I will never buy regular bulbs ever again. I've become spoiled with using my phone or the amazon Alexa to turn them on or off. I also have roommates and if one of them forget to turn the lights off and they're at work and I'm out I can turn the lights off so I'm not wasting electricity. Absolutely amazing.

I tried it for a couple of days connected to my living room ceiling fan console because we broke the chain that turns the light off/on-- currently it is perpetually on. Instead of changing the whole ceiling fan console, I wanted to install lights so I still control the lights without the chain. 1) the bulb size itself is not standard-- it was barely fitting in the ceiling fan casing-- it was crooked 2) the connection on it drops. I had to recalibrate it every so often-- and it's a ceiling fan it's connected with so I had to do get a ladder, etc all the time I need to reset the bulb. It's a pain to use. I ended up getting a Philips hue because the hub is remotely connected so it's easier to reset.

I love this light. I have security cameras. This light allows me to view night vision much more clearer when you adjust the light through my WiFi or google home. Changes colors

Great smart lights if you only need a few. They work great and easily automate with IFTT "recipes". Being able to control each light individually or as a group is advantageous, as is being able to adjust the color temperature.

Easy to setup and easy to use. Integrated with Smartthings and works great either. Also set up another standalone. App can be a little much but still all in all a good buy.

I have about 8 of these in the house now. They work great with the Amazon Echo and they don't require any type of hub. Screw them in and connect to the with the iOS app to set them up. You can turn them on and off with your phone as well from anywhere.

These bulbs are great! I have them for myself and I have given them as gifts too.

The wifi light buld actually works well with the Amazon Echo device. Wasn't that difficult to setup either. Plan to purchase a couple more bulds

I researched the many available smart bulbs before deciding on the Lifx. It works great with Amazon Echo and does not require an additional hub.

I really like this light and it does a great job of lighting up my office. I still prefer the flexibility of the color version though.

Okay so most of these WIFI connected devices always sound good in theory but the supporting APP is hard to deal with or doesn't work. Why buy a product that you can't interact with. The LIFX companion app works great!!!

Nice low cost solution for a wifi enabled light bulb. The application could be better but overall a great product for the price.

For $39.99, I'd like the light bulb to work the way it's supposed to...100% of the time. It really only works the way it's supposed to maybe 20% of the time. The bulb doesn't maintain connection with my wifi (I've tried it in standard lamps as well as 3-stage/dimming lamps) especially if I leave the house and come back and reconnect my phone to the wifi. In order to get it to work again, you have to manually turn off the lamp with the bulb in it and turn it back on again. Long story short, it's not worth the money.

Gives off just enough light, it is a soft light not harsh.

I have been having trouble with the app. It loses one of the bulbs. Then it reappears. Why? The app needs work. Please fix this. Otherwise I am happy with them.

Great product. Always works. Uses wifi to establish link. Works with ifft. Works with Alexa. I have about 10 Lifx bulbs in my house. They blink red blue when the Patriots score a touchdown using IFFT.
