Offers great protection from the elements, while also not compromising on the functionality nor increasing the phone in bulk size. Two things that bother me a bit are the required audio chord to screw into the bottom of the phone to use headphones and the membrane material at the phone ear microphone vibrated and introduced a little static noise to the voice of the person talking.

This case provides great protection to the iPhone 6. However it has one draw back. Because of the plastic that is used to cover the microphone if you try to use the speaker phone you have to speak very loud because your voice is muffled by the plastic. Other than that the case it's great.

They just keep getting better and slimmer while providing the same protection. I am an analyst by day but remodel homes and make furniture by night. As a result of my extracurricular activities I expose my phones to a lot of dust, water, drywall compound, etc. Having a phone case that keeps these elements off my expensive phones is very important but other offerings seem to either provide the protection i want but are too thick or vice versa. For me, this is an ideal case. I will also note a friend got the Fre and in the past (for the iPhone 4) the screen cover seemed cheap and fit loosely on the phone but with the new version for the 6 it was a much better fit so it also seems to be a good option.

The case has the same build quality as previous versions. As a heads up, the case does cause a tinny sound to audio; it helps to open the charge port. I've heard no complaints with this case about phone audio (I heard it all the time with the iPhone 5 case). No loss of quality in photos. Remember that the trade-off is waterproofing.

This is a great product, there is no other one that can protect your iPhone like this case and still keep it thin. But, after a month the bottom cover from the case where you open it to charge it broke the two little pieces that locks it down. I'm in the process of replace it since they have a great 1 year warranty.

This is a great case. Easy to grip and use the charger. Love that it makes the phone waterproof. Only problem I have is that most earphone jacks are to wide to fit in the case hole and disconnect or music cuts in and out. But over all good case

Great waterproof case. I'm around horses a lot so it in washing a horse and in the rain at a show it does a great job with texting people or calling them in the rain. It's nice to know that you don't have worry about it. Sometimes it is hard to hear people though I can't really complain.

Great case overall. Love that the screen isn't sealed behind a layer of plastic. Also love the overall size of the case. Not too bulky. One rub I've got is the space it takes up on screen. Makes it impossible to drag app icons to different screen panels. Other than that, pretty epic case.

This is by far the best over all phone case I have ever purchased. Both light weight and really doesn't add a lot of bulk. However if there is an issue I have is that the port for charging could be a bigger to allow the use of third party cords. I have found only the Apple power cable fits.

I have had a lot of cases and actually had the lifeproof fre first. The build on this case is way better. It's hard plastic and feels solid. All of the functions work well including fingerprint scanner. Literally the only complaint I have is that the case basically renders speakerphone useless. Due to the waterproofing of the phone you have a hard time communicating with someone on speakerphone. Normal operations without hands free seem to work fine. I have had this case for over a month now...the back plastic also tends to scratch easy but I would rather that than my phone getting scratched. If you are looking for a lifeproof case...this is it

This is a great case to protect against water damage and it is not too thick. I also like the fact that the screen is not covered like the fre. It also works great with my glass screen protector. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for good protection and slim case.

This is an amazing case. It's nice to be able to know that if I drop it on concrete or in a pool, my phone is safe. The only dislike is that sound does become distorted when viewing videos. That's a small compromise when you consider how safe your phone is.

I use this case at the pool and when I go to Florida where it rains at random. Forget about using a charger cable other than the Apple cable because the charging port is very small. As always, the sound is muffled to an extent due to it being a sealed case.

This case is great for protection but I couldn't hear out of it very well. My friends and family couldn't hear me very well either which would make it difficult to have discussions over the phone. I also wasn't getting really good quality pictures. Another thing that sort of bothered me was that I wasn't able to swipe and use the control panel (like the flashlight butting or to change music.) This case is great for protection whenever I go out on roller coasters,snowboarding or kayaking but that's once in a blue moon. This case isn't really an everyday case and for as much as it cost. I would hold off until you think you might seriously need to consider getting an extremely protective case.

This product was good for the first few months. For a product with a lifetime warranty I was surprised at how easily parts broke off. The first to break was the charging port cover. Didnt have the case for more than 3 months and it stopped closing all the way. Then the plastic over the home button ripped on the iphone 6. The case itself caused issues with sound on my phone and the rubber on the sides eventually wear down. For the price I paid I expected the quality of the product to be way better then it was especially when this product is supposed to protect your phone from water, damage and more.

Overall I like this case. Pros: it's waterproof. Cons: it's pricey and the ringer switch when the case is on is hard to use. The case at that point split open. Which means no longer waterproof. I will return for another case

This is the third Lifeproof case I've purchased and I will have to say that it had lived up to its reputation as a tough case that is good against drops, and I've had my share of drops with no iPhone damage. That said, this case has shortcomings. Two things I noticed right away. The sound coming out is significantly diminished by the case. On a phone call on speaker phone, the person on the other end couldn't hear me easily from 1 1/2' away. Second thing I noticed was that the membrane covering the fingerprint identification area was thick enough to reduce the effectiveness of unlocking the prob without using your four digit code. That was frustrating! But the thing I worried about most was how long the door covering the charging port would hold up to daily opening and closing. The answer was: less than a month. The plastic tabs broke off and that rendered the case no longer waterproof. One other point of concern was how the edge of the case is higher and closer to the keyboard edge. As a result, my thumb keeps having trouble correctly hitting the intended keys. One last thing of note. The iPhone 6 ringer button is so small that getting the corresponding button on the case to work properly was very finicky and often wouldn't work to shut it off or turn it on. That is also a problem on the current Lifeproof 6 case that I also have (that suffered the same charger port door failure). On a positive note, I went online to file my claim and found the process to be very effective. When I called the customer service number, I spoke to a real person who couldn't have been more obliging or helpful. For a $4.98 handling fee for warranty, they have already expedited getting me a new case and indicated that the charger port door is an acknowledged issue that they are working to correct, hopefully by the end of the year. Now, I just hope that the replacement holds up until the corrected version becomes available!

I have purchased the lifeproof nuud for my iphone 5 and iphone 6. It has never disappoint me and it lasts for about a good two years if taken care of properly. It is waterproof and shockproof. I have dropped it over 50+ times and not once has my phone chipped or screen cracked. I personally prefer the nuud over the fre because I did not like the screen cover on the fre. With the FRE it feels like there's space between the phone and built in screen protector. The nuud is better because you get to touch your screen without water damaging the rest of the phone.

The only case that make makes my phone look sleek while still protecting my phone completely. The only issue is that the charging port cover sometimes breaks but Best Buy will replace the case with ease.

nice protective case. Not as bulky as in the past. I recommend for those who really want to protect their phone but remember to follow the directions as to how to put the case on to ensure proper protection!
