from it. It maxes out at a 40 on the volume dial but 30-35 does everything that you need it to and more. Easy blue-tooth connection and can connect to multiple things at once. Thesub-woofer does what it should and the other speakers bring in a well balanced sound overall. If you have a chance to pick this up, you should. Space is an issue for me so this was a good fit in 769sqft house.

This is a lot louder than I expected! We bought it for the garage & but then we had other ideas & decided to put it in the living room… & sometimes it’s TOO loud. I really love the sound of this. The only downfalls, in my opinion, are: 1. some songs have a bit too much bass in the sound & it muffles the vocals. However, that could be my fault, as I haven’t spent a lot of time with the EQ. 2. it’s a a pretty large stereo. We currently have it in the living room and it’s taking up some space. But I suppose for the sound quality, it would need to be somewhat bulky. Overall, it’s a great stereo & if you’re looking for loud at a low cost, this is it.

Excellent sound quality! The only thing more that I would ask for is a multidisc CD player. I am enjoying my music collection.

This LG X Boom stereo that I recently purchased was definitely worth the money value. Has an excellent sound quality along with great bass at any volume. The cd player is excellent . No skipping or distortion with any music type. Very satisfied and would recommend this stereo system to anyone.

I bought this system over a year ago for my basement billiards room. Overall, it does what's needed. It has a CD player since I am a young dinosaur who still likes physical media. It also has bluetooth for when I decide to get with the times. The sound itself is pretty good. The reason it gets a two star deduction is the subwoofer is garbage. It's so bad that I took back the first one I purchased thinking the sub itself was flawed. Nope, the second one has the same exact issue. Disable the speakers, play some music, put your hand on or near the sub, and you can barely feel anything. I'm not even sure why it contains bass boost as it doesn't do anything. For the price, I think the system serves it's purpose well. However, I'd rather pay $50 less, or whatever it would be, and not get the sub. It just takes up space and doesn't add to the experience. I don't need rattling walls, but a small sub that came with my parents desktop PC 20 years ago pumped out more on the low setting than this does at all (there is no bass adjustment for this).

We purchased this to have some music in our garage. Sound is great. Can hear it while outside playing or inside even. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth to listen to your own play lists.

Love IT! Got it for my teens for their bedroom. It is easy to use, great clear sound, Bluetooth, my kids ha it hooked up to their tv, the, xbox and they use their phone's to Bluetooth music to it.
