    Didn't work consistantly

    First plugged it on, all was well. After a few minutes, my Vonage modem stopped working. Plugged modem into main wireless router, all was well. After several hours, I plugged it back into switch and same deal... Worked great for a while, then failed. Started experimenting and same was true of my Phillips Hue. Then same was true of Samsung 12 channel video security system. In all, I probably got a lemon but it is souring me me on Linksys.

    I purchased first one in a few years ago I like the product and decide to buy the second one and found out it has a different design it has ports in the front of the device I don't like it I returned it back to the store for a refund.

    ...or close to it. I bought it on Saturday and it died on Monday. The power light worked but all the ports quit at the same time. Linksys has a good reputaiton and I have had good luck with them in the past. But on this one occassion, the device completely failed almost immediatley.

    It could be an error on my end but I bought this to split my Ethernet lines from the closet switch board, but couldn't get it to work for me.

    I bought this to integrate a wireless security camera system into my network. Needless to say (1 star rating) it did not perform.

    This device drastically reduced my speeds just by going from router to switch

      The SE3005 switch supports up to 1000 Mbps speed and connecting a device to it should not reduce the speed that you get from the router.
