Customers highly value the Identity Advisor for its identity protection features, easy setup, and the peace of mind it provides. They appreciate the alerts for password changes and monitoring of personal information on the dark web, private forums, and social media. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the limited features and the fact that it is a web portal rather than software that can be installed.

Lifelock Identity Advisor was incredibly easy and quick to setup. It does take some time to enter all of your information to ensure the product works effectively with identifying risks, but the basic setup is relatively easy. The app is very user-friendly as well. The product completes an initial dark web scan back to 2008 which is a great benefit if you haven't already been using a product to monitor your identity. It continues to monitor the dark web. Not much has been found yet, but maybe that's a good thing. You also get subscribed to a newsletter that provides some articles to help protect your identity as well. The content overall is ok. None of the content was anything I hadn't heard before. Overall, the product is good and offers some degree of reassurance that your identity is being monitored by a reputable company - Norton.
My only con is that I think it's far more valuable to get a product with broader coverage. For the cost difference, I'd prefer to have a product that provides additional security for all my devices and members of my family while this product is limited to identity monitoring for a single adult.
I would recommend this to a friend

With Identity theft on the rise, I was looking for a shield of sorts. I chose Norton LifeLock Identity advisor. The protection is something I needed to protect my credit and finances. I was impressed by the UI in the dashboard, but it's basic add-on software. I needed more with the current cyber crimes and things of that nature.
To help you monitor things, you have to pay for more features and configuration. It has some features that I like, such as adding several addresses, email addresses, your license, etc. But most of the info that I was alerted to can be found with a general search. I was looking for more control over my credit profile and dark web protection.
I wanted the credit lock feature, but you have to upgrade, which means more money to pay. I didn't research the price for the upgrade, but I have credit protection with my Bank. So that will be enough. Also able to freeze your credit account so I can TransUnion Equifax Experian. But to me, it's an essential piece of software that, if you got more than 360, you don't need it.
