Not water proof. Not shock proof. I am really disappointed.

So I picked up this case the other day and put it on. When I put it on I noticed it rocked back and forth when out on the back and would only lay flat when the screen is facing down. I thought that it was because of the protruding camera so I didn't think it was an issue. Then I also noticed that my case doesn't seal correctly on the top and bottom the sides do but the top and bottom doesn't. The worst part is that I don't know weather or not it is just my case that is faulty or that life proof has made such a bad product that all of them don't seall right on the top and bottom. I'm honestly thinking about returning it because of this. You can also soo on the top of my phone that the case is wavy and not totally straight. This case is not worth 90 bucks at all and would not recommend it. Second of all if your phone gets wet with it on they won't even replace the phone only the case. Which is total nonsence. I'm going back to my speck case and won't be looking back. I'm just mad that I had to take my brand new glass screen protector off to put this case on. Just to go and have to buy a new one. I am not happy with this product. I hope you guys have a better experience with this product. I hope it's just me and not the product as a whole. I loved the nuud on my 5 and wish the 6 was to the same quality.

Absolutely love this case! It's super sleek and fits perfectly in my pocket without pulling my pocket inside out each time I take it out. I love that it's waterproof, took it to the beach and took pics of my kids playing in the water without fear of ruining my iPhone. HOWEVER, it makes the quick settings menu and notification pull down menus hard to get to. If it weren't for that, it'd be a 5+ star review!

This is my first and last LifeProof product. It had great reviews so I opted to spend more and see for myself. My biggest concern is dropping more-so than waterproof but it is still a cheap design for the charging door. Given the price of this product to other competitors, go with the competitor. 1. The charging port cover will only accept factory sized Apple chargers. So, if you have a car charger, or aftermarket cable with a sturdier connector, it will not fit. 2. The charging port cover breaks after about a month because of the cheap plastic tabs that are supposed to keep it latched closed. So much for waterproof. Not a deal breaker for me since I don't swim with it so more interested in shock. 3. You sound like you are in a tunnel to other callers if they hear you at all; best option is to use headset. 4. Touch-ID is now flaky which is troublesome. 5. This is minor but but don't like having to use a special adapter in order to plugin a headset. I guess I could go wireless and eliminate this problem but wanted to note for those who may not be aware.

The case itself has a sleek design, but that's about it. Unless you use Bluetooth all the time for calls, forget talking through the receiver. You can hear people on the other end, but it's muffled. When it comes to people hearing you, epic fail. Also, only Apple brand Chargers will fit in the charge port. If you're like me, you tend to buy off brand chargers to save a few bucks. I will just stick to using my tempered glass screen cover and my otter box. Lifeproof really needs to take a look at the reviews for their product.

I've been a die hard Lifeproof fan since I got my iPhone 5. The case looks great and I love the improvements. However, the charger port is smaller than the previous versions, which causes a few of my cords to not fit. Other than the cord, great product!

Works as advertised to keep phone safe, secure, dry and you can take great video in worst conditions. Sound quality is very muffled and people will always know you have this kind of case on your phone (sounds like you are in a cave or underwater) unless you are wired or on bluetooth.

This case is great, I have dropped my phone plenty of times and it has not yet cracked. However, it is hard to talk on the phone with the case and the sound to my speaker is now limited.

Case looks beautiful, is water proof and is sturdy. BUT, when making calls it will almost always cause a blood curdling screech that is only audible on my side of the call (It's the case, I made sure by going without the case for a week). Also the clasp that shuts the charging area broke in about two months of use ( I only charge my phone once a day).

Compared to the LifeProof nuud for the iPhone 5s, this case is thinner and has a refreshed design. This case is just as great and is still waterproof, shockproof, and dust proof as advertised. I really like the new design and how thin the case is compared to previous generations of the case. Talking using speakerphone is kind of muffled but it's not to the point where it's an inconvenience.

I thought this would be a great purchase. Loved the idea of having a water tight case. The bummer is, you can not use anything but the stock Apple cable. I am a musician and use several different accessories. I need to take the cover off every time I use them. What do we think this will do to the integrity of the seal after removing and replacing the case multiple times a day? I ground down my aftermarket connector so can use my cable in my car. This is not possible with all my accessories for music. Cool idea but they totally missed the boat on the design. Such a simple fix. I am giving my life proof case away and going back to the pelican. Not water tight but every bit as rugged. If life proof could make two simple improvements, it would be awesome... 1. Make the charging opening a little larger so after market cables can fit. 2. Make the opening for the headphones just a tiny bit larger. You can jam the stock Apple earbuds in but it takes some force. Otherwise you will need the provided connector to be with you ALL THE TIME. Too bad really. It's got awesome potential.

I don't know what other people are talking about. I just bought an iphone 6 and put this case on. Great fit and comes with a thin screen protector. I have made several calls and have had no issues with sound. I can hear the other person fine and they hear me fine. Love this case

Loved my lifeproof fre for my 5s, so i knew about lifeproof beforehand but the nuud is better. I like the direct screen access. No glare anymore. Seals very tight. I work in the weather in the Pac NW and have no hesitation pullin out my phone in the rain. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is cuz i think they should have put a little better grip on it. With a phone as big as the 6, i have to two hand it to be confident about not dropping it

Good case. Definitely waterproof and I like that there isn't anything covering the screen. Only reason it is not 5 stars is because a clip on the charge port cover broke about a month after I got it. Good news is that life proof replaced it and the process was really easy

Just want to share my experience with this product as I purchased it without reading reviews as, I thought anything Lifeproof was as good as it gets! First of all I will,say that this case is slim for a protective case. It looks good as well. What I wasn't expecting was that when calling the person on the other end either can't hear me and hangs up , complains about my voice cutting in and out and at best complains of my voice being to low. My only conclusion is that the case is covering my phones microphone. This phone has great protection but, is not useable for phone calls! I had to get rid of it and was so, frustrated by the experience .. needed to save others the same experience.

It's an ok case but three things suck 1 scratches the back too easy 2 the speakers are hard to hear 3 WAITED TO LONG FOR THIS CASE

Its much better than the Fre and plus you get to still use your screen without the plastic protector with is still being waterproof of course Ive reinforced it with the glass sheet....

I was lucky enough to find this case at an extremely reduced price so the value is great. I have yet to test its ability to stay waterproof completely submerged underwater but it has been splashed without issue. It also has been drenched from sweating workouts without any problems. The case is pretty slim considering the impact protection you get but it has a rubbery exterior so it does stick inside of pockets but not a big deal for me. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

This is my second iPhone I have bought a Lifeproof case for. I loved the product so much I did not even think twice about looking at another brand when I upgraded to an iPhone 6 from my iPhone 5c. The problem is - this is the biggest rip off of a phone case I have ever experienced. You may as well take your money and flush it down the toilet. Yes it is lightweight, and slim, but it is also so flimsy that the cases just continue to break. I had my case maybe two months and had to exchange it because the door (that you have to open and close to be able to charge the phone) broke and would not shut. I hoped that was just a fluke. Then three weeks after I got my new case, the exact same thing happened. Then the small clip that holds the piece that plugs the headphone jack snapped off. After THREE weeks. Worse than all of this was having to deal with "Monica" from customer service who instead of being empathetic to my frustration was downright rude. I tried everything I could to get my money back for this case, and I was given zero options besides "waiving the $5 shipping fee" they were also trying to charge me when I did a warranty claim. There is also no way I trust this constantly breaking case to be waterproof. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE!!!!!!!! Save yourself the headache. Please. I was a the biggest Lifeproof supporter. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN.

I honestly have always loved Lifeproof. The protection it has offered for my past phones has been outstanding. That being said I am very disappointed in this case. The clasp to the charge port has broken on me multiple times, something in the prongs that snap it close breaks after only having the case for a month or so. Lifeproof has replaced atleast 3 cases for me, however I am sick of worrying if the port is tight enough to be water proof. Again the case protection and look is great but if youre looking for something that remains waterproof for atleast a few months this isn't the case for you. Mind you I take care of my cases and properly install them. This a defect within this whole case as friends have told me its an issue with their Lifeproof nuud cases for Iphone
