I would highly recommend this product to a friend, however this review is going to be an honest one. The color choices, the brightness, the effects. Are all AMAZING! However, setting up the product (I have IOS) was a pain in the butt. It took me literally 3 hours to set up 2 light bulbs! With the app not finding the light bulbs and me having to factory reset them 7-9 times to be able to both lights and not just one. Not only that but my wife isn’t used to the whole “WiFi Smart Bulb” yet and keeps turning off the switch and guess what has happened every... single... time. You guessed it! Have to reset everything and sync it all over again! It’s been working fine now but the initial set up was a HUGE headache.

These are amazing lights! so many features and The app is great! they work great with siri! easy to connect and control!

I must admit, I am a smart home enthusiast and was skeptical about using smart light bulbs. I just did not think it was worth the price. Well, I wanted a way to provide my kids with flexible lighting for their lamps. I saw this on sale and decided to take a chance. Great product! My kids love using their Echo devices to control their lighting. I especially like being able to manage them as a night light and the fact that they work with Samsung SmartThings.

This light is a lot of fun. Love having the different type of colors. Easy to connect and use. I have this same light in every room.

i recommend this little guy to EVERYONE. The light bulbs are great the beams are greats the only lights I did not like were hose light strips because they are very EASY TO BREAK. Every other lifx brand product is just the T I T S ! That being said if I were to give it a critic , I would like to see more customizable features for lighting effects through the app, it has what it has, but was left wanting more. In terms of the the quality and use, top notch, no hub required, easy to set up and the light bulbs will cover the entire room!

Light works great. Setup is pretty straightforward, just remember that the QR code is included in the packaging. App is pretty easy and customizable.

I prefer the LIFX bulbs over the Hue, because no hub is needed. And the new minis are great, just as bright as the originals, but in a smaller package

I spent an hour trying to set up on my iPhone. It will force you to use HomeKit for setup and tries to get you to scan a barcode. I could not find the barcode anywhere and kept trying to do it, until eventually i realized the BARCODE is in the INSTRUCTIONS. Once I figured that out, setting up was a breeze but I felt annoyed I wasted an hour, my own fault I guess. After setup it works great and integrates with Alexa and Google well. Is it worth it? I feel like it was a bit pricey for what it does, but it gets the job done without any hub necessary unlike Phillips hue.

Bought one for fun. Ended up buying $250 worth of these bulbs. Setup for Apple Homekit is a bit of a pain, but works once you get the firmware upgrade. Reconfiguration is required if your internet or WiFi drops. THAT is a pain. Bulbs drop off WiFi frequently. Grrrr. Requires reconfiguration. Have one Mini that flat died after 2 weeks and would not power on. Taking it back today. A bit expensive, but I haven’t given up yet, but will not buy more until they get a new firmware upgrade to address the dropping issue. WARNING: Wives HATE these things!

I have a lot of Nest devices and these bulbs from LIFX communicate with Nest products great! When the Nest cam sees you, you can set these bulbs to turn on be it a stranger deterrent or simply to light the room before you walk in. They also work with the Nest protect as a visual warning if the smoke/co detection occure by flashing a bright red and white, so if I'm or anyone outside will see something is wrong. Safety aside, the mood setting and color options are fantasic. A must have. I have 3 and plan on getting more for the rest of the rooms eventually.

The LIFX brand has been a great addition to our home. They work well with the app and can be controlled from home or when you are out. A hub was not required to operate which is an added bonus. The lights are customizeable. There is preset options as well as an endless choice of colors. Additionally, you can paint your own designs if you have multiple lights. We have 4 bulbs in our living room in addition to the light strip. The lights also have effects, our favorite being the candle mode which you can make subtle or intense. Great product.

I love this gadget bulb. It was easy to set up and lots of moods and different colors. I love the Red specially. It was very affordable too.

This bulb is so simple to setup it is so much better than philips hue much better colors and app & you don’t need a bridge.

My wife and I live off lamps, we never use our normal over head lights and these bulbs are perfect for our table/smaller floor lamps. I bought the four pack, put one in my cheap IKEA lamp and a few in other lamps, the colors are great, I love the deep orange in the whites. I usually leave them at 70% because where they are aimed is too bright for full brightness. I got my wife's grandfather into Philips Hue for its simplicity and comparing his to mine, all I can say is LIFX all the way!

I like the size of this one over the first version. idol have issues with it connecting from time to time but it might be where I have it located.

Just picked these up yesterday and installed last night. These lights are a game changer! They are definitely one of those things that you don’t think you need until you finally have them and once you have them wonder why or what took you so long to get them. I love that I can have full control of all my lights and the fact that I can now control my lights using my Alexa voice commands. I just ordered another set of four because I am now hooked.

Very bright with a wide range colors. They dimmed well when grouped together and controlled with a dimmer.

Replaced all lights downstairs with these. Setup was easy for Home kit. They work great and fun to set color scenes for playoffs.

I am really enjoying this brand. Works well with Alexa. A bit pricier than some other brands though.
