Review bombing because you didnt get your pre order on time is terrible. This game was a lot of fun. It is about 1/2 the length vs other Yakuza games, but honestly that is refreshing as some can consume your life if you want to do everything.

This is a 2 part review part 1 - best buy shipping service is awful, I only chose the shipping option for the "guarantee" of having my product shipped/arrive on day of release which did not happen and not only did I not get my product on time it was delayed twice leaving me no choice but to seek help from best buy who told me that they could do nothing but send out a replacement which also did nothing for me except clutter my emails with return messages since the original product beat the replacement. Long Story short don't use Best Buy shipping. Part 2 - The Game is great goofy fun and definitely worth the price even better if you can get it on sale.

Change of pace from Infinite Wealth, devs new that after that heavy ending it was time to give fans a fun, lower stakes story. Super fun, glad to have a main title with Majima as the main.

Brought this for my husband. He heard a lot of good things about it.

The game itself is fine, but getting this game thru preorder was one of the worst experiences ever. I can understand delays but once the store had the game in stock my preorder was still not ready. I decided to test it (after being told by Best Buy support my order wouldn’t be ready for another week) and ordered another one at same store my preorder pickup was at and got the new order in 30 min. I started up a new support chat after this because the first one never transferred me to a manager like requested and they told me it was an inventory issue. No. This is not an inventory issue this is a handling of inventory issue and is entirely Best Buy’s fault. When you preorder something you should never receive the product after other customers that is the point of preordering. They have lost my business and I hope all of you will go somewhere else.

Still havent recieved the game. Ended up buying the game from gamestop day one wothout even preordering .. when my order comes in im returning it.. time to look for a new way to purchase my games

Still waiting for a game I preordered. I live 3 miles from the store, but mine was shipped from New York on release date. Whats the deal best buy? Why does my purchase not matter to you?

Don't ever preorder from best buy. No idea why they have to ship it cross country when I live near one of its stores.

Nice gaiden type game; great to hold us over while waiting for what comes next after mainline entry Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. Loved the sea battle sections, as well as the typical Yakuza type gaemplay. (Nice little break from turn by turn in LAD IW). The arcade has perfect model 3 versions of Daytona 2 and Virtua fighter 3/3tb. I thought the story was great. These games are so much fun, just give it a shot. Especially if you’re a die hard Sega fan like me (but even if youre not!), this is like what Shenmue was supposed to be lol

This isnt a therapy group to post preorder stories and experiences about you having a sad. Write BB corporate and quit whining.

On Release Delay guarantee from Best Buy, ill bet ya next week there will be negative reviews for monster hunter also because BB can never get logistics together to get a game shipped on release day

I preordered this game, for its getting harder to get physical games anymore. Preordered weeks ago too. Now on the day of this release (2/21/25), the game is delayed. BB, I’m disappointed. First its getting rid of movies and now your video game department can’t even get my game on time. Huge headache.

I ordered this a month ago for my sons 16th birthday. Got a notification it was ready for pick up only to go to the store and learn its now delayed. They couldn’t give us a date either. Very upsetting. We always preorder games with Best Buy, but will rethink that decision next time.

Best Buy failed to fulfill this preorder on release date which is the third in a row. In store employees told me to cancel the order. Then last night I got an email saying I have 24 hours to get a update my payment method or they will cancel my order, however my payment info is valid, Best Buy is doing everything to get out of me saving 10 dollars on this purchase.

I know it's definitely a STELLAR game, but not because I've actually gotten to play it. As the other reviews have stated, NEVER TRUST A PREORDER WITH BEST BUY. This is what I get for trying to keep a brick-and-mortar business open I guess.

Pre-ordered weeks ago but Best But is unable to have the game ready for pickup. Don't preorder physical games from best buy if you want to get it on release date.
