I have always used the defender... but the screen protector distorts and interferes with talking/listening... This case alleviates that and provides the same great protection Still waterproof

I had the otterbox since I got my phone and was very disappointed with pretty much everything on it. Since I got the life proof case I have not had a single issue. It has gotten wet and been dropped in the dirt due to my job and held up above my expectations. The only issue is that the speaker is muffled due to it being water proof so I am not going to fault it for that since it is what it is designed to do. Overall I am very pleased with the life proof nuud and will continue to get life proof products!!

Nice case and great protection. All phone ports and amenities are functional with this case. One slight draw back is people have trouble hearing me while talking on the phone.

I really like how easy it was to put on and take off. The only issue I have is that it distorts the sounds a little if you are playing music/video with built in iPhone speaker.

I bought the LifeProof case for my husband. He loves it. He especially likes that there isn't a cover or film over the screen so he is directly touching his phone screen. He hasn't had any major issues with the case. It keeps his phone safe from everything it claims to. The only issue we had with the case is that the piece that closes over the phone charger port broke and wouldn't close, but this is covered under the warranty and LifeProof sent us a brand new case immediately.

This case has been a life saver when I go to the beach! I love that I don't have the thick screen protector on my screen. The only downside is it's hard to hear me while on the phone sometimes but I don't use this as my everyday case. Only for the beach or if I'm going to be out around soemthing where it could be damaged with a normal case. It's not bulky eithet like some of the older otter box cases were.

The design is good. I haven't dropped in water yet to test it out. Sound sucks on it. People can barely hear me, and if you have phone on speaker, sounds is even worse.

Really like the case great protection in a slim design only thin people complain that I'm muffled when they talk to me

The NUUD case gives my phone the best protection with the least bulk. I'm embarrassed to say that just after installing the case I dropped the phone 3 times on blacktop in the course of an afternoon with no problems, not even a mark on the case. This is the only case that I've had where the touch ID works every time, first time. I don't know if its the case or a trick I tried by putting my thumb print in 4 times. Its been working without a glitch for over 3 months.

This case feels great and is about as slim of a case you can get and still have all the protection Lifeproof offers. The only downfall is how expensive they are.

The case is an improvement from the iphone 5 cases we previously had and we liked those. Thinner and easier to handle. The case is more sleek and I like that the adapter plug is attached to the case now. My only problem is a pretty big annoyance. The ability to use any other charger or base while having the cover on is possible. You will need to take the cover off in order to use your Sony alarm clock or any other BELKIN rapid charge charger. Pretty big inconvenience.

I was a little skeptical on the reliability of this case and its new sealing feature. Although I haven't been lucky enough to have my phone submergered in water, this case is still great even for light water exposure (rain). Not having the built in screen case makes this a definite buy, and I love how they have bulked up the case around the home button, so there shouldn't be anymore wear and tear on the plastic there. I recommend this case.

Have lived with the case for about a month. Love the peace of mind this case gives me (previous phone went in the lake and another water damaged by kids). Only two drawbacks: 1. If you don't use the provided headphone adapter, make sure your headphone jack is as thin as possible - most won't work, but apple headphones do. 2. Really like being able to touch the actual screen on the nuud, but swiping from lower bottom sometimes does not work because case gets in the way of lowest and topmost part of swipe area (when you want to bring up camera, access flashlight, etc). The boyfriend travels a lot and needed a rough and tough case since his other failed him. He doesn't like the screen covered, so this one works well.

I've already dropped my phone the same day my son dropped his. He had an OtterBox defender and his screen was shattered but the life proof held up well and my phone is in great condition still. Unfortunately Sounds from your phone sound horrible with this case on and you cannot use a aftermarket lightning cable with the case on. I could not even use apples adapter for a projector with the case on. I hate taking a case on and off a phone

Doesn't add much weight but adds great protection and waterproofing! Great for the summer!

The case has great protection and works great except for when it come to sound quality the sound is very muffled and has vibrations sounds

While these cases do protect your phone, there are better options at much better prices. I recommend only because these will serve some.
