The kids live turning these lights off before bed using Alexa. The colored lights would be cool too but these work great and are cheaper. Great buy in my opinion

I setup up my lights in the Apple Home app which was as easy as scanning the QR code and putting in the lamp in the socket, no new standalone app was required which makes for a really easy setup process. I bought these as they have a much lower entry price point compared to setups that require a bridge and so far I have not been disappointed.
Once connected the lights respond well to any changes and I have not had any issues with disconnecting lights or lights not responding.
Great product overall with a very easy and convenient setup.

THIS LIGHT IS VERY HELPFUL, I CAN TURN IT ON OR OFF FROM MY PHONE WITHOUT HAVING TO GET UP AND IT WORKS WITH ALEXA DEVICES YOU CAN ALSO DIM IT TO WHATEVER BRIGHTNESS YOU LIKE. IT IS DIFFICULT TO CONNECT ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS OR INTERNET CONNECTIONS AND SOMETIMES IT HAS PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO YOUR DEVICES LEAVING YOU UNABLE TO USE IT

LIFX bulbs are such a great way to get into the whole SmartHome thing as they just go straight into your normal fittings and connect to your WiFi network instead of needing a bridge to control them all. They’re super simple and quick to set up with your devices regardless of iOS or Android use.
These particular bulbs are good starters as they’re cheap to buy and don’t have too many features to worry about.

I feel like i got a standard lifx bulb because honestly it to me is about the same brightness as the standard Lifx Mini white 800L. The onyl real way to tell the difference is to have them right next to each other and even then its not that noticeable.
This 650L is perfect for a desk lamp and at full brightness it works perfectly fine too. The only thing i will say is that if you are mixing lifx bulbs make sure you adjust the brightness individually otherwise this bulb might be darker than the others.
Oh and lastly, for anyone with a techy background.
This bulb consumes between 0 and 0.3w while off, and about 10.3w on. I will say however the voltage in my home is significantly higher than it should be, at 137v so that might be a reason for the slightly higher power draw, but honestly under normal use i leave the lights at about 40% brightness anyway, so in all actuality its only consuming about 4watts of power. (also fun fact, due to how LEDs work, up to about 70% is when it exceeds 5watts for me, reaching 10.5 at maximum brightness.)
1%: 0.5w
15%: 0.7w
30%: 1.1w
45%: 2.2w
60%: 3.5w
75%: 5.5w <--Best ideal brightness Level
85%: 7w
95%: 8.8w
100%: 10.3w
Hope this helps!

The reason for the 4 stars, is that I use these for my living room lamps and I wish they were a little brighter. I should have chosen the brighter bulbs. But this works great with Alexa! After using the Alexa skill for LIFX bulbs. It works great. Love the app on my smart phone too. If you are out of town and want to turn on your lights. You can use the app from anywhere to turn on the great lights!

This LIFX mini is great for bedroom lamp as it does not get too bright. At $20, it is one of the most affordable smart light that you can find. Like all of the LIFX lights, this one do not require a separate hub to work and connects directly to your home WiFi network. They also work with all personal assistant. I use mine with Siri and setting up with HomeKit is very simple through the LIFX app.

Works as advertised, easy to setup, easy to use. Pretty much compatible with everything. Took less than 5 minutes to set up several bulbs, add them to a group and control them with Alexa/echo/wink. After testing several different brands, this one had the least amount of bugs, errors, had fastest setup and updated firmware

This bulb is supposed to be 650 Lumens but honestly it seems like its more around the 800 lumen level. I only say this because when i compare it to my regular lyfx bulbs it has the same output when fully bright (or, they could just be old and wearing down too) However when you lower the brightness level you then notice a massive difference in brightness, especially around the 50% mark where this bulb is significantly more dim, though thats a good thing. i rarely keep my lights fully lit anyway, and for the most part i like my room darker.
Either way this bulb does exactly what its supposed to do, and has no bells or whistles to it other than a timer.
It just sucks that the timer fails to operate if the lightbulb disconnects from the internet. That seems completely dumb to me, when you have competitor products able to operate their timers when there is a network outage or issue, but not this one.

I bought these bulbs to use for security purposes. Did not want a hub, so the LIFX brand stood out. Setting them up was easy and they work as intended. I took off one star because occasionally one will go offline. Turning the bulb off then back on restored connection. A small annoyance but happy with them overall.

Easy to set up. No hub required. Didn't need or want color, so the mini white was very affordable. I can tell my phone through google assistant to dim or brighten the light - same for turning it on or off. This is useful when I'm not sitting next to the light. It's also nice to turn a light on before I get home.

Works great with Alexa. No issues after 6 months on 2 of these. Also the app for it for iphone isnt bad at all. Comes with widgets on your iphone to easily tap on buttons to turn on and off. The range of brightness is also very good.

I bought five of these for my basement to connect to my Google home setup via Google Wi-Fi. When they work they are a fantastic/cheap alternative to other more well known brands of smart light bulbs. But they sometimes lose connection and at random times and it not every bulb either. Very random, don't know if it's one of those "you get what you pay for" issues. The connectivity issues are just past the annoying stage so I'll keep them for now, but have found some greater successes with TP Link brand lights.

Easy to setup, good value! I like them because it's not LED white, rather close to regular light bulb's warm glow, and of course, energy efficiency. I use these to replace overhead recessed ceiling lights @ 65W per, now they're only 5W per.

After several unsuccessful attempts at purchasing multiple dawn and dusk lights for my front door; we went to BestBuy and discovered the LIFX bulb was easy to install and can be operated with My Amazon Echo or the LIFX app.

Easy to set up on Android phone or tablet. Just make sure not to use the WIFI 5ghz setting during set up because that won't work. Besides that a piece of cake. I use Alexa to control all my lights.
