While it’s a little slow to start (like most Yakuza games), the payoff is more than worth it. I wasn’t sure how I would like the switch to turn based when I played Yakuza 7, but I ended up liking it and they improved literally everything in this entry. Insane amount of mini games, more dialed in combat, and the new locales are beautiful. Well worth the $70!
