This movie is not good. It leaves watchers with questions, poorly made

Some good actors, just did not like this movie too much.

What if you could take a pill to reach your full potential? An attempted answer is made with this movie, and it was pretty entertaining. Recommended, especially if on sale.

I have to admit that the inspiration I just wrote was the last thing I would expect to happen when I purchased this limitless (starring Bradley cooper) dvd at my walmart job for just five dollars back around September 2014. After all, my husband and I enjoyed watching limitless together when we saw it in movie theaters in 2011 and were both drawn to the idea of the possibilities that could be unleashed if a person can increase their intelligence/genius by just taking a pill. I was mainly looking to explore that possibility again when I purchased this limitless dvd,but something just clicked in me in the scene when he accomplishes the feat of writing his novel. There have also been a series of positive incidences that have also gave me a reminder on how seeking out wisdom and striving for the greatness of genius have been discussed; a natalie portman articIe online where she acknowledged the importance of intellectual growth (I intend to update this review later with one of the articles because I’m aware she is widely known for both her brains and beauty), coming across a book at my job where a woman realized that her beauty can only carry her so far and that her greater focus must be on wisdom, a local news article discussing benedict cumberbatch’s role in the imitation game, and a yahoo news connection on chris hemsworth starring in an upcoming movie based on someone known for their genius). However, I wish to avoid saying more on it and to just at least acknowledge that this movie limitless and the actor’s (Bradley cooper)portrayal inspired me to pursue a side writing career ( a new years resolution). Bradley cooper stars as the character of eddie morra, whose life turns 180 degree turn for the better when he is given a pill that expands his potential. Morra ends up attacting the wealth and love that he craves. However, he meets gets his life turned upside down by another powerful and wealth man named Carl Van loon (Robert DeNiro) who would like to exploit his abilities at morra’s expense. The following dvd extras are attributed to limitless; immortals, the warriors way, season of the witch, x-men first class.

We really enjoyed this movie. Great for a night in.

I loved the idea of this movie. I also love Bradley Cooper as an actor, so i had really expectations for this movie. I was semi-dissapointed because the main character is really self absorbed, but thats a character not a fault of the movie. The plot, as i said, really intriguied me. Though as the movie goes on it jumps from thriller to a more happy/relaxing scene too many times and does it too fast. not transitioning, literally just going from one to the other. This was annoying, but didn't ruin the movie either. Quick note; Bradley Cooper did really well in the star role.

This movie kept me going until the credits rolled. I consider it one of my favorite movies of the year. I will be buying it the day it comes out on DVD. The acting was fantastic and the plot was very original. I cannot wait to see it again!

Ever since i first watched Limitless i have been hooked on this movie. It works because of Bradley Cooper and to a lesser extent Robert De Niro. Right from the very first scene Bradley just chews up every scene he is in, i think that he is a very underrated actor and deserves more praise! If you like movies that let you immerse yourself in not only the premise of the movie but the acting as well, watch Limitless!!

Great concept and execution. There was never a dull moment and the film ended exactly when it needed to. However, the ending somewhat tainted my feelings toward the movie, but it's nothing serious enough to significantly damage it.

I purchased this movie without reading reviews at bestbuy.com just because It was on sale (great sale I would say). I did not regret it at all. You will be hooked form the beginning. We love it here.

Bradley Cooper rocks in this movie and people who have seen Lucy may find some similarities within the story line but I found this one more enjoyable. Got it for around 5$ on Black friday.

being a screwed up nobody that turns into a an alpha male just by taking some pills...who wouldn't love to do that!...seriously good movie in all aspects acting, writing cinematic fantasy!

This is a great movie for anyone who likes action movies. The drug in this movie is really insane... It makes you wonder what would happen if it was real.

Love the TV series and we wanted to see the movie to see how it tied into the series. It was an entertaining movie and I would recommend it to others.

Although it may be science fiction, the movie has plenty of visual panache, and Bradley Cooper makes for a charismatic star.

Anything with Bradley Cooper is worthy of watching these days. Great plot and great acting, I have already watched it a few times now.

Found this to be a very surprisingly entertaining movie. I'd watch it again and would definitely recommend it.
