    Three out of five stars because sometimes this bulb losses WiFi connection and has to be reset. It’s also expensive for what you get. Otherwise it’s fine and I like that it’s dimmable.

    Bought this light for our hallway light and worked good for a while but then it started to get a mind of its own. Would turn on randomly in the middle of the night. Switched to a Phillips Hue bulb.

    I purchased 2 of these bulbs not even 4 months ago, and now they are both dead. They were in different fixtures and died at separate times. I had to do my own trouble shooting because LIFX customer service is a joke. Pretty upset to have dropped $25 per bulb that didn't even make it to a year.

    I was going to integrate this into my smart home setup, I currently have lots of Hue bulbs and WeMo products working with both Echos and Google home...This was almost impossible to integrate, so I returned it... I'll stick with Hue.

    I have an assortment of LIFX bulbs from the original color to second gen white and now third gen. I’ve tried several other brands as well - LIFX, in my opinion, is the best. They’re solidly built, their app is well designed and reliable, colors are vibrant and there are no hubs to buy or install. With these, the 3rd gen minis, they also look a little more like “normal” lightbulbs and fit in tighter fixtures.
