All I can say is this LIFX strip lightning kit is amazing. This is a very versatile set of LED's that are meant to be used as reflective accents. They are incredibly bright and work seamlessly with your mobile device. It has a ton of colors that can be changed to create a sense of liveliness or tranquil to whatever room you desire. For this Christmas I bought these for all my brothers and sisters, and they love them.

Amazing strip of lights. Long enough to cover the back of a 65inch TV. Works great with Samsung Smartthings and Google Home.

Lifx Z Wi-Fi LED light experience is to date the best LED light strip I have seen and/or used. It is very bright(both in lumens and smart capabilities) and has so many features, functions and color varieties that it makes a rainbow look like light shining through tiny prisms of water. The only problem I have with it is that when you first turn it on you have to update the firmware and sometimes that's not always as easy as it should be or I should say as easy as it is with the Lifx A19 or Lifx Mini Color

Bought a new 65" TCL before Christmas and after mounting it on the wall in the man cave, I debated putting lights behind it for awhile. I like it darker for viewing and the more I researched, the more I liked the idea. Now, which set of lights to get? The Wally store has them for $4.95..... same as .25 cent hamburger. So glad I went with these for (4) reasons. (1) The power cord can reach through the wall down to the power strip easily. Something like 8+ feet should be plenty of length for most wall mounted set ups. (2) This 9.8' length will cover the top, both sides and @6"-8" into the bottom of the 65" TV. I'm about 6-7" from the sides, with the TV tilted down and didn't feel the need for a bunch of light on the bottom of the TV. I absolutely love the way it turned out. (3) The 3M backing on the strips are not going anywhere. I was tempted to loop the corners but just curved them around, Worked fine and the 3M adhesive will hold till the TV falls off the wall. (4) The colors, whites, brightness, themes, phone app, connectivity are all first rate. I can match the room, the scene... totally customizable. I don't need it bouncing with the music but for whatever you're watching, it will make your TV look sharper and better. If you want to go all the way around on a 65" TV, you'll need the additional strip, which you'll likely need to cut. Should work great on a 70" or 75". These connect to my wifi without a hub which is nice. They're not the cheapest (I got $10 off for my birthday month). If they go on sale of the day, I'll pick another up for the bedroom TV.

Put these above my kitchen cabinets to give accent lighting to the space and man it looks great. They are simple enough to connect, with the measuring and leveling being the hardest. Only complaint is they sometimes disconnect from the Wifi network or respond slowly to my Amazon Alexa, for example I tell her to turn them on/off. Rather minor issues and infrequent.

I’m blown away at the quality, functionality, brightness and everything about these strips. I usually buy Phillips Hue lights but decided to try these on my last purchase. I will not be purchasing Hue Strips again after trying these. I love the zone option to allow different colors on one strip. No hub is needed and is HomeKit compatible out of the box. LIFX hit these out if the park! Now if I could just talk the wife into the tiles I would be a happy man!

The saturation on these lights is great. I loved that I could have multiple colors within the same strip. BUT the connection never worked for me, I had to reset the light to connect to my phone every single time! I think maybe twice was I able to use the app without having to reset the connection. Mind you the connection is vía wifi not Bluetooth like I think it should be PLUS these lights will just die on you. Literally one day they’ll just turn off and won’t turn back on. Thankfully I bought a warranty and got a new set but within a few months a section of the strip didn’t work anymore. If you don’t mind going back and forth rebuying the warranty each time the lights go out it’s worth it I guess? I ultimately returned and bought a set of Govee lights. Same multi color effect, the saturation isn’t as intense (softer colors) but they work a lot better than these ever did and were significantly much cheaper

LIFx Z Strip lights are great. The color is rich and full, beats other brands handily in color brightness of richness. They are wi-fi lights that do not require or connect directly to a hub. They can be controlled by several means, the big four digital assistants and the LIFx apps for starters. If you want wonderful color in your space look no further. PS: I’m not connected with LIFx other than a buyer that has used a fair amount of their products.

This is very bright and adjustable. You can pick from a large color palette. Easy to use and good quality.

Expensive, but worth every penny! If you want a BRIGHT, high quality light strip with more customization options, this is your brand. Its expensive but the second you plug it in you see why. 3' of the lifx strip is soooo much brighter and more vibrant than 16' of a cheaper strip. The app is really easy to use as well and setup takes no time at all.

I have several brands of smart lights throughout my house and, honestly, I like everything from LIFX, especially when you are going to use the color changing features (if you just need white or changing temps, there are other less expensive options). The colors are the most accurate or any strip and these are by far the brightest of the 4 brands I have. The new app takes some getting used to but that's more a personal preference and, ideally, you have other ways to control them anyway. Adding the lights to your account is easy and straightforward and, anytime I have had issues with the software or the lights themselves, LIFX customer support is outstanding! Other awesome notes - the LIFX Z-strips have 8 different zones so you can "paint" different colors on the same strip using the app and if you get the exclusive one from Best Buy, it comes with 3 1-meter strips instead of the standard 2 that you get everywhere else. The only thing I don't like about the LIFX products in general is that they connect directly to your WiFi (as opposed to something like the Hue products that create their own network, thus requiring the bridge) so there is potential to crowd your network pretty quickly as these things are addicting and you'll suddenly have tons of places in your house that NEED colored lights. They are a little pricey overall but if you can grab them on sale, it's definitely worth it!

I brought these lights to replace my rope lights that I had in my Crown molding. These looks a hole lot better with all the different colors that I can choose from. I have them hooked up to my Alexa system so it makes it very easy to just say turn on the lights turn off the lights. Especially when coming inside trying to turn off the alarm having your hands full. I feel they are a little pricey.

These are great I have almost 30 throughout my home. They're on the expensive side and the app can be finicky sometimes, but their customer support actually responds. Frequently out of stock and also often on sale, pick them up when you can.

Just got this experience kit and in love with the vibrant colors & animations. I’ve only been using Hue for my home (spent quite a bit on my collection actually) but now I think I’m going to switch out all my Hue lighting to Lifx. The color is so vibrant and pretty, it’s much brighter than Hue but also gives this glow that Hue is lacking. Lifx makes Hue look BASIC!

These lights are absolutely amazing. They are extremely bright and the ability to control the lights from your phone is awesome. The reason I give it a 4* is because the tape on the back of the lights can come un-sticky and they will fall down. Other than that, I highly recommend everyone these lights. They are incredible!
