As it stands, no one can hear you, unless you open the Lightning cable flap, and even then, you sound far away. Texting sounds like your phone is getting into a street fight. That said, it is waterproof and very durable. So, if you don't use your speakerphone, it's still a great purchase.

We’re sorry that this Nuud case is giving you some audio problems. This is not normal and you shouldn’t have to open the charge port door to make things better.
Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

Horrible reverb with this case on the phone.

The calls I make are severely hindered in quality because of a horrible tone that is created within the speaker and mic once the phone is snapped inside. I haven't even bothered with trying to send it back. Just ready to move on. I do not recommend this product.
