I have this strip behind my 65" tv and it faces a dark gray wall, this thing shines bright! It lights it up perfectly, plus some. The only down side was the 3M strip on the back wasn't very sticky so it fell off and is taped up differently, but that's a small draw back.

My favorite led strips available. Just beautiful. So customizable in the app. Able to paint on the strip, make the lights sync to music, the possibilities are endless. Very bright and vibrant colors as well. Will definitely be getting more Z strips.

These lights work perfectly with the Amazon Echo and look great. They are easy to attach to any surface and the voice control works well. I used the extension kit as well which is nice for adding more lights.

Lifx lights by far have the best quality, color and brightness. MAKE SURE NOT TO BEND WHEN INSTALLING, CAN DAMAGE THE LIGHTS.

Excellent quality for price. Only issue I have with these is the flexibility of sharp corners. I put them on the back of our 55” TV for ambient light and it’s impossible to take corners (follow the rectangle contour on the back of the TV) without it bubbling up. A necessary evil for the experience but well-worth it otherwise

Woah these loghts are mosdef awesome. They can go to the beat of your music or change randomly. There is plenty of other great effects on here and u control it with ur phone

The lights look great, they have a variety of colors, themes and schedules. But in a smart home where the lights need to be controlled by Google or the App it becomes extremely frustrating when you can’t turn the lights on/off without some gymnastics to reach the outlet. I’ve followed the advanced guidelines from LIFX on adjusting my router settings but that didn’t help much. I’ve tried another unit in different locations closer to the router and didn’t help either. Unfortunately I’ll have to return these lights.

Love the accent lighting. This is above our bulk head and has an unlimited variation of colors combined with themes and options to color segments in the strip. I have been using LIFX for 5 years and have 7 bulbs and this strip to light our home.

I love these, I used them for bias logging on my Sony X900E, but the sticky back isn’t very sticky and I thoroughly cleaned the back of the tv with rubbing alcohol before installing. I ended up super gluing them on

LIFX products far exceed the performance of any comparable product offered by competitors. After installing LIFX in our living room I had to remove another brand because the color looked washed out.

I have been using this light from 1 and half year. This light is a game changer, looks amazing and can control through app on phone, no need to trun on and off physically.

I am using this for background light on tv and I love the experience with it.

I am giving a generous two as I have owned these strips for several years now and recently bought some more. I assumed they had gotten their bugs worked out With intermittent issues and partial strips not working, but I was wrong. I have a service ticket in for a warranty claim, and though they agreed to ship a new strip after three months of work on my party, they said with supply issues, it may take longer than usual. That was two months ago. I am giving it two stars for its unique functionality and would give it five if it wasn't for these frustrating issues that seem easy to fix.

Drops WiFi signal all the time. When it works, it works great. But when it doesn't, I'd rather just throw it in the trash.

I searched for months on reviews for the best multi-color capable smart lightstrip for my 65" TV and narrowed it down to this or the similar TP-Link Kasa product. Ended up selecting this as it contains ~10' versus some the shorter length ones that sell for less. The 10' covers three sides of my 65" TV, but not all the bottom side. I like that it's the brightest product compared to others, can set multiple customization colors, and the mobile app is feature-rich and usable. I only wish this was 30% less in price as this is one of the most expensive.

I had been looking at connected light strips for a while, but didn’t want to deal with the hub for the Hue product taking up one of my open network ports. I waited for this to go on sale and picked one up. The Good: -Perfect length to backlight a 65” tv -No hub needed -Easy setup, from installation to app setup. -Alexa integration works very well and lets you set color and brightness in routines or on demand. -Works with HomeKit -Zoned function allowing different colors for different portions of the strip looks great Cons -The plug is bulky if you’re installing behind a wall mounted TV -No 90 degree connnectors included for flat installs (like the back of a tv). That means you have to create a loop in the strip at the corners. Not a deal breaker, but not the cleanest look.

I bought these to compare them to my hue lights and though they get brighter in some shades I wasn't really overly impressed. They did good, work great but its like ok I could go either way for the applications I use them for and be ok with it. dont get me wrong I like the lifx brand and will purchase there bulbs in certain applications over my hues but these didn't wow me. With that said they do have a ton of features that make them excellent choice if you need all the extra goodies. I am realizing as I use smart devices more and more that I don't use half of the features these things are capable of. One con I do have though it how easy they tend to pull away if you are trying to get a them stretch out before using the adhesive. However that also means it makes it easy for installing them in terms or layout. So its a bit of a maybe I can live with it thing until it gets annoying. All in all its a great light strip if you want the best features there are.

This 9 foot version is exclusive to best buy. It's the 6' with a 3' extension strip though so you do need to connect the 2 pieces. But price per foot its a better value than the 6' purchased elsewhere. Colors are so vibrant and saturated. The newly designed Lifx app is a bit stranger than the old version but not impossible to figure out. You get more effects in the app and can do more with LIFX than the hue strip. Lifx apparently defaults to ON if you lose power though, Hue doesnt. lifx says it plans to fix this in a future software or firmware update. my lifx mini still defaults to ON if i unplug the lamp that it's in though. Otherwise I like their stuff, they are different from hue in that the colors are more dense, more directly R/G/B and i think hue is more muted and pastel. purple is truly purple on lifx for example. the leds are closer to each other on the strip too, than hue. I heard the 3m adhesive on the back isn't that great though so plan an alternative way to hang if you need these upside down or really need to rely on the adhesive.
