This is a cool product and works as advertised. I suggest watching a YouTube video on how to set up. I attached an additional string to a lit string and the new string didn't light. This is normal, and well, just find an install video. I'd rate this 5 stars if there was a connector that allowed you to create a right angle, but that's a quibble for an otherwise great product.

I bought these as a gift for my 15 year old brother. He wanted ambiance lights for his room and these are extremely bright. It lights up the entire room with just the 9.8’ strips. The app has a lot of color combinations and if you aren’t satisfied with those you can create your own. The app is available for Android and Apple products, and the lights do not need a hub to function.

I now have a bunch of LIFX lights. I originally went with them because their light bulbs were brighter than the competitions. Over the past year or so they have made connecting easier. They also work with my Apple and Google product (to use the apps or verbal commands to turn them on/off and change color). The LIFX app lets you easily customize the color and effects.

I trust LIFX, I believe it is a really good brand. Personally, I own two light bulbs as well as this light strip. The light strip is awesome.. nothing at all to complain about, but there are two things that shocked me about the light strip. The first being that it doesn't,t really like to bend to fit things (around TVs and tables). SO if that is what you are planning on using that for, then you might wanna explore other options! Also, I noticed that when you turn the LIFX down to a certain white color, you will notice there is a little bit of discoloration. Other than that. I have no issues with the product. Great range of color, brightnesses, and the cool ability to change the parts of the light strip to different colors!

These L.e.d strips are great it gives out beautiful bright colors and you can change the dimness. My girlfriend loves them. It just has one flaw, it has to be connected to a router to control the colors and brightness. It would be a huge improvement if in the future they could be changed via just Bluetooth

So I just set the strip up and I have to say im very impressed. The bought the 1st gen & 2nd gen the second was by far the easist to setup. I had it setup in literally 2 mins tops. The first gen took for ever and even after it was setup it was faulty. Once setup this lights can be linked to IFTT and Alexa and of course Homekit. If your a fan of visual beauty then get these,

These lights are much brighter than the Hue strip lights. I didn't use the adhesion strip. I love the customizable options with these lights. They are a little pricey, but high quality. The app is sometimes a little glitchy. But overall a great product.

I bought this to replace my older LED strip and I saw the immediate difference between the two. The LIFX is much much brighter and being able to address individual LEDs is magnificent. Not to mention integration with Smart Home devices. I am very pleased about this product. Only downside is its price but the quality is up to par.

These lights are very cool, I just wish they made them able to stick better or differently. Fell within hours of putting them up and followed instructions, cleaned the walls well and they wouldn’t stay up again. Bright lights and cool features though.

On my third set, initially really impressed, great colors and simple to use. But, now 2 of the 3 sets have reverted to factory rest setup and nothing I try, following all the Lifx links, seems to solve the problem. Changing to Philip's Hue

I highly recommend these over the Phillips. I tried Phillips first just not that expressed with the brightness. But Holly cow the Lifx are very bright. The connection was very easy and fast. The app is easy to add and adjust. There's so many features I still haven't figured them all out yet.

The colors are great, brighter than the HUE Strips that I have all over my house. I wanted to try something different. I installed the strips on the back of my TV. Used the dinky little pad they give you to clean. Applied the strips and within 4 minutes they were on the floor. How can there be so many reviews with the same complaint, yet LIFX continues to sell this junk. I am returning and going with the Hue. At least they don't cheap out on the worst tape ever used. I am also doing my part to write 1 star reviews on all major sites to warn customers. Lifx, fix your terrible product. You cant be the more expensive option and leave customers with no way to mount them.

I bought these to replace an old white only strip that came with the house under our kitchen cabinets. This one is MUCH brighter and love the color options. It also was longer than my old one and fits the cabinets perfect.

Was simple to set up thru HomeKit but then I couldn’t get my echo to find it. After hours of uninstalling and reinstalling the app and removing the strip i finally gave up and restored the strip and set it up thru the lifx app and then it worked on the echo and apple HomeKit.

Has the right lenth to cover my room and the colors it displays are awesome just like living in a rainbow with every color you can chose my room look totally different every time i adjusts the color changing

I just love my lights. They are so simple to install and they work fabulous.

A durable and very easy to configure set of lights. Works great with the app. Pricier than most others but you get what you pay for. The app is easy to use and you can pick routines or colors to your liking. Very bright as well!

Very easy to setup. app is very smooth. But it is not very bright . If you are looking for a bright lighting option this is not a the correct one. But good accent light

My daughter hung these lights in her room... we can know tell her mood based on the colors we see from under door or through her window... nice quality ... easy to set up and use... pricey
