Building off of Like a Dragon 7, Ichibans story continues with a lot of familiar faces and new ones. The combat system has been slightly reworked and is very satisfying, relying a lot more on positioning. The story is fine, but as for most Yakuza games, the side quests are where it shines. A lot of value and time for the price of entry which makes it worth it. There is the usual insane amount of side quests and activities for those that want to just mess around in this world.

Tired of playing same old main steam games? Infinite Wealth is a refreshing change with a ton variety that is not the tyipcal fetch questing we are used to in most open world games. Nice polished frame rate, graphics and soundtrack taking place in a variety of cities which includes Waikiki, kabukicho shinjuku( kamarocho in game) and yokohama. Visit shopping malls, arcades ( where you can play actual classic sega arcade games), casinos, beaches the list goes on. There’s even a pokemon parody game called sujimon where you collect, train and enter your collected sujimon against other trainers throughout the cities and in the sujimon arena. There is also a lrge variety of intersting characters in your party and throughout the game keep thing interesting.Bought a copy for my brother and two other friends who are enjoying the game.

17 years Yakuza fan here. This game is a bloated, mandatory time wasting contents are frustrating at times. Overall a good Yakuza game, but you can't play it the way you may wanted (such as only enjoying the story) like other non-7 titles.

This is the real swansong of Kiryu Kazuma. Forget about the disappointing Yakuza 6 and its ending. Finally, the Dragon of Dogima gets the game finale that he deserved as he passed the torch of the series to Ichiban. I’m so happy to see so many cameos from past entries appeared again in the side stories such as the hostess Yuki and Koyuki, Kaoru (Kiryu’s lover) from Yakuza 2, and so many others. Compared to Like a Dragon 7, this one triumphs over its predecessor!

If you haven’t dipped your toe into the Yakuza franchise I highly recommend it! While it’s a little slow to start (like most Yakuza games), the payoff is more than worth it. I wasn’t sure how I would like the switch to turn based when I played Yakuza 7, but I ended up liking it and they improved literally everything in this entry. Insane amount of mini games, more dialed in combat, and the new locales are beautiful. Well worth the $70!

This game is hilarious and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. I don't really like the fighting system, but that's only because I do not really like the RPG fighting style. Other than that, this game is great and highly recommend you play it.

If you are fan of the yakuza and like a dragon series, and this is just another reason to buy this game. The story has flashbacks of the main character. It has the same type of fighting mechanics as the other games have had. The graphics are outstandingin the controlling is on par. I will give this game a six out of five stars if I could.

If you like the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series you'll love Infinite Wealth. Definitely shouldn't be the first game you play, but this game can give you 100+ hours of gameplay easily. My favorite game series... Sometimes absolutely weird, sometimes dramatic crime game that's 100% the best of modern Japanese culture.
Only failing of this game is RGG Studios making you pay extra money for NG+.

Refines the turn based system from Yakuza Like a Dragon and fleshes it out a bit more to make it much more engaging. Fantastic character moments and a plethora of minigames as the series is known for.
