The main functionality works ok, but the rest of the features are dodgy at best. The path light only works with one phone at at a time, the activity tracker never worked at all, the battery life isn't great, and the customer service from LINK is AWFUL. I Had issues, and they took a long time to ever get back to me, and their way of reaching out was only through email even after I told them I prefer a call. The email went to my spam folder, and I never saw it, then they eventually closed it because I didn't reply to their email, so I had to try to start all over again. I'll only ever use this product if we're traveling and need it to track my dog if she may get loose away from home. 100% not worth it for day to day use.

Nice to see how much activity my dog gets a day! Hope I don't have to use pet locator, but if I do, I'm glad I purchased this for peace of mind.

The collar worked good around home or work but did not work very well when not near high wifi signal so it didn't track where the dog was when outside which is what we needed

We love this collar for keeping track of our dog's activity and having fun with the various features. Keeps our entire family more engaged with our dog. I didn't really think we would ever need it to actually find him since he is almost 12 years old and has never gone missing. But last week someone left our back yard gate open and he got out! I realized he was "away" (the app told me) and within a few minutes I was picking him up down the road at the location indicated on the app map. So happy to have this amazing technology!

OMG! I'm obsessed with my new beagle mix rescue and the link has been a great product for us so far. Since I'm a new rescue parent I worry about Bob getting lost since he's still getting used to his new surroundings. This makes me feel better about leaving him home alone. I've spent sooooo much money lately on dog stuff and I must say that this has been one of the best decisions because it can do more than I realized. Night light is very cool and keeps us both safe and visible for late night walks. Remembering to charge it is a pain, but I'll get used to it.

It was such a blessing to track our lost furbaby! Unbeknownst to me and the hubby, the landscaper left the gate open over the weekend and our Beagle got out - lots of bunnies where we live and Bailey couldn't help but follow his nose right on out of our yard. Anyways, the Link notified us that Bailey wasn't at home and we tracked to find Bailey a few blocks away. Scared the you-know-what out of us to learn he wasn't home, but this product was such a blessing to track our lost furbaby Bailey. We felt like horrible dog parents that we didn't even notice Bailey had gotten out. This really may have saved Bailey's life. Can't speak to the setup, my husband did all of that. he's more of the gadget person than me. Recommend this !!!!!!

We purchased specifically for the GPS tracking not realizing this does so much more. We use the light feature and sound training (helped with excessive barking). The light is great, we just turn it on using the app on our phone and can find him anywhere in the yard at night, no more running outside to search. This has been such a great addition and really is an all in one tool for everything we need.

This collar is great!, The flashlight function is a great feature and very useful for those late nights walks, I have been tracking my dog's activity (Fitbit for your dog).

I've never considered myself a "techy"...particularly when it came to my dog. But I decided to give Link AKC a chance, as they seemed to have the most bang for your buck when it comes to features and capability. I couldn't be happier with my collar! The day-to-day access I have to my dog and his whereabouts, all from my phone, is amazing and really helped put my crazy "dog mom" mind at ease while I'm at work. I've also been much more mindful of how many minutes we walk every day now because of the activity tracker. Highly recommend!

When I personally lost 50 lbs in 2016 it was because I knew I couldn't track my progress if I couldn't measure it. My vizsla (Mayzie) is 6 years old now and "needs" to RUN!! The Link AKC collar is our favorite new way to track our expeditions. Mayzie and I love to trek off trials. We also love to go mountain bike riding at night. The Link AKC is so cool for our activities. We get to track our excursions and are able to turn on the collar light when Mayzie is running through the woods at night with me. I love this gadget.....

This is a great product for anyone who ever leaves their dog alone or has a dog walker. The collar provides instant, accurate gps data for your dog. It notifies you if the dog gets too hot or cold and how much exercise is provided each day. I recently lost a piece of the collar that attaches the gps to the collar. Customer service sent a replacement by Federal Express free of charge. They also supplied an additional sleave in case I wanted to attach it differently in the future. This is a great quality product from a company with great customer service.

This collar is a fantastic tool for a city dwelling dog. I don't use a dog walker every day because sometimes I'm able to go home and walk her, however when I do need to hire a walker I love the GPS tracking to keep us both protected. It lets me know that the walker is doing their job and it gives the walker peace of mind that they won't have to deal with complaints. The activity feature is also great because unlike most dogs who can romp around the yard all day, this feature challenges me to provide my pooch with enough exercise every day to meet her needs. I don't use the other features that much; they work of course but the gps and activity features are the ones that are most valuable to me.

The GPS tracking on the Link is spot on. My golden somehow got out of our fenced in yard and we didn't realize he went missing unitl I looked at my phone and saw the "away" notification. I opened the app and was immediately able to see he had wandered off and was a couple streets down from our house. Without this I would have had no idea where he was. The Link is a life saver!

This collar is great! I have been using it to see how much exercise my dog needs! The GPS tracker actually came in handy recently when my dog got out and I needed to find him. I recommend charging every night though!

My french bulldog Carnegie and I love to go on hikes, and the LinkAKC is the best (only!) way I've found to track those while linking them to pictures. The app has an "Adventures" feature which is perfect for this. At the same time, I feel better knowing he's got a GPS tracking on when I'm at work, plus it's fun to see what he's doing while I'm at work. He has no problem meeting his activity goals, maybe its time to raise those. Great product, 5 stars.

I love the look of the collar and the functionality of it. The collar is very sturdy for my dog who is always running around and playing with other dogs. It is very easy to set up and the app with the GPS and fitness tracker is great! Knowing when my dog is going on his daily walks is very helpful and I can see if he ever were to run away how this would be the first thing I would check!
